I have just returned from 5 nights in this hotel and it was wonderful! I wasn’t originally booked to stay here, but my travel operator over sold my hotel and provided me this hotel instead, which was a very pleasant upgrade. This hotel was amazing! Recently refurbished so the whole place was immaculate, the staff were wonderful and so friendly, service was attentive and to high standards. Food and drink quality were superb, lovely cocktails, although a tad repetitive on the all inclusive but to be expected. A slightly older clientele and drinks finishing at 11 means it’s not party central, but you can get a taxi into playa de las americas in 15 minutes for more night life. Overall I would stay here again, do not hesitate to book for a lovely relaxing stay.

This hotel was good previously, but since the refurbishment - it is really excellent. As it is now adults only, the atmosphere was relaxing with a laid back vibe. The rooms are fantastic, restaurants and food phenomenal and the customer service everywhere was first class. The speciality steak restaurant really is top notch, great food and outstanding service. Evening and day time entertainment were the right level for the hotel and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it!

I chose this hotel with the goal of getting sun during winter, drinking beers and cocktails by the poolside, and basically not having to lift a finger for seven days. Bahia Principe Luxury accomplished all of this with some extras on the side, me and my partner had a fantastic and relaxing couples holiday here (all-inclusive package) and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. It’s a 5/5 from me and it’s very difficult to poke holes on this hotel and our experience. Positives: - The poolside has a lovely and relaxed atmosphere, we got very lucky in that the hotel seemed about half empty when we arrived so there was no shortage of sunbeds and the pool area never felt crowded. There is one cold pool and one arctic-freezing pool but both felt refreshing once you were in. The Aqua pool bar is the crown jewel of this area, with San Miguel’s on tap and delicious pina colada’s to your hearts content. - Rooms are newly renovated and state of the art, there are two USB sockets which meant that I didn’t have to break out my travel plug at all in order to charge my devices. We had a junior deluxe suite which was more than spacious enough for two people, with a lovely view of the sea and pool area to sit and read in. The bathroom and walk-in shower was beautifully lit and felt luxurious. The TV has British channels and it’s a smart TV so you can cast YouTube into it - The buffet food ranged from above-average to good, and the two a-la carte restaurants (a steakhouse and a “traditional canaries” restaurant) were fantastic for all three courses. The buffet also rotated food items every day for lunch and dinner, for a seven day stay we never had to eat the same thing twice - The gym is extremely clean, and also state of the art with new equipment. There’s basically one of every type of machine here, and has an outdoor CrossFit area as well. This gym was also very quiet during our stay Negatives (this is me being very nitpicky, these are more “nice to haves” than complaints - The pool bar is great but there’s usually only one person staffed there, queue times can get up to 6-7 minutes. I think this is because it was February and out of season. It can be annoying when someone in front of you orders 4 cocktails when you just want a beer or a soft drink. This could be mitigated by either having more staff at the bar or having a beers, soft drinks, and water being self-serving - The entertainment is good but the actual locations of the entertainment could have done with more sign-posting. For example, the Aqua aerobics, the food tasting, and the afternoon quiz all take place at “The Main Pool” according to the app and the noticeboards, but are actually in three separate areas around the pool. - I would have liked if the activities were a bit more “substantial”, the “Free Casino Games” was just a roulette wheel. This is fine but the way it was advertised had me thinking there would be Roulette, Blackjack, Texas Hold ‘em etc instead of just one game. The timings advertised could also be inaccurate, I went to an evening quiz that was advertised from 20:00-20:30 but it was over in 10 minutes, one round. - There is no spa area, and the tennis court doesn’t have netting (which is funny because the actual tennis court is brand new and as clean as a snooker table - surely putting the net in is the easy part!) But these would have been good “nice-to-haves” in an otherwise great hotel. Things I wish I had known before arriving: - The two a-la carte restaurants close on some days of the week (steakhouse was closed on Monday and Tuesday, the canaries restaurant was closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) If you’re here for a week I recommend leaving the other days of the week free in order to dine there. - The sun loungers are first-come, first-serve - so no need to “pre-book” or reserve any of the sunbeds, just lay down your towel and it’s yours for the day. This also includes the wider sunbeds and the cabanas.

A wonderful hotel! Beautifully renovated, the rooms are very comfortable. Beautiful pools, well-equipped gym. The additional activities are very interesting; I'll remember how to make a mojito after Mr. Sidney's training! Definitely a premium experience. The New Year's Eve dinner was also a big surprise; it exceeded our expectations – lobster, a selection of caviar, seafood, and many types of shells. The only thing I would add is the ability to make your own coffee and tea at breakfast. The staff was very helpful, but they get very busy during the breakfast rush, and it would be easier to bring my own. Overall, you can feel the effort put into this place, and I'll gladly recommend it to friends. As a cat lover, it was nice to see well-groomed and sterilized cats.

Just returned after 2 weeks all inclusive stay in the Club. Following comparisons relate to stays in other premium brand hotels (e.g. RIU, Melia, etc) as well as a stay in the Fuerteventura Secrets Bahia Real hotel in Corralejo last year. Dislikes/improvements needed: Price - Club additional price at £500/per person/week is overpriced for additional benefits. Most of the Club bedrooms are West facing which means the sun only reaches balconies in late afternoon/eve. If you are looking to sunbathe on the room balcony look to book Room 14304 which is the only Club room that benefits from a terrace exposed to the sun from mid-day onwards. Facilities - big disappointment was the lack of any spa facilities e.g. hot tubs, saunas or even massage facilities. Some of these may be available at the sister Costa Adeje hotel down the road, but at the time of our visit this was being refurbished with an expected completion date of December 2026. Services - we had to go looking for details of fitness classes/entertainment details. Would have been better to have access to these from the room TV menus. Also disappointed with minibar reprovisioning - some days only given 1 teabag for 2 people! Lack of any turn down service which we felt should be provided to guests staying in the Club rooms. Food - Generally the food was good, but lacked variety from day to day, particularly noticeable for 2 week stay. Noise - Construction noise (jack hammers, beeping from construction vehicles) from refurbishment of Costa Adeje hotel and on one day there was an all day 'rave' from the adjacent travellors site. Pros/likes: Hotel - One of the main attractions was the newly refurbished status. Everything was clean, fresh and worked with no signs of usual wear and tear. Service - generally all the staff were highly attentive to our needs special mention to reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff. The only time we felt unattended on a number of occasions was in the Teide bar where waiting for coffee service on the terrace took too long. Food - generally good range, but lacked variety from day to day. Our best meal/evening by far was a meal in the Gofio a-la-carte restaurant. Club facilities - enjoyed the exclusive pool and sunbeds/Bali beds. Food in the exclusive lounge area could be improved - sandwiches where uninspiring! Other facilities - newly refurbished tennis court (no net at the time of our stay). We also enjoyed using the 9 hole mini-golf at the rear of the club although this is in need of some refurbishment. Car parking - we paid 3 Euros per day to park our rental car in the hotel. Overall felt the hotel is good but didn't meet our expectations of a 'luxury' hotel particularly when compared to our stay in the Bahia hotel in Fuerteventura. Overall rating of 7/10. Comments on Tenerife: we used a rental car to explore the island. Found the island to be very busy in comparison with Lanzarote and Fuerteventura e.g. hard to find any public parking either in towns or in mountains/Teide national park. Similar story when walking around Costa Adeje just a general feel of over-crowding.
