This is our second visit to The Elysium, and we weren't disappointed again! Besides the excellent food, facilities & proximity to the lovely beach, this hotel has to be recommended for it's customer support & service. All the staff are so helpful in the well organised dining areas, thank you to all the staff ( and especially Mannolis & Michael) in the bars and grounds. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was well serviced daily, and was always clean. Special mention again to Elton, the beach Supervisor, who is magnificent. This hotel has brilliant disabled access in all areas, and noticeably on the beach, where Elton & his team go out of their way to ensure anyone with mobility issues are fully supported, even using a new motorised beach chair to help those in wheelchairs, access the shale beach to the beautiful, clear blue sea. It makes for a wonderful, carefree, relaxing stay. Highly recommend this hotel if you want a complete "chill out" holiday, in extremely clean, & beautiful surroundings, with brilliantly friendly staff. Can't wait to return next year!

Fabulous Pampering is absolutely amazing here. Beautiful property and excellent guest services. Dining at Emerald restaurant afforded endless food options. Manolis is the service manager and without a doubt a key to keeping people happy and staff organized. We loved him. Our premium sea view room #2117 was newly remodeled. Gorgeous view of the pool, manicured grounds and sea. This resort is definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

We had the most amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were approachable, helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and serviced frequently. We chose to get an elite room and loved the extras you got (a bottle of wine in the fridge at the start of your stay, chocolates on our pillows and a great view of the sea, to name a few!) There was also an elite lounge with free snacks and drinks which was always quite quiet and chilled. The views over the pool (which changes colour with lights in the evening) or over the sea are absolutely beautiful. We found that while there were people about and certain areas for sunbathing filled quicker than others (especially under the trees!) we never struggled to find a spot by the sea or pool and the hotel had quite a chilled atmosphere. Plenty of places to eat (slightly pricey but good quality) and the breakfast included was delicious and varied. We also really enjoyed the entertainment in the evenings! So many things to love about this hotel and would highly recommend to others.

Just perfect. It was so lovely to be the last hotel in a long row of other hotels - this meant we had great access to Rocky bits of sea which are perfect for snorkelling. The food and cocktails were OUTSTANDING. I highly recommend getting a room in the ‘elite’ part of the hotel for a special rooftop breakfast, wine on arrival, olive oil to take home, and a ‘elite only’ reception lounge where there are all inclusive drinks and snacks. Everything in the rooms worked perfectly, and the staff were all kind and accommodating. The pool is clean and large. Family friendly, but not overrun with screaming children.

Visited here with my wife and in laws on the 11/10/25 and got back on the 19/10/25. We did have a pretty good time and majority of staff were all very friendly. Our rooms were cleaned daily and the bed was super comfortable. The view from our room was amazing been right on the beach. The spa is truly fantastic and with the heated outside pool and jacuzzi. We had a couple of massages. 1 been the deep muscle massage which will truly feel like your about to be broken, so it does exactly what it says. My wife then had the inner calm massage and certainly agrees with the name. One of the best massages she's had and got all the tension points. It was nice that they put on a photographer on some evenings to capture your arrival at dinner which was located outside of the Emerald buffet room. The food most days was different so it wasn't too boring with lots on offer and certainly tasted great. But also on the evenings you got served the main course meal from a menu but if you didn't like it you still had the buffet option. The on site shop was excellent and if you didn't really want to leave the hotel you certainly could pick up everything from there from souvenirs, papers, clothes and drinks. Maybe just not anything for lunch. There is a on site cash machine in the hotel but I was charged €7.50 for with drawing money. Also on site rental car company so the hotel does have a lot of accommodating features. Now we get to the bad points. If you did not have dinner within the first hour the more premium desserts was never re-stocked for everyone to enjoy. This happened on at least 3 occasions which was highly disappointing and when asking a staff member they just said there is no more. Service from the waiters was excellent and took your finished plates and glasses very quickly. Service from the waiters was not always consistent and from a 5* hotel that is a minimum requirement. Drinks were not the best depending on what you was having. A massive wine selection at dinner but at the lounge bar the menu was much smaller and all cocktails had far too little flavour and far too much ice in every single drink. But a good point was they did make drinks that were not on the menu. Entertainment was okay but some acts that were said to be outside never were and no one told you unless you asked. The only entertainment was music and nothing else. Then the real bad point that almost the spoiled the holiday. We had organised this holiday with Jet2. Now you get a text to say about your pick up time and to be ready 5 minutes before. I had told concierge quite specifically that if the JET2 coach arrives to find us by the lobby immediately. I heard a coach pull up and could see people were getting off and this was 5-10 minutes before our scheduled pick up time. I then also noticed another coach at the front I saw it say JET2 so I rush inside to get the bags along with everyone else. Max 30 seconds come back out and the coach had gone. Concierge not once came over to us to say it had arrived early or any form of warning/notification. So I would say concierge service from a 5* hotel was absolutely shocking and abysmal. He then claimed when challenged about it that he had no knowledge of anyone waiting on a JET2 coach. All the hotel did for us in response was call a taxi that we had to pay for and claim back from JET2. There was no going above and beyond. If I was to come back to Rhodes I may not stop at this hotel again with the terrible concierge service or lack of and his attitude. I'd go elsewhere. Value for money I cannot fault. Maybe certain items were a little more expensive than what they should be compared to other 5* hotels I've stopped at before.
