I’ve stayed here three times in the past couple of months, and overall it’s been a solid experience! Here are a few things to know: Parking & Checkout - Free parking on-site - You can add one extra hour for free on the day of checkout—just call the front desk. - After 12 PM, it’s $25 per additional hour. Amenities & Hours - Pool opens at 7 AM and closes at 11 PM. - The bar closes around the same time. - The front desk is open 24 hours, but there’s usually only one person working overnight, so be kind and patient, they’ve always been super nice to us. - The café in the tower has always been closed during our visits, but the main one near the pool is open. Housekeeping - Not included daily, but you can pay for daily service if you’d like. - A free cleaning is offered every 3 days for longer stays. - Small heads-up: you’ll likely get a knock from housekeeping 15 minutes to an hour before checkout. Rooms & Overall Stay - Rooms are relatively clean, and the staff is friendly. - The walls are a little thin, but most guests are respectful, so it’s not a big issue. Location Highlights - Less than 10 minutes from Universal. - Around 15 minutes from Epic Universe. - 20–30 minutes to Disney World. - 15–20 minutes to the Kia Center. Overall for the price, you really can’t complain. It’s a good value stay with helpful staff and convenient access to all the major Orlando attractions!

Some of the bad reviews I feel are unfair. People paying 3☆ but expecting 5☆. Stayed at this hotel 3 times in past 12 years. Last time September 2025 for 16 nights. Yes it used to be a bit run down but in the past few years it's been rejuvenated. Rooms modernised. New flooring throughout. Want a chill day it has a large pool area open until 11pm. Pool bar, inside bar and restaurant open until 10:30pm. Fair prices. Pool.bar sometimes shuts earlier. All staff friendly. Plenty of parking. Not far from Universal. If going by car to Universal I suggest getting a UBER. It's a lot cheaper than parking. I found our room clean, but housekeeping only come round every 3 or 4 days. Bathroom could be better. Only down fall is the resort fee (which most hotels in Orlando require). We knew about it before we went. $16 per room per night is a bit much. On top of that you also have the 6.5% sales tax. $271 for 16 nights.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed – False Advertising and Terrible Experience I booked this hotel for my birthday stay, hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable experience, but it was the complete opposite. The listing claimed that free breakfast was included — that was a total lie. When I asked about it, the staff had nothing to offer and didn’t seem to care at all. The room setup was terrible and nothing like the photos. It gave more motel vibes than anything close to a “resort.” The furniture looked old, the lighting was bad, and the overall cleanliness was questionable. I honestly did not feel comfortable staying here. For almost $100 a night, I expected something decent, but this place looks and feels ghetto and run-down. I would never have paid that kind of money if I knew what I was getting into. This was supposed to be a special weekend, but the experience completely ruined the mood. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

I recently spent a month at this Wyndham while completing my Frontier Airlines training, and it truly felt like a second home thanks to the amazing staff. Right from the start, the front desk team—especially Megan and the manager tanekia —were incredibly helpful whenever I needed anything. The general manager, Ricardo, was super hands-on and always stylish in a new tailored suit each day, which added a nice touch of charm. In the breakfast area, Ms. Judy and Juliana made mornings feel warm and welcoming. Ms. Velma and Munde , who took care of the lobby, were like aunties always looking out for me. And a big shoutout to Reggie the cook and Chef José for making sure the food was always perfect. Even my housekeeper, Pascaly, was so sweet. Despite a small language barrier, I could feel her cheering me on. The bartenders—Victor, Angel, John, and Derek—always asked about my exams and genuinely cared about how I was doing. All these different people played a huge part in my success in graduating from Frontier Airlines. Every key person made sure I had what I needed and truly gave me a village of support. I’d absolutely come back to this hotel again. ( side note:: the French fries are a 10/10 TRUST ME! )

My wife and I recently had gotten married and we thought we’d take a little trip to Halloween horror nights at universal since we hadn’t been in over 5+ years. We planned this special trip for almost an entire month and had it all booked and ready to go, tickets bought for the park, and we were driving almost 3 hours from south Florida. We arrive to the hotel and get in line as we get called up for help we get assisted by what seems to be a new guy which isn’t a bad thing but it gets to a point where they can’t find our reservation.. no big deal system errors happen all the time and we show them the confirmation email and we triple check that our room was still active and paid for. The guy takes our phone with the confirmation email and comes back stating a manager was going to assist us in a “few minutes” and to wait by the side until they come out. An entire 15 minutes go by and the people at the check in finish the entire line until a worker by the name “Janice” asked us if we’ve been helped to which we replied that we’ve been waiting a few minutes for a manager now and we were just trying to check into our booked room. By the way, the manager (whom I didn’t catch the name of) did come out to the check in table but instead of acknowledging or assisting us he helped clear out the line even though we had this whole thing already booked and ready and have been waiting now a while. Also, the “self check in stations” were out of service. Turns out we never needed a manger to begin with because between the original person and Janice they finally gave us a room only to find out it’s the complete wrong room that we had paid for AND no power!! We immediately go back and they were so rude to fix the situation they had created Janice didn’t want to grab the manager when we had politely asked for one and they never even asked if we were okay or what the issue was. Terrible customer service, if you’re having a bad day go home if you don’t wanna work then find another job. The room had water all over the floor from the AC and stains on certain furniture but at that point we just wanted to go to sleep and leave in the morning. Definitely won’t be staying back here. I gave it 5 for location because its close to the theme parks but honestly I would’ve preferred to drive further away and get better service and less issues than stay closer for convenience.
