This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Goa. The property is right at the beach (though the beach is not a bathing beach but you can still enjoy in water). Beach is accessible from the hotel in 1 min. The hotel itself is very good and nice. Rooms are spacious, we had a beach facing room, so the view were absolutely stunning But what makes this the better of the lot is the service, this shows how a differentiated service can totally elevate your stay We travelled with a 4 month old and were greeted with warm smiles and caring hands always. Everyone at hotel speak of top service, right from kesar and nitika at front desk and Tamara and Ashruti, who would be welcoming with a big smile, to Jitendra in house keeping who would leave behind amazing towel art, to devdutt, Vishal, rahul and Gulam in restaurant who would always treat us with something new. There were many many more people, this is just few people who we met little more frequently than others. And on top was the manager Delli, she was at all the places all the time, ensuring everything is run like a an amazing machine but still with a gentle human touch. the complete lot deserves an applause.

We stayed at Goa Marriott Resort & Spa in the first week of January and had a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and always eager to help. The beachfront location gives the resort a great ambience, and the pool area is beautiful and very well maintained. Service at both the pool and the restaurant was excellent- attentive, efficient, and always with a smile. It’s also worth mentioning that the resort is very child-friendly, with an excellent kids’ play area, which was a big help as I was looking after my toddler daughter during our stay. Overall, a fantastic stay with great hospitality. Special mention to Racheal from the reception team and Delana Pai for making our stay truly enjoyable. Would happily return and highly recommend.

Dear Management Team, As loyal Marriott members since 2004, this is the first time we feel compelled to give negative feedback after our recent visit to the Waterfront Restaurant at Goa Marriott Resort & Spa. While the property is beautiful, the location excellent, and the rooms and housekeeping commendable, the food quality and kitchen supervision were deeply disappointing. The buffet food was sour and appeared to be reused, raising serious food safety concerns. Although a fresh portion was prepared for me after I complained, the buffet dish itself was not replaced, allowing other guests to continue being served the same unacceptable food. This reflects a major lapse in quality control. Additionally, the Assistant Chef’s attitude was unprofessional, and there was a clear lack of supervision. Ast Chef appeared rushing to close the buffet without informing guests. No proactive guest interaction or quality checks were observed. We have experienced far better standards at The Westin Goa, where chefs actively seek guest feedback and maintain excellent service standards. It is concerning to see such a decline here. Immediate corrective action and stronger chef involvement are necessary to restore Marriott’s brand standards. I look forward to your prompt response. Thank you.

Things which were good: 1. Hotel staff in general were very polite and courteous 2. It was right at the sea, views were great 3. At the heart of Panjim. If you want to stay in Panjim this is a great place 4. Two swimming pools, divides the crowd. The pool bar at the main pool was good, with the staff there very warm and hospitable I’m a Silver member of Marriott Bonvoy and yet faced these issues: 1. Rooms upon checkin were allotted at 4.30pm, way beyond the standard check in time. 2. To compensate they did offer a late checkout, but it was not communicated with the team as I would get a call or a knock every 15 min to check out, which was quite harrowing 3. Service was quite slow for a-la-carte food at their main restaurant 4. It’s connected to Miramar Beach, but it’s not a private beach. Moreover one can’t swim in that beach as firstly strong currents, secondly a very high frequency of tour boats. So in effect, can’t enjoy the beach and it’s a very busy beach hence, not that private Overall for the price we were paying, it didn’t feel like a wholesome 5 star experience. Rather choose other resorts for that price
