We had a really good stay at Ramada Plaza and for the price, I’d definitely stay here again. The room was great. Really modern, clean and a good size, and having the room cleaned every three days was more than enough for us. The location is probably one of the best things about it. It’s right on International Drive, with loads of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and it was only around $6–$10 in an Uber to Universal, so getting to the parks was really easy. The breakfast is probably the weakest part. I agree with the other reviews that it’s very basic… Basically boiled eggs, bread, waffles and a bit of cereal. They could definitely put a bit more effort into it, but for what we paid for the hotel, it was fine if you couldn’t be bothered going out for breakfast or didn’t want anything too over-facing The only other downside was checkout day. Our flight wasn’t until 8:30pm, so the night before we asked if there was a room or somewhere we could use to freshen up after checking out, before heading to the airport. We were told we could use the shower by the pool, which obviously wasn’t suitable, and when we asked about late checkout we were told the manager had left a note saying not to offer it to anyone. That was a bit disappointing, especially with such a late flight. Other than that, we honestly had a great stay. For the price, location and standard of the room, you can’t really complain. We’d definitely stay here again if we come back to Orlando.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights during our New Year’s trip to Disney World and had a very pleasant experience. The room was a good size and offered beautiful views from both sides — one overlooking the lake and the other facing the city. It made our stay feel bright and relaxing. Housekeeping came every 3 nights to clean and replenish the room, which worked well for us during a long stay. Breakfast was served early with simple, basic options. Just a note: if you arrive later in the morning, there may not be much left since items aren’t refilled. For the price and the hotel’s proximity to Disney World, we felt it was absolutely worth it. It provided comfortable living at a reasonable rate, which is perfect for families spending most of their time in the parks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and budget‑friendly place to stay in Orlando.

Disappointing Experience – Unreasonable Early Check-in Policy & Poor Facilities I arrived at the hotel around 10 AM and went to the front desk to check in. The male receptionist immediately told me “check-in is at 4 PM” without even bothering to check if a room was available. Fortunately, a female staff member nearby stepped in and actually checked for me – she confirmed that no room was ready yet, which I totally understood. We waited in the lobby and asked a few more times over the next few hours, but each time we were told the room still wasn’t ready. Finally, around 2:30 PM, we were told a room was available – but then we were informed that if we wanted to check in early, we’d have to pay an extra $35. What really bothered me was that no one mentioned this early check-in fee at any point before 2:30 PM. If they had clearly communicated that an early check-in fee applies, and if they had actually made an effort to prioritize cleaning our room earlier in exchange for that fee, I would have been happy to pay. But instead, it felt like they were simply holding the room hostage until exactly 4 PM unless we paid up – even though the room was already ready. We ended up paying the $35 because my husband was feeling unwell and we needed to rest, so we got into the room about 1.5 hours early. But the whole experience left a bad taste. To make matters worse, the bathroom has no air conditioning and no ventilation fan. Right after a shower, it felt like I was sweating all over again. And the air conditioning unit in the room was extremely loud, making it hard to sleep comfortably. Overall, the service felt inflexible and poorly communicated, and the facilities were below standard. I would not recommend this hotel.

Extremely disappointing stay from start to finish. Our room was infested with bugs, and every night there was a loud bleeping noise that made it impossible to sleep properly. When we reported the issue, we were told we could either pay an extra $50 per night to upgrade rooms or “put up with it,” which is completely unacceptable. Housekeeping was also very poor. The room was never properly cleaned, only the sheets were changed, and staff were sometimes turning up as late as 7pm when our children were already asleep. The most concerning issue was a serious breach of guest privacy. A sheet was left in our room containing other guests’ full names, check-in and check-out dates, and payment information. I went to speak with the hotel manager to raise this concern and was left waiting in the lobby for over 10 minutes before eventually walking away as nobody came to help. Overall, the hotel fell far below basic standards for cleanliness, customer service, and guest privacy. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

We recently stayed here for 6 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room offered an absolutely amazing view that never got old. On top of that, the location is unbeatable—it was perfect for exploring, and having a local bus station so close and accessible made getting around incredibly easy. Plus, there is a fantastic variety of restaurants right around the hotel, making it so convenient to grab a great meal after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend this place for a seamless and comfortable stay!
