Excellent location and excellent service by the staff! They have given is an upgrade for the room, but gave 4 stars because there was a small water leak from the bathroom. I went with my wife and had a wonderful time. All three meals were buffet and there was an excellent and a wide variety of food. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and accomodating. They attended even to minor details. We went to the spa for additional cost and it was above average. They have sauna, steam room and jacuzzi free of charge when you use spa. There was few local artists who are showcasing their talents and the good thing is that all what they earn goes directly to them without hotel cutting a comission. We bought a nice painting from one of the artists. Hotel staff was very flexible with our requests and it should earn extra points for sure. I had a wonderful stay (5 nights) at Cinnamon Bentota Beach with my family. It is a fantastic property with breathtaking sea views. The food offers an excellent variety, and the staff are exceptionally helpful, courteous, and always willing to assist. A special thanks to Guest Relation Officer Ms. Meena, who ensured that we had a comfortable and memorable stay. She took great care of all our requirements, making sure everything was attended to promptly and attention to detail. We are also thankful to Ms Dehami and Ms. Pabesara. Their hospitality truly made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Cinnamon Bentota Beach to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Sri Lanka.

We stayed at Cinnamon Bentota from 29th to 31st May and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and the facilities were excellent. Thank you to the entire team at Cinnamon Bentota for making our stay memorable. We look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Stayed at Cinnamon in Bentota during my Sri Lanka trip and it was a truly delightful resort experience that I’m very happy about and grateful for. My room faced the beach, so waking up to the sound and view of the sea made every morning feel special and truly like a holiday. The property has two beautifully maintained swimming pools that we really enjoyed. The pools and surrounding areas were very clean, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing with family. There are several restaurants inside the resort, and the food quality and variety comfortably meet both Indian and international standards, so guests from different countries can enjoy their stay without worrying about food choices. Although I don’t remember individual names, my heartfelt appreciation goes to the entire hotel staff. Everyone we interacted with was polite, warm, and genuinely helpful, which made us feel well taken care of from check-in to check-out. The gym and sports/play areas are also well set up, and the management organises daily activities for guests, adding fun and energy to the resort atmosphere. Another highlight is the number of water sports options available nearby. There are many companies offering activities like boat rides and other water adventures in the area, all quite close to the resort, and these are experiences you really should not miss. Combined with peaceful early-morning walks on the beach, this makes it a perfect place for both relaxation and adventure. Overall, this is a resort where you feel you made the right choice, and everyone visiting Bentota should strongly consider staying here for a memorable beach holiday

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel and can't recommend it highly enough! The location is breathtaking, set on an absolutely stunning beach that seems to stretch on forever. The endless shoreline, soft sand, and beautiful ocean views made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with stunning décor that creates a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. What truly sets this place apart is the first-class service. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, attentive, and eager to help make our stay absolutely perfect. You can tell they take great pride in creating an exceptional guest experience. The buffets are simply out of this world! The breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections were all outstanding, with an incredible variety of fresh, delicious options that exceeded our expectations every single day. We were especially fortunate to meet Lakmi when we arrived. She was incredibly personable, warm, and welcoming from the very beginning. Throughout our stay, she regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was perfect. Her kindness and genuine care made us feel less like guests and more like family. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back!
