Well the first room we got was fantastic, with a direct view of the Boardwalk & Epcot. Then I went out on the patio & ended up getting "snowed" on by a green substance. After sitting down, I look & there's green everywhere outside. I grab a towel to clean it up & sit back down, to find it's actively falling everywhere on me, in my hair, and was on the seat I sat in. They're working on refurbishing the Swan & either metal shavings or green paint are now coating me. I call guest services who tell me they can't reach the front desk, so I just need to walk down there myself. After doing so & showing them a video of the situation, & the manager apologized, but no other comparable rooms are available. So I'm downgraded to an option of 2 rooms; without knowing better, I chose the one still up on the higher 7th floor. Big mistake! Now I've been out on the balcony for less than an hour and have a pounding headache. The boat is constantly honking for arrivals & departures, plus the non-stop music piped into the courtyard, construction, and kids screaming. Had I been given any heads up, I would have just kept the previous room & dealt with the lack of a balcony I could sit on during the day while they're working on the Swan. Instead we spent another half hour packing everything back up, another 45 minutes waiting for the bellhop & new key to arrive, & another near hour unpacking & hanging things back up. But at least the music can't be heard from inside the room... That boat horn though?! Inescapable even inside the room! I'm about fed up and we've only been here 4 hours. I'm here for a business trip, not Disney, so the quality of the room is more important than the location. Given the numerous issues noticed, in the future I will avoid any Conferences who choose this as their location. The staff were very nice & tried to be helpful, so that is the plus! I do wish all the drawbacks of the other rooms would have been explained so I would have kept the previous room at least. But 5 stars for the friendliness of everyone we've interacted with.

A little something for everyone. My wife was here for work and my daughter and I tagged along. Plenty of kid friendly pools and activities. The ballrooms were great for the work conference. There is a great variety of dining and bars located all over the property. The Dolphins hotel is a very short walk and also has more dining and activities. It's also adjacent to the boardwalk which connects you to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. There is also a water shuttle to Hollywood studios and Epcot. We used the bus transportation Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom and were very happy with the short wait times.

There is a lot to like about the Swan. Staff: The staff is very friendly with a slight Disney vibe (despite not being a formal Disney resort). Location: The location is superb. You are not going to get better without paying twice as much. You have super easy access to the Boardwalk amenities including shops, restaurants and entertainment. You can also easily access the Boardwalk bus that goes directly to Magic Kingdom, direct buses to animal kingdom and Disney Springs, an indirect bus to Magic Kingdom and then easy boat access to Epcot. Epcot is also walkable. The hotel is many many different restaurants, some of which are a quick walk to one of the sisters hotels. Truly a 5 star location. Rooms: Tight, cramped and bland. Clean... if you don't look too hard. They do provide free bottled water daily which was very appreciated. Walls are thin and you will what a lot of noise. Balconies are nice but very small. If rooms are more important than location, I would prob go with the Reserve. Minor quips: The beds in the room were intentionally engineered to inflict maximum pain on adults. There is no way to avoid slamming your shins on the protruding bed frame. I know you're rolling your eyes at me right now, but the first time you cry out in agony you'll be thinking of me. Also, the bed is firm yet comfortable... but the pillows are the worst. The TV reception goes a pixelated out and back in regularly. The only shop for drinks and snacks closes super early. There might be an alternative, but I didn't see one. All and all, a decent stay for the location and price.

If proximity to Walt Disney World’s Epcot is high on your list but you prefer sophistication over spectacle, this upscale Marriott property may very well be your perfect landing spot. Blending comfort, service, and convenience, it delivers the kind of experience discerning travelers appreciate—especially those seeking a polished stay just outside the Disney bubble. From the moment of arrival, service stands out. The staff exudes that effortless Marriott professionalism—attentive, genuinely friendly, and eager to help without hovering. Whether arranging transportation, recommending dining options, or simply offering a warm greeting, every interaction reinforces the hotel’s commitment to elevated hospitality. Dining options here exceed the typical “resort-adjacent” fare. Each restaurant we sampled, even for a casual drink or light bite, impressed with consistent quality and attentive service. There’s an emphasis on freshness and presentation, making it easy to linger longer than planned. Our guestroom, generously sized and thoughtfully designed, offered the essentials for a relaxing weekend stay. The space felt fresh and comfortable, with the expected touches of an upper-tier Marriott. The bathroom, while modern and attractive, could benefit from a larger vanity area—an improvement that would make getting ready in the mornings far more convenient for couples or families. Location, of course, is this property’s ace. Epcot is within an easy stroll or a charming water taxi ride, and if your plans extend further across Walt Disney World or into Orlando, rideshares are simple to arrange and quick to arrive. Bottom Line: This Marriott offers an ideal balance—refined yet relaxed, close to the magic yet comfortably apart from it. With excellent service, appealing dining, and a prime Epcot location, it’s one of the best off-property stays for those who want Disney access without sacrificing adult comfort. A touch more bathroom counterspace would make it near perfect.

Stayed here for a business conference. This entire resort is outdated. All my co-workers complained about cold showers. You have to run the shower for at least ten minutes to get hot water. The conference rooms are extremely old with squeaky doors that slam shut. All the restaurants / food catering meals were average. The hotel staff are on high horses. Need to look around and realize their resort is on its last leg.
