Recently stayed for my bachelorette party. The resort itself was clean but certainly not anything overly impressive. What was impressive was the service from our pool boys Edwin and Roger! The most service forward gentlemen who checked in with our group, made sure we were fed and never had an empty glass. We loved them!!! The resort itself had a variety of entertainment and it all started with Erik - who kept the pool activities vibrant and made an effort to get to know you on a first name basis. These three fellas made us feel so taken care of!

If I could give this resort zero stars, I would. This was, without question, the worst all-inclusive experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the entire atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. It genuinely seemed like every staff member was having the worst day of their life and took it out on the guests. Friendly service was practically nonexistent. The food was consistently disappointing. For a resort that charges premium prices, the quality was embarrassingly poor. Every meal felt like a gamble, and there wasn’t a single dining experience that lived up to what an all-inclusive resort should offer. Service was even worse. Something as simple as room service would take hours—if it showed up at all. Requests were ignored, communication was terrible, and there was little sense of urgency from anyone. You’re essentially paying luxury prices for budget-level service. The rooms were outdated, poorly maintained, and nowhere near the standard Hyatt should be associated with. On top of that, the countless time restrictions and unnecessary rules made it feel more like being managed than being on vacation. For an all-inclusive resort, it was surprisingly inconvenient. The most disappointing part is that Hyatt allows this property to carry its name. This resort falls dramatically short of the quality, hospitality, and service people expect from the Hyatt brand. It’s wildly overpriced, poorly managed, and an absolute waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and book literally anywhere else. There are countless resorts that will treat you better, feed you better, and actually make you feel like you’re on vacation. Hyatt should be embarrassed to have this location representing its brand.

Some friends & I recently brought our Senior boys on a 5 night trip here & it exceeded all expectations! We were a group of 8 moms & 8 sons from Oklahoma. Ours boys had a great time! The activities with Eric in the pool everyday were so fun! Roger & Edwin were the most amazing, attentive servers to all of us. We very much enjoyed them & didn't want for anything. Juan, the lifeguard, was amazingly kind & helpful with a few slip & falls & some bug bites that happened. Addie was so much fun on the volleyball court & kept the games rolling. The resort itself was absolutely gorgeous! The pools, the landscaping, the activities (even when it was cloudy & windy 2 days) were outstanding! Thank you so much for such a great vacation! We cannot wait to go back!

Came here to celebrate a friend's special bday party. This place is wonderful and exactly what our group needed! Room was awesome (we got the swimout). Food was great and the location/type was varied (buffet, sitdown restaurants, beachside & poolside). The location is great & a short drive from the airport. They do a good job keeping out as much seaweed as possible from depositing on the shore so you can enjoy the beach. Most importantly: shout out to all the staff that work there, from check in to room service to waiters to security, etc. Friendly and attentive. Y'all made this experience worth it, I'll definitely visit again!

This resort was great! The rooms were perfect and comfortable, and great AC. The restaurants were delicious - the Italian and Mexican were our favorites. With fun entertainment throughout the day. The xhale club side of the pool was where it was at. Victor helped us set up chairs everyday and remembered us and knew how many were in our party after the first day! He was great and super friendly. Roger and Edwin were our pool waiters and were the absolute best part of our trip! They worked their butts off and checked on us the perfect amount- they were incredibly professional, fun and hard working. Those 3 deserve more recognition! Daniel and Christian were the bartenders too and absolutely crushed it. They worked non-stop, worked hard and fast so they didn’t have long lines, and made incredible drinks. Those men are top tier. Such an incredible trip because of the service we received at the xhale side of the pool. The resort should staff more employees throughout the resort - it was noticeable staff around the resort were disproportionately providing service compared to how many customers/how big of an area they had. That would have been my only complaint of the trip is that the resort did seem understaffed. But those that were working were incredibly hard working, friendly and knowledgeable of their craft. Editing additional comments - the pools really do tear up your feet though. I went with smooth pedicured feet and the whole bottoms of my feet are now peeling and roughed up. Be careful! Booking the hibachi as a group was a pain in the ass and required each couple log on at midnight to try to get a table together. Barely got a table. The restaurants also have long wait times for dinner if you don’t go early. The last night our group had to split up for dinner since the French restaurant required pants for men. We tried eating later (8pm) than the previous days (eating at 6pm) and the second half of our group didn’t get a table for over 1.5 hours later at the Mexican restaurant. That was rough!
