French Quarter is by far our favorite Disney resort. It is quiet, quaint, and so well themed. There is only one bus stop so it doesn’t typically get too crowded in comparison to larger resorts with 4 or more stops. The pool is my kids favorite and has so many areas to spread out in. We love the dining options, especially beignets and coffee at Scat Cats. We had a preferred room near the dining, pool, and bus stop. We had an amazing view of the garden and fountain as well. The rooms themselves are so comfortable, well themed. We especially appreciate the double sinks and ceiling fan in the summer. This resort is great for families looking for some Disney theming but also wanting a big more relaxed and quiet atmosphere compared to other moderate level resorts.

We had a wonderful stay at French Quarter. The property fit our needs perfectly. The room was impeccably clean, staff was great (everyone we encountered had a smile on their face), and amenities were perfect. It is such a cute property, I liked the smaller scale compared to other Disney properties. 10/10, can't wait to come back!

This resort has such a special feeling to it! It is small, which is why we chose it. We had previously stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, which we also loved, but were hoping to have less walking to and from the dining hall and pools. This resort accomplished that for us! It is somehow both family oriented and appropriate for adults traveling without children. The pool was beautiful and never crowded, and we loved the beignets on site. The staff was always extremely polite and helpful also. They have a laundry facility on site, which came in handy! 10/10 would recommend!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter was absolutely wonderful! The resort is beautifully themed, peaceful, and full of charm. From the relaxing atmosphere to the gorgeous landscaping and jazz-inspired details, everything felt magical and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly, and transportation to the parks was easy and convenient. We especially loved the smaller size of the resort because everything was close by and never felt crowded. The boat ride to Disney Springs was such a fun bonus, and the Mickey beignets were amazing! This resort has the perfect mix of Disney magic and relaxing Southern charm. We had an incredible stay and cannot wait to come back!
