ITC Grand Goa a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa

No doubt ITC offers a very luxurious stay but there were some ups and some downs during the stay. I would start with the ups first. Positives: 1. Rooms - Beautifully designed rooms. Just perfect and comes with great view too. 2. Location & property - Huge property with very good location and view. Very clean beach. 3. Housekeeping service - To be honest we had some issues with room cleaning earlier but the service that Utkarsh provided later made it the best service we ever had. He was on top of everything and made sure we and our 12 month baby had wonderful and comfortable time there. They even provided us customised pillows with our names on it. 4. Birthday prep - My daughter was turning 1 yr old and for this occasion we were in goa. Saniya from guest services planned it well. She took our family photos for birthday decoration and placed cards in room. She also provided us room upgrade and made our check in really smooth. Even Sujata from reception was very helpful Downs: 1. Food - I'm not sure if the food over here is prepared according to foreigners taste or what but we really did not like the food here. We had buffet breakfast and dinner and lunch as well in pavilion restaurant, but nothing was good or authentic. 2. Restaurant staff - I'm not sure if it gets too busy or overwhelming for the staff here but the service is not good. The person allocating the tables talks to you as if she is doing a favor on you by allocating a table. On my daughters birthday we went at 10am for breakfast and my daughter was dressed for her birthday, my mom and dad were already inside having breakfast but she wouldn't let us in and neither was she kind enough to wish one. She was behaving as if she is one who is paying and staying as a guest in hotel and throwing tantrums. 3. Delay in birthday prepartion - Unfortunately Saniya was out on our daughter's birthday and other guest service staff was not able to handle it well. There was a lot of delay in the room decoration which we requested in morning and no one came in. I had to request multiple times to atleast get it started by 2pm and by the time it finished my daughter was so cranking and not in a mood for celebration at all. My daughters birthday could have been way better if I would have stayed somewhere else I felt.

Mahavir Sancheti

I stayed here for my daughter’s birthday celebration. The resort is really beautiful with a great landscape and a beach that feels untouched and is accesible 24*7. Breakfast was great but just a small suggestion to add a bit more variety in the breaksfast menu. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the staff were extremely warm and helpful. Swimming pool and beach access was the highlight. Holi party was excellent. As the property is huge room service took a little more time but overall it was great. Just a small suggestion is to improve the waiting time for some services.

The resort is really beautiful and has a lovely landscape with a beach front. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The food in the Pavilion all day restaurant is awesome. The service is great. I would like to especially thank Mr Tresden who served us with a smile and made us feel like a part of the family of ITC. It was an overall very nice experience we had at the resort and would certainly look forward for an opportunity to visit again. Thanks to all the staff of ITC Grand who made our stay awesome. I had an amazing stay at ITC Grand Goa. The property is beautiful, spread across lush greenery with direct access to the serene Arossim Beach. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and extremely comfortable with great views and premium amenities. The hospitality was outstanding staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to help, making the experience truly memorable. The food was excellent with a wide variety of options across multiple restaurants, and the breakfast spread was particularly impressive.. special mentions to fayuna muriel

Stayed here for a single night and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was extremely spacious and came with a large private balcony. The reception staff was courteous and personally escorted us to the room, taking the time to explain the in-room amenities and features. The room itself felt luxurious, with rich finishes and thoughtful additions such as a coffee maker. The bathroom was particularly impressive, featuring a sunken bathtub as well as an outdoor shower. The water pressure was excellent, making the warm shower especially enjoyable. The hotel’s Portuguese-inspired architecture, with its piazzas and charming bridges, adds to the character of the property. It also offers direct access to Arrosim Beach, which is pristine and peaceful. We truly enjoyed spending time there during sunset. There is also a specialty Royal Afghan restaurant located by the beach. We opted for the buffet dinner, and the food quality and flavours were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the starters, main course and dessert. Special mention for the tasteful pav bhaji and the bajara phirni. The only downside during our stay was the spa at Kaya Kalp. The spa beds were made of wood/cane and were not very comfortable, and the spa staff did not seem particularly well trained. This is one area where the hotel could certainly improve. The staff overall was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was very sumptuous, with a wide variety of options. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the property.
