I’m currently staying at Grand Hyatt Goa, and honestly, the experience has been mixed for me. The property itself is beautiful — very green, well maintained, and the views of Bambolim Bay are genuinely lovely. But personally, I haven’t found the stay as relaxing as I expected. The overall environment feels quite structured and rule-heavy rather than easygoing. If you’re travelling with a pet, it’s worth knowing in advance that movement is quite restricted. Pets aren’t allowed near poolside areas, restaurants, the lobby, or several internal pathways. I understand the reasons behind this, but being stopped multiple times while simply walking outside did feel uncomfortable and took away from the holiday mood. The biggest frustration for me has been the payment process. I had already shared my credit card details in advance to avoid any issues at check-in. Still, I was asked to present the card again and was charged upfront for the full stay. During the first attempt, the transaction didn’t go through due to a bank issue, but when they tried again immediately, it went through successfully. However, after that initial decline, things became uncomfortable. I was asked for an additional ₹20,000 credit hold specifically for in-room dining, even after the full stay amount had already been charged. Initially, I was told I could settle food bills together at checkout, but later I was asked for this extra hold without a clear explanation. I even offered to pay in cash to avoid any delays or confusion, but was told it wasn’t necessary and that everything was sorted. Despite that, throughout the stay, even for small orders like a glass of juice, I’ve been asked to settle the bill immediately with a card machine instead of charging it to the room. It makes the experience feel unnecessarily uncomfortable and far less seamless than expected from a hotel of this level. In comparison, during my earlier stays at Taj Goa, I didn’t face this situation, which felt more relaxed and guest-friendly. Service has also felt slow at times. A few requests took longer than expected, and I often felt it was better to order well in advance rather than last minute. I’m not sure if it’s due to staffing levels or just busy periods, but it did affect the overall comfort. The resort is also quite spread out, so there’s a fair amount of walking between rooms, restaurants, and open areas. Some guests may enjoy that, but if you’re looking for a very effortless and laid-back break, it can feel tiring after a while. At certain moments, I personally felt that service attention seemed uneven across guests. That could just be situational, but it added to the feeling that the experience wasn’t always consistent. To be fair, the staff themselves are polite and professional, and the natural setting here is genuinely beautiful. But overall, for me, the stay hasn’t felt as relaxed and seamless as I had hoped. It’s a stunning property, but I would say it suits families or guests who enjoy structured resort environments more than those looking for a very quiet, low-disturbance holiday.

This hotel has third class service standards, we are 6 people and for the last 2 hours we are running from one corner to the other. Half of the team is trainee and not trained properly they don’t know the process they are highly unresponsive and one department does not what the other department is facing and be aware of you are booking garden facing room they will give you wall facing room saying it’s a garden facing room the ACs are not working in the corridors and the team is not efficient. And we are their direct customers ( members) imagine what will they do with regular guest, 6 of us came to the hotel to have a wonderful holiday but it started with suffering

It was a family holiday trip. We stayed at this property for 6 days. We had a 7 months old lap baby also. We requested to accommodate us in a room with quiet surroundings and good view. Same was promptly organised. Everything about the property is exquisite. From rooms to food to the hospitality, everything was just perfect. I would like to make special mention of Mr Vijay (Long stay guest relations manager), Shashank, Shalini, Shailesh, Ashish and Elonbeni (at the "The Dining Room" restaurant) who took great care of us, thereby making our trip truly memorable. Only issue with the property is, conduct of a lot of marriages, which sometimes affect the use of all the hotel amenities and of course cause discomfort to people who come for a quiet retreat. Overall, it was a lovely experience for us.

Our stay at Grand Hyatt Goa was nothing short of exceptional. Everything about the property felt regal yet incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and thoughtful, making us feel truly welcomed. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. What truly stood out for us was the food & the service— absolutely outstanding. Each restaurant offered a unique experience, and every meal was delicious, well-presented, and memorable. Grand Hyatt Goa strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. It’s a place where you can unwind, indulge, and feel taken care of. We left with wonderful memories and would love to return again.

A Beautiful Evening at The Verandah – Grand Hyatt Goa Visited the Grand Hyatt Goa earlier this evening and had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Verandah. The ambiance was perfect, the food was delightful, and the entire place felt so warm and welcoming. A special mention to Anamika, who managed our table so beautifully. Her hospitality, attentiveness, and friendly nature truly elevated our experience. The service was absolutely awesome! Overall, a beautiful experience — one that we’ll definitely remember. Highly recommend!
