Highly recommend this resort! This is definitely a place I would love to return to. The food is delicious, with a great variety to suit even the fussiest eaters. Although the resort offers five different restaurants, I especially enjoyed the buffet. The service is excellent—everyone is friendly, smiling, and always happy to help. There are multiple swimming pools and bars, so the resort never feels crowded, and it’s easy to find a free deck chair at any time. The rooms look great and are very well maintained, with housekeeping taking care of cleaning twice a day. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish!

I don’t usually leave negative reviews. I’m very understanding of how hospitality businesses operate and I prefer leaving positive feedback. But my experience at Dreams Flora Resort in Punta Cana was extremely stressful and, more importantly, felt dangerous to my health as someone with Celiac disease. Before arrival, my husband contacted the resort to explain my severe dietary restriction and ask about safe gluten-free options. The response we received was essentially that we’d have to “figure it out at the resort” and they couldn’t guarantee anything. This was already concerning, especially since the resort has online reviews suggesting gluten-free accommodations. When we arrived (on my birthday), our luggage was taken but not delivered to our room. We also were not given a tour, map, or clear direction—so we had to hunt for our building and room ourselves, which was not easy to locate. After waiting and calling multiple times, we finally received our luggage hours later. We were told we would be paired with a “food concierge” who would meet us at restaurants and oversee the process. It took hours to hear back, and I was very hungry after traveling all day. The concierge did assist the first night and the chef prepared food that was safe, and the meal was fine. However, we were then told the concierge would not be at the resort again until the day we left. I asked for recommendations or guidance before he left for the days he would be gone, and he agreed—but that never happened. The next day, I was unable to safely get breakfast or lunch because staff did not seem to understand cross-contamination, and I could not risk the consequences of being glutened. I went without eating, and I nearly passed out. Only after that happened were we paired with a second food concierge. She agreed to meet us at the restaurant we wanted for dinner, but she never showed up and stopped responding completely. We ultimately left the restaurant without eating. At that point, we went to the resort concierge out of desperation, and they finally found a manager who understood Celiac disease. The manager personally brought us to a different restaurant, worked directly with the chef, and helped ensure my meal was safe. This was the first time I felt there was a real plan. What made this even worse is that some workers chastised me for not eating, instead of understanding that I was trying to avoid a medical emergency. This was supposed to be a surprise birthday trip, and instead it became an exhausting, stressful experience filled with uncertainty. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their food safety process for guests with medical dietary restrictions so no one else has to go through this. The men at the concierge desk (Cesar and Rodolfo), as well as the manager who helped us on the second night were truly amazing. The restaurant servers were also very kind, just not knowledgeable, which comes down to their training not personality.

As I did, you will feel as a star in an awesome movie! If you don't like nature, beach or amazing staff, this place is definitely not for you. Every barman, wether it is at the lobby, the beach, the swim up bars are just dynamic and playful, adding a lot to the overall experience. It was my first in the Carribean and I don't think I'll be able to visit other places because I felt I was part of and inviting and overall welcoming experience. Of course, speaking Spanish with the staff is a must! (You can use Google translate, they will be amazed 😁) Thanks again Dreams Flora for the everlasting memories!

My experience with Unlimited Vacation Club Proceed with extreme caution when dealing with Unlimited Vacation Club. In June, during a presentation at Dreams Flora Punta Cana, I was told that the membership included no blackout dates, Preferred Club access, and that U-Experiences would offer meaningful discounts, including for a cruise I was planning. I specifically asked about these points before agreeing to the purchase. After returning the following month and staying at a different resort, I learned that Preferred Club access was not included, that certain months such as November, December, and March have blackout dates, and that U-Experiences did not apply to the cruise I was interested in. Although the company later stated that some of these conditions were “included in the contract,” I was never provided with a physical copy to review at the time of signing. The contract was shown only on an iPad, controlled by their representative, who navigated through the pages, skipped sections, and verbally explained the terms as they went. I was expected to rely on those explanations rather than being given the opportunity to independently read and understand the document myself. I also did not receive access to the online platforms or booking system until more than a week later, which meant I had no practical way to verify my actual benefits during the five-day cancellation period. By the time access was granted and the discrepancies became clear, that window had already passed. I used the membership only two (2) days. When I later attempted to cancel after discovering these issues, I was informed that I would need to pay almost $6,000 to cancel, despite the fact that the membership had barely been used. This was especially concerning because before signing, I clearly asked about the cancellation process and was told that if I decided to cancel, I would receive 50% of the amount paid back. I paid a $3,000 down payment and made no additional payments. After raising my concerns and requesting cancellation, I was informed that the account would move forward to collections, despite the limited use of the membership and the issues raised regarding how the agreement was presented. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that anyone considering this program take their time, read everything independently, and get all representations in writing before signing anything.

Dreams Flora was an amazing resort. The food options were great for all meals. Lots of restaurants and the buffet really is a wonderful spread. Desserts were awesome. Staff really take care of the guests both at restaurants and the bars. The pools were clean, lots of activities and fun for all ages. The water slides were terrific fun for people of all ages! The beach was lovely too! Lots of beach chairs, they tried cleaning up the seaweed many times which was really helpful and made it much more pleasant. Adjacent resorts had a ton of seaweed piled up so this made a really big difference to the appeal of the beach.
