My boyfriend & I went to this resort and had a great time. Before arriving here, I was nervous about the previous reviews but I’m glad i didn’t listen to them. The food was good, dinner wasn’t the best (japanese resturant our food was cold. Breakfast was great and lunch was hit or miss. Pools were great, a little frustrating that people kept leaving their towels to “reserve their spot” but i did see staff members pick up towels where they noticed people weren’t using them and i thought that was great. The entertainment group was great. We had a learning how to make guacamole class and margarita class and I did not expect that when arriving and that was so much fun. The entertainment group works very hard and definitely kept us entertained the whole time. The beach is beautiful. You have access to the excursions (Obviously, you have to pay extra but it’s reasonably priced). I felt very safe at this resort and I would totally recommend for other people to go. I do wish they would remodel the rooms our room was still great and the cleaning staff kept our room spotless. Shout out to: Fernando the server at the Mexican restaurant Alexandra who was singing one of the nights there Angie, Carlos & Jamie from the entertainment team Fernando from liquor

The staff were incredible, the rooms were spotless, and the food was great. The beach is beautiful with plenty of seating and never felt crowded. I felt extremely safe and comfortable the entire time. A special shoutout to Jose at the café for going above and beyond—his kindness really stood out. We had a wonderful, stress-free stay and would definitely return!

I had an amazing time here! The guest service, in every area of this resort, was 10/10! You can tell that whoever runs this place believes 100% in perfect customer service! I enjoyed the hospitality all the way around as well as the food, also the cleanliness. I loved my room and the resort itself is BEAUTIFUL! The photos and videos I saw online didn’t do it any justice at all! I would definitely go back! There’s also events going on that are super cool too. S/O to the best server I had, Jorge!

Would stay again. Positives: Beach and sea were great (no waves and pure white sand) Mexican food served in the main buffet was great everyday with lots of nice spicy salsas We did the preferred club and we were pleased we did. You get the Mexican restaurant offered for breakfast, drinks and food service to your beach beds, a lounge bar on the first floor which does good drinks Staff were very friendly Entertainment was good as it was varied and in different locations meaning you could get involved or not Included water spots was great Negatives : I have a dairy allergy. After telling the host and also waiter I still had items with butter in meaning I was very ill the first two nights. After speaking with management the outcome was I needed to talk to the chef before every meal to understand what was in each dish. This was a little exhausting, however it worked. The staff were very friendly and helpful with this The Asian restaurant wasn’t good if you like Asian food! We heard the same about the Italian so we didn’t even try. The grill and Mexican restaurants were good though

I would like to start by saying Cancun is Mexican Vegas. If you don't like Vegas, do not go to Cancun. My husband and I were looking for a quiet beach getaway with a ocean front balcony to relax and recoup from the excessive working we do. That is not what we got. Though there isn't gambling available, these resorts are MASSIVE and loud with bumping music constantly. Our ocean view room which was supposed to have a balcony, had a wondow that did not open and we could still hear music all day all the time. From the moment you step foot on the property, they are attempting to up sell you on everything. Hyatt member club, spa treatments, the preferred area, special wine at dinner that's not included, cabanas on the beach, etc. The idea was to arrive and put your wallet away, not the case. Tipping culture is vague, no one could tell us what's expected as well. Everything is over priced (i.e a bottle of sunscreen was $40). The beds are very hard amd pillows very small. We ordered 2 extra duvets to lay over the sheets to soften it and it worked. They will bring more pillows if you ask. The restaurants are okay. The breakfast is fantastic and the sushi joint is okay for one night. Portions are very small so order many. We definitely got tired of the food quickly though and ordered Uber eats or went into the party district for tacos. There aren't any decent tacos on site. The included unlimited room service is very nice though, even with the very limited and sometimes inaccurate menu. (Like you may get hashbrowns instead of beans like the menu says). They frequently run out of beach towels and people reserve chairs with used towels for hours so it's very hard to find a place to lounge (we went in Feb which is supposed to be the off season). They don't seem to have a system in place for not allowing space reservation. You have to get up fairly early to find a place to lounge. There is barely any beach at this resort and the beach they have is covered in umbrellas that do not retract so if you're looking for sun, good luck. They do have a singular hot tob that is always overrun with children and is maybe lukewarm. I did not find the pools to be warm enough for the weather. I'm sure in the summer they are fantastic. There is a really nice open beach as part of the condos next door (if you're facing the ocean to the left) that you can walk through the preferred area to get to that is really nice. No chairs to use but you can take the beach towels over there and get some quiet white sand experience. Pictures with orange / red towels are the preferred area. You have the pay extra to use that quiet pool and sandy beach area. For some folks, this might be a really nice getaway. For us, it was not what we thought we were getting.
