The hotel is definitely dated, and the rooms have an older, musty smell. That said, the room was clean, I felt safe throughout my stay, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. One of the biggest advantages is the location. It's directly across the street from a great shopping plaza with several excellent restaurants and a CVS, which was very convenient. It's also about a 10-minute walk to the Convention Center, making it a practical choice if you're attending an event there. If you're looking for modern accommodations, this may not be the best fit. However, if your priorities are cleanliness, safety, a convenient location, and friendly service, it gets the job done.

I checked in today to stay for one night with my family for my birthday weekend. I went to the counter and checked in and went up to the room. When I got there I found that they gave me a room that was already occupied! There were other peoples belongings and the beds had already been slept in! They gave me access to someone else’s belongings. My son and I had to haul all of our bags back down to the car and go back around to the front. When I went back to the check in counter there was only one lady working while other workers wandered back in forth. I waited for 30 minutes while my family sat in the car waiting for the issue to be resolved. Finally, I get another room key and get to that room with all of our bags to find that the key didn’t work! I called and the manager came to open the door and did bring me another key but I feel like the least that they could have done would be offer an upgrade or a voucher for the restaurants down stairs. At this point the room should have been comped! I will never stay at this hotel again!

I liked this hotel. It is a budget-friendly and affordable option, yet neat and clean. The location is very convenient—right on International Drive (I-Drive) and close to Universal Studios. They also provide a shuttle service to Universal, which is very helpful. There are many nearby places to eat and enjoy, making the stay comfortable and convenient. Overall, it’s a good choice if you’re looking for a clean, economical hotel in a great location.

On arrival it felt like i was back in the 90’s with the decor and vibe. We were greeted at check in by very friendly members of staff who were more than happy to help. As we drove round to our building we were on the third floor of block D we felt we were stepping back in time. The room was clean and Air con was Fabulous. However it really felt dated and in need of a boost into the 2020’s. However it served its purpose with two double beds, clean bathroom and plenty of space. The location was fantastic for us as we were visiting for the weekend Collect-A-Con which was held at the orange county convention centre right next door. Even though we rented a car for the weekend we grabbed a ‘Lyft’ to the centre as too hot to walk and the car park filled up too quick. It cost $4! This is a great budget Hotel with no frills

In n’ Around Yorkshire

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience at Rosen Inn - would not choose to stay here again. The hotel was ok as a base for visiting the parks but the cleanliness standards were not what we expected… The room and hotel areas felt quite dirty, and we also had issues with noise from dogs barking and whining throughout the day, which made it difficult to relax after long days out. The biggest disappointment was having a personal item taken from our room during housekeeping (taken whilst we were out). I reported it immediately and completed a lost & found form, but despite chasing this several times during our stay, I received no updates or resolution. After returning home, I contacted Guest Services twice to request reimbursement for the item and received an acknowledgement stating someone would respond within 48 hours. Three weeks later, I still have had no response… It’s disappointing because the issue itself was small, but the lack of communication, ownership and customer service made the situation much worse! Another issue during our stay was the constant pressure from Wyndham services staff. We were approached repeatedly every day when trying to book a park shuttle, despite making it clear we were not interested. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean, modern or comfortable place to relax after busy days. I stayed here 7 years ago too and unfortunately very little appears to have changed, the hotel feels dated and in need of updating. If you are only looking for a basic place to sleep and store your bags while spending most of your time at the parks, then it may be suitable, but I would not choose to stay here again based on the cleanliness, outdated condition and the poor handling of issues during our stay.
