Floridays Resort Orlando

We were on a family holiday, 2 adults and 2 teenagers When we arrived we noticed it smelled really musty but we didn’t think much of how bad it actually was until we had to switch rooms which I will get to… in our first room in BOTH of the bathrooms the water kept dripping out of the shower head and leaving a pool of water in the shower which eventually spilled out into the floor which resulted in the floors being very slippy and a massive safety hazard. The water even came out from the bathrooms, through the bedroom and onto the kitchen. We kept falling over which could have caused an injury so we decided to ask to switch rooms which they were very hesitant about and took them a while to do but eventually they let us change. The lock on one of the bathroom doors would lock itself from the inside when no one was in there which we had to call someone to unlock it a few times and they were very slow to arrive to help us. When we first arrived we also noticed that the floors were dirty and had not been cleaned. We noticed the same thing with the floors in our next room but there was a much cleaner smell and the bathrooms were working so we took it as a win. After about 3 nights in the new room we all had spots on our bodies which were identical to bed bug bites (we of course cannot be certain but we are fairly sure it was bed bugs) which was a clear sign the room was dirty and beds had been sitting there for ages. The light is broken in one of the bedrooms so had to use a small lamp. The area is good walking distance to supermarkets and food places. And the pool is nice. Staff are nice but I wouldn’t stay here again tho

Nice place - especially if you are looking for an apartment style stay. Has a great big pool, full bar and pretty good diner. Week days are a lot calmer than the weekends, wish they would crack down on the riff raff and weed smoking at the pool though - hate that the kids and other families have to "just deal with it" as a norm. Otherwise - nice place for the price and location to all that Orlando has to offer.

A really nice place to stay on I-Drive but dated compared to some of the other hotels. We were a family of 5, so we had a 3 bed, 2 bath room with a fully fitted kitchen. Everything we needed and more! Pools are nice, plenty of sunbeds - the food is quiet expensive but lots of options around as an alternative!

Nightmare for light sleepers—loud location and unhelpful management We were assigned a room on the west side of Building C, right next to Daryl Carter Pkwy, and the traffic noise was so loud I couldn't sleep. After a sleepless first night, I went to the front desk to request a room switch. The manager told me they were fully booked and couldn't help. He also claimed that basically every building is loud—stating Building A faces the noisy pool area, Building B is right next to another road, etc. Look at it this way: if he was lying to get out of helping, their customer service is terrible. If he was telling the truth, the entire resort location is a nightmare for a light sleeper. Personally, I will never come back and absolutely do not recommend this resort if you value a quiet night's rest.

Lovely place two bedroom suite was perfect for us. Pool are great, bar and cafe on site open till 11pm. Staff are lovely and friendly. The rooms and equipment within are a tad tired but still decent. Difficult to get simple things from housekeeping. Other than that it’s great, would return Im a heartbeat. Great position between the parks if that’s your thing. Close to the premium outlets, if you fancy shopping and don’t have a car.
