Dreams La Romana was BEAUTIFUL! The pools were immaculate, the beaches were gorgeous, and the staff were absolutely incredible. There was so much to do! The water park was super fun, snorkelling was amazing, and the entertainment team — my goodness! There was always some sort of activity happening; the days had things like yoga, ping pong tournaments, a batting cage, and an inflatable obstacle course in the main pool. Nights were filled with impressive shows, DJ’s, and dance parties. The food was actually really tasty. We mostly ate at the buffet (Spice Market) because the food there was consistently amazing. The restaurants around the resort are fun to visit, but service seemed to be a bit slow and the food was always some version of what was being served at the buffet anyways, so the buffet was definitely our go-to. Special shout out to Yuliana on the entertainment team! She is so passionate about her job and really knows how to hype everyone up! She really made our experience memorable.

Absolutely stunning location for this hotel and spa. The staff is so kind, courteous and friendly. Dining choices include the buffet and several restaurants. Three of the dinner restaurants are for adults only. The buffet food was excellent and a great variety. The theme nights were fun such as the Mexican theme night. I enjoy fish and seafood and there was so much variety of both. The restaurants were varied, i.e. Peruvian, Italian.The pools were well maintained. The children's zone was so much fun for kids and adults. The slides and lazy river provided entertainment for adults as well as the smaller slides and fountains for the kids. The rooms were very clean and well maintined. I would definitely recommend the preferred club experience as everything is included and you feel spoiled. Will definitely go to another dreams resort.

The service is incredible. The people working at the hotel are all friendly and eager to serve. We enjoyed the chocolate that Marta Dino made for us every night, as well as Orquidea's attention to detail when cleaning our room.

We just returned from an incredible week at Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic, and we’re already talking about going back! We travelled from Canada and stayed in the Preferred Club — it was absolutely worth it. The entire resort is spotless and beautifully maintained. You can tell they take pride in keeping everything looking perfect. The staff were amazing — so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They made our whole family feel at home from day one. The drinks were fantastic (some of the best all-inclusive cocktails we’ve had), and the food was excellent for both adults and kids. There was always something delicious to choose from, and even our kids were excited about the meals. The ocean… wow. The colour is absolutely breathtaking — crystal clear, turquoise, and calm. It’s postcard perfect. The waterpark was a huge hit for our kids — and honestly, we loved it just as much. It added such a fun extra element to the trip. We also felt completely safe the entire time we were on the resort. Security presence was professional but not intrusive, and we felt comfortable letting the kids enjoy themselves while we relaxed. That peace of mind made the vacation even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a perfect family getaway — clean resort, incredible staff, great food and drinks, stunning ocean, and so much fun for the kids. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful little pearl. Rooms are nice, clean (AC could be a bit more strong). Service is great all around the resort, from room service, concierge, restaurants and bars. Water park for families is super fun. The open areas are beautifully maintained. The resort has been renovated lately and all old reviews do not apply anymore.
