The Zilwa Attitude All In All Out concept includes the following:

  • Breakfast served buffet style at Karay
  • Lunch served at Lor Disab, Taba-J, Ilot Karay, or a beach BBQ on private island Grand Zil
  • Dine Around concept in Tadka, Kot Nou, Karay and the new restaurant (for every minimum stay of 3 nights, subject to availability)
  • 2 dinners at Lor Disab restaurant (for a minimum stay of 5 nights, reservations required and subject to availability)
  • A selection of local beverages (including water, beer, tea, coffee, soft drinks, house wine and locally bottled alcohol and spirits)
  • A selection of drinks and snacks available at the Bulk Shop corner all day

Good family resort, but below what I expected from a 4-star hotel. I stayed for 4 nights in a Family Room. The strongest aspect of the hotel is clearly the kids club, with well-organized activities and a very friendly team, especially Kristell, who did an excellent job with the children. Unfortunately, the experience was significantly affected by the way restaurant reservations were handled. I contacted the hotel about a month before my trip to ask for recommendations on how to make the most of my stay. They took around 15 days to reply and never mentioned that the restaurants required advance reservations or that they could be fully booked several days ahead. Upon arrival, I received a letter stating that pre-reservations had been made, but when I checked, I discovered there were actually no reservations at all. Apart from one restaurant, everything was fully booked and we ended up dining at the buffet almost every night. Breakfast was good and varied. Dinner was acceptable, but several dishes advertised on the menu were often unavailable. The rooms are comfortable but nothing special, and soundproofing is poor, making it easy to hear what is happening in neighboring rooms. The water sports and leisure activities look interesting, but many finish early or are only available once or twice per day with limited places. The private island also did not justify the additional cost of lunch. Overall, a pleasant hotel for families, but nothing that truly sets it apart from the competition.

We stayed at Zilwa Attitude for 2 weeks on our honeymoon and had an unforgettable holiday! Mauritius is beautiful, but the incredible hospitality and personal service at Zilwa made all the difference. Highlights: Outstanding Food: Excellent breakfast buffet, fantastic à la carte lunches, and top-tier dining. The signature octopus pizza is a must! Exceptional Hospitality: After a minor delay at lunch, Service Manager Nitish went above and beyond—arranging a special dinner at Lor Disab with complimentary langoustines and a fun cooking class with Chef Vick (making chicken curry and flambé bananas!). Special thanks also to Chef Sanjeet and the creative bar team for making us feel so spoiled. Facilities & Activities: Beautiful 3-part beach, plenty of sunbeds, relaxing adults-only pool, and a fantastic spa (loved the Ti-Zil couples massage!). Great complimentary watersports, including snorkeling at the reef. Resort Vibe: Loved seeing local wildlife (geckos, fruit bats) and well-cared-for resort dogs/cats. Minor Notes: Early arrival shower room was great, though luggage security for early/late arrivals could be tightened. Expect occasional beach vendors, and snorkeling boat re-boarding can be a bit tricky in choppy seas. Overall, Zilwa is an amazing base to explore Mauritius (definitely rent a car!). The setting, food, and above all, genuinely warm people will bring us back. Thank you, Zilwa team

We had a wonderful stay at Zilwa Attitude and, overall, we left the hotel with very positive memories. Although we experienced several issues during our stay, what impressed us the most was the hotel’s genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and the way every concern was handled. We made our reservation through Booking.com. Before arriving at the hotel, we sent a few questions, but unfortunately we only received a reply after we had already checked in. A quicker response before arrival would have been much more helpful. During our stay, we encountered several issues related to our room, housekeeping, the spa experience, and some aspects of the dining service. Naturally, these situations affected our experience at first. However, what truly made the difference was how the hotel responded. During the guest satisfaction survey, we shared all of our concerns. Immediately afterwards, the management team personally met with us, sincerely apologized, listened carefully to our feedback, and did everything they could to resolve the issues. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to make things right completely changed our impression. A special thank you to Nitish, the Restaurant Manager, for his exceptional hospitality and genuine care. We would also like to thank Arwind and the entire bar team for always being friendly, cheerful, and attentive. In fact, every member of the staff we interacted with made us feel welcome and valued. The hotel’s location, beautiful surroundings, and peaceful atmosphere are outstanding. For anyone planning to explore Mauritius, we highly recommend renting a car, as it allows you to discover the island much more comfortably. The hotel offers breakfast-only, half-board, and all-inclusive packages. Our recommendation is to book the breakfast-only option. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy Zilwa Attitude’s excellent à la carte restaurants with their different concepts while also discovering other restaurants around the island. We believe this is the best way to experience both the hotel and Mauritius. In the end, no hotel is perfect, and what truly matters is how problems are handled. Zilwa Attitude has a team that genuinely cares about its guests and works hard to ensure they leave happy. Thanks to their sincere efforts and outstanding hospitality, we left with wonderful memories despite the issues we experienced. We would happily recommend Zilwa Attitude to anyone visiting Mauritius. Thank you to the entire team—especially Nitish, Arwind, and everyone who made our stay so warm and memorable. We hope to see you again in the future!

Superb hotel with an incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant selection and overall gastronomy are outstanding. The resort offers plenty of activities, such as stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, pedal boats, and more. There are five à la carte restaurants, and every evening there was entertainment or a special program. As we were on our honeymoon, the hotel also prepared several thoughtful surprises for us, which made our stay even more memorable. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!
