Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Family Selection at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro. The resort facilities are modern, recently renovated and generally well maintained. Our room was very spacious, modern and comfortable, with a layout that worked particularly well for a family. The only point I would improve is the bed comfort, which did not quite match the standard expected from a premium resort. Housekeeping service was good and consistent throughout the stay. Food quantity and variety were more than adequate, although quality was sometimes lacking. The à la carte restaurants offered a noticeably better dining experience and more attentive service than the buffets. Regarding Family Selection, I am not convinced it provided significant added value compared with the standard Select experience. Whether it is worth it depends entirely on the price difference. The main benefit seems to be access to a private pool, although we noticed guests without Family Selection access using this area as well. There is also an exclusive breakfast area, but the food selection appeared to be exactly the same as in the regular Select buffet. The evening entertainment was disappointing. For a resort of this size, the shows were generally weak or, on some evenings, practically non-existent. The butler service also felt largely absent. We only saw our assigned butler once or twice during the entire stay, the last time being at departure when he came to collect a tip. The most negative aspect of our experience was the Travel Club sales operation. Unfortunately, I had encountered this before at another hotel. The sales representatives are extremely persistent and create a feeling that is uncomfortably close to a scam. They are not transparent about their intentions and use misleading tactics. In our case, we were invited to meet someone presented as our concierge, only to discover it was a sales presentation for the Travel Club membership. This wasted valuable vacation time and was especially frustrating while travelling with young children. The lack of respect for guests' time was disappointing and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. In summary, the resort itself is attractive, modern and enjoyable, but some of the premium Family Selection benefits are overstated and the Travel Club sales approach significantly detracts from the overall guest experience.

Our stay at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro was unfortunately a big disappointment. The hotel grounds themselves are beautiful and well maintained, but the rooms are in very poor condition. They feel worn out, poorly maintained and in some cases defective. Even the supposedly newer and more expensive rooms have serious issues. In our case, for example, the hot water in the bathtub didn’t work, which made the advertised jacuzzi completely useless. What was even more frustrating was how the hotel handled our complaint. We asked several times to change rooms because the condition of the room was simply not acceptable. Even after multiple requests and a complaint to management, nothing was done. Only on the last day of our trip were we finally given another room – which of course was practically pointless at that stage. The overall service is weak. Problems are often ignored or only addressed after repeated requests, and even then usually in a half-hearted way. We also repeatedly had the impression that Spanish-speaking guests were treated preferentially, while other guests received noticeably less attention. The food was also disappointing. The quality was mediocre and many dishes were sometimes even served cold. For a resort in this price category, the value for money is simply not acceptable. We would definitely not stay here again.

My trip to the Grand Palladium Select Bávaro was wonderful. From the start to the end, the service was exceptional. It was personalized and tailored to the needs of myself and my girlfriend. Our host, Wolgang, was amazing and made the trip all the more special. He handled all of our resort bookings and even went above and beyond to add a personalized touch for the celebration of my girlfriend’s birthday. His generosity and accommodations were unmatched. The hotel/resort was beautiful and had everything would have wanted for a relaxing getaway. The food at the resort was good and the entertainment was great as well — especially the Chic Cabaret experience. The resort was well maintained and very clean. The pool amenities and beach were terrific as well. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing vacation. Once again, Wolgang, helped to ensure that the stay was wonderful and to our liking. Having service such as this at the resort, definitely puts it over the top!

Expectations were surpassed beyond measure. Traveled to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and it was an amazing experience. Hotel was spotless and the staff was amazing, friendly and professional. We were greeted by Indry and Rigoberto who checked us in and gave us a great overview of what was to come. After that we met Hector, amazing human being, he was great, extremely professional and efficient, he helped us get restaurant reservations, facilitated transport inside the villas, decorated our room to surprise my wife on her birthday; words hardly do any justice to his level of work. Then the pool, the staff at the pool were amazing, they provided an excellent atmosphere and helped us have a blast. Narez, Elizabeth, Fidelina and Carlos were simply incredible. The restaurants provided a huge amount of options, The Nest was a great option and the manager Angel went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience. Las Torres was another great option and our waitress Karina was great, she was energetic, enthusiastic and had a great attitude. And then we have two of the most charismatic workers we met La Tulca and Barbie Black; we found them everywhere, in the nightly shows, leading water aerobics at the pool, providing a great atmosphere everywhere they went, they were great. The experience was so amazing I was sad I had to leave, I'll definitely come back with the family for a longer stay.

The resort staff was wonderful and the butlers did a fantastic job reserving our group of 13 spots for dinner, archery classes, and other activities. Constantino was an amazing lobby ambassador and even gave us a private archery lesson! The kids loved working with him and he made the class very easy for everyone to learn. The resort is very clean and the shuttle service makes it easy to explore the whole resort
