Excellent customer service, staff were friendly and polite, and really made us welcome. Location is a short 20m from the airport, near the beach and a short walk from the town. It is worth noting that the hotel is directly under the flight path, so you will see and hear planes overhead. The food was as expected for an all inclusive, some of the nights were better than others. Lunch and breakfast were reliable. The main area for improvement is the service to the rooms, they should provide bottled water daily. We consistently found ourselves thirsty and having to plan evening trips to the bars to get water. Some of the towels provided had holes and tears to them and were not clean enough - the attention to detail isn't there. The free roaming cats were lovely, and it was nice to see the local wildlife in the hotel grounds, such as hedgehogs.

Everything was amazing, the food, the service (particularly youseff) and especially the animation team! They were amazing and looked after the kids and built such an amazing bond with the kids over the 11 days. Can't thank them enough... The entertainment every night was fantastic even for adults. After we got home we started coming out in bites all over our bodies including my two young children. My husband then told me that he had seen bed bugs on the bed but didn't tell me because our holiday was almost over and I would have freaked out! Doctors have confirmed that they are bed bug bites. We stayed in room 356. The hotel grounds and pool areas are nice but the corridors look shabby and have wallpaper peeling off. We went in may half term and there wasn't enough staff. We felt sorry for the waiters/bar workers because they were overworked and mostly miserable. The food was ok, varied but sometimes cold. The Aircon in the room barely worked despite someone coming out to "fix it". Plenty of problems with this hotel and it definitely isn't 4*.

We've been to elba hotels before and this has to be the best. While the weather wasn't the best, our week was made by the animation team (entertainment). They put on a fab disco every night with their own entertainment shows and a variety of performers. The kids love them and they work very hard to put on a fantastic show every night! Thanks for making our week extra special, and thanks for all the effort you put into entertaining the kids and us adults too. All staff have been warm, welcoming and very accommodating. We would certainly visit an Elba hotel again as we've always received great customer service.

A large resort complex with everything you could wish for. If a poolside sunny holiday is for you then this could be it. All inclusive available but go easy if you want to keep your figure! The staff, from reception through housekeeping to entertainment work with superb energy and commitment. The mini-disco to songs from the shows to pool games and laughter; all provided with a smile and gusto. Well done Elba Sara!
