This hotel was good previously, but since the refurbishment - it is really excellent. As it is now adults only, the atmosphere was relaxing with a laid back vibe. The rooms are fantastic, restaurants and food phenomenal and the customer service everywhere was first class. The speciality steak restaurant really is top notch, great food and outstanding service. Evening and day time entertainment were the right level for the hotel and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it!

A wonderful hotel! Beautifully renovated, the rooms are very comfortable. Beautiful pools, well-equipped gym. The additional activities are very interesting; I'll remember how to make a mojito after Mr. Sidney's training! Definitely a premium experience. The New Year's Eve dinner was also a big surprise; it exceeded our expectations – lobster, a selection of caviar, seafood, and many types of shells. The only thing I would add is the ability to make your own coffee and tea at breakfast. The staff was very helpful, but they get very busy during the breakfast rush, and it would be easier to bring my own. Overall, you can feel the effort put into this place, and I'll gladly recommend it to friends. As a cat lover, it was nice to see well-groomed and sterilized cats.

Just returned after 2 weeks all inclusive stay in the Club. Following comparisons relate to stays in other premium brand hotels (e.g. RIU, Melia, etc) as well as a stay in the Fuerteventura Secrets Bahia Real hotel in Corralejo last year. Dislikes/improvements needed: Price - Club additional price at £500/per person/week is overpriced for additional benefits. Most of the Club bedrooms are West facing which means the sun only reaches balconies in late afternoon/eve. If you are looking to sunbathe on the room balcony look to book Room 14304 which is the only Club room that benefits from a terrace exposed to the sun from mid-day onwards. Facilities - big disappointment was the lack of any spa facilities e.g. hot tubs, saunas or even massage facilities. Some of these may be available at the sister Costa Adeje hotel down the road, but at the time of our visit this was being refurbished with an expected completion date of December 2026. Services - we had to go looking for details of fitness classes/entertainment details. Would have been better to have access to these from the room TV menus. Also disappointed with minibar reprovisioning - some days only given 1 teabag for 2 people! Lack of any turn down service which we felt should be provided to guests staying in the Club rooms. Food - Generally the food was good, but lacked variety from day to day, particularly noticeable for 2 week stay. Noise - Construction noise (jack hammers, beeping from construction vehicles) from refurbishment of Costa Adeje hotel and on one day there was an all day 'rave' from the adjacent travellors site. Pros/likes: Hotel - One of the main attractions was the newly refurbished status. Everything was clean, fresh and worked with no signs of usual wear and tear. Service - generally all the staff were highly attentive to our needs special mention to reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff. The only time we felt unattended on a number of occasions was in the Teide bar where waiting for coffee service on the terrace took too long. Food - generally good range, but lacked variety from day to day. Our best meal/evening by far was a meal in the Gofio a-la-carte restaurant. Club facilities - enjoyed the exclusive pool and sunbeds/Bali beds. Food in the exclusive lounge area could be improved - sandwiches where uninspiring! Other facilities - newly refurbished tennis court (no net at the time of our stay). We also enjoyed using the 9 hole mini-golf at the rear of the club although this is in need of some refurbishment. Car parking - we paid 3 Euros per day to park our rental car in the hotel. Overall felt the hotel is good but didn't meet our expectations of a 'luxury' hotel particularly when compared to our stay in the Bahia hotel in Fuerteventura. Overall rating of 7/10. Comments on Tenerife: we used a rental car to explore the island. Found the island to be very busy in comparison with Lanzarote and Fuerteventura e.g. hard to find any public parking either in towns or in mountains/Teide national park. Similar story when walking around Costa Adeje just a general feel of over-crowding.

We had a short stay at this resort, but loved every part of our experience. The property has been recently renovated, and the rooms, facilities, gym, and buffet area were all spotless and beautifully designed. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this resort and would happily return.

Whilst the hotel is visually lovely, it certainly doesn’t warrant the “luxury” tag. Several features that a luxury hotel should have as basic are missing here. First off all of the staff are very friendly and do try their best for you. However we found drinks service at dinner agonisingly slow and likewise in the lobby bar. The room is lovely, modern and well laid out. We agree that there is limited storage for clothes, however 2 of us managed ok for a week. Bathroom is lovely with the double sink and big mirror. For those that don’t like the idea of the shower window to room - there is a blind that you can put down for privacy. Air condition works well and the housekeeping service was immaculate. However the lack of a turndown service was disappointing - a luxury hotel should be offering this as standard. The pool area is very nice and plenty sunbeds and Bali beds to choose from - however only 1 half of the main pool is heated which is disappointing. For a luxury hotel we think poolside drinks service should be offered as standard aswell - especially when the resort is so quiet. We don’t mind going to bar however this service is what should be expected for a luxury hotel. Food - personally we felt the dinner buffet was not great. Most the food was lukewarm at best and often very bland and watery. We opted for the pasta station most nights which was nice being able to craft it and have it cooked in front of you. Annoyingly as well - most meat options were pork and often found chicken and beef to be very fatty. I would recommend having lunch in Gofio as this is a sit down à la carte lunch - we preferred the offering in here to that at dinner. This is included in the AI. Drinks - whilst the offering is vast, the lack of any premium label drinks at a luxury hotel is poor. Not even offered to club guests either. We were not really impressed with the cocktails - majority were pre made / mixed and not fresh. Cocktails in the evening were far from expected from a luxury hotel. Entertainment during the day was fun and not forced upon you - again staff are great and friendly. Night time entertainment was hit and miss, but some nights were definitely better than others. A note to all guests that the staff start shutting the lobby bar at 10.30 pm and no more drinks orders past 11pm. No last orders call or anything. We went into las americas for one night taxis just under €25 each way from hotel. We also done Siam park for a day and were roughly €20 each way also. As a young couple who holiday quite regularly in similar style hotels and resorts across Europe and the Americas we were excited to try the newly renovated hotel. We made some good friends during our time and had many a laugh and interesting stories with other couples and groups. However, we were unfortunately made to feel unwelcome by some guests who felt it appropriate to stare at us and make rude faces which made us feel uncomfortable. We don’t really understand this attitude and mindset but I feel the need to highlight it for other younger couples who may be looking at holidaying here. For that reason I would hesitate to recommend this hotel for a young couple to holiday at. As I say we met some really friendly people during our time, as we always do when we go away however there definitely is a sense of entitlement from some guests - with some also being rude towards the brilliant staff. Finally, there is a massive slum directly next to the hotel which sprawls all the way down to the sea. Whilst I understand the social reasons why this is the case, it does put an eyesore on what is a beautiful view of the sea and La Gomera. Overall we really did enjoy our week away, and would return if the price was right. (We would not pay what we did to return) We just don’t feel the resort is quite “luxury” yet and has some work to do. There are a lot of positives about this place and I’m sure it will continue to improve. Although at present there is better products on offer in the canaries for the same price tag.
