Grand Sirenis was absolutely amazing, my boyfriend and I had zero complaints and enjoyed every second of our trip. The food was amazing, the buffets had a great variety and the food was always fresh. We had no complaints towards the buffet. The al la cart restaurants were also fantastic, we went to the steak house, hibachi, Mediterranean, and Brazilian. The only one we didn’t fully enjoy was the Brazilian as the service was slow, appetizers/ sides were very limited and not very flavourful…the meat came around and was just chicken and pork, there was no red meat. The portions were also very small. On the other hand the steak house was absolutely amazing, we would honestly eat there every night if we could. The steak was cooked perfectly, the appetizer was also great, and the staff were so nice and friendly. The beach was also absolutely beautiful, just make sure to go down early if you want an umbrella besides that there are always chairs available as the beach is huge. The rooms were very clean, and spacious. Housekeeping was always very good and did an amazing job, Marcia was our housekeeper for the week…she was so nice and even decorated our room for us. The water park was absolutely amazing and was so fun for all ages, they had 4 slides that were working and only 2 that were closed but I think it was because short staff, it was still a lot of fun and also really kid friendly as well. When booking an excursion, go to Marcus as he is so sweet and really helpful with showing all options, he’s located in front of the plaza. The drinks were also fantastic, the lobby bar at night had great drinks, but during the day the bartenders were a bit lazy…they weren’t as nice/friendly and the drinks weren’t as good as they were at night. The beach bar was our favourite…Edward made fantastic drinks! Overall this was an amazing experience, we would 100% recommend it to everyone we know, and will be coming back.

Everything about this place was awesome. The customer service was great! There was so much to explore. You and your family’s can go around the resort and look for stuff to do. There is water parks, a theater, and so much more! The food is great and everything is amazing. You should definitely visit this place, trust me it’s worth going here. 🌺🌴🏝️

We did not know much about Grand Serenis when we booked; however, it was a pleasant surprise. Good waterpark for the kids of all ages, great beach, nice grounds, large pool. Completely separate pools spread out would have been nice, but the single large pool was broken up into sections so you could sit at a busier/active area or choose to go somewhere more quiet. While nothing we ate was truly exceptional, the food was adequate for a family of foodies. Buffets were best soon after opening as much of the food would tend to be not hot. What was really nice was that there were lots of daytime food options. Sit down buffet, but better yet was the walk up beach barbecue and the buffet, which was great for the kids to grab food whenever they wanted without having to dry off and get dressed. The rooms were a bit dated and small, but given that we spent a little time there it was fine. Entertainment options were good and had both indoor and outdoor event events. The water was great, clear and lots of fish. Maybe resorts along the beach don’t was nice to walk along in either direction. All staff that we encountered were welcoming, attentive and nice. Honourable mentions go to Ashlee (guest services), Mario & Yessica (ULC pool bar and area) and Carlos & Jose (cocktail bar)

We had a great time in this hotel, the location is very nice, with clean beach and lots of room to be. The hotel grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the pool as well. Their entertainment group is awesome, from the morning at the pool with games, music and engaging with the guests to the night show (one different every night), they were very nice. Our kids loved the kids club too.

Black Diamond, Omega and the rest of the ULC pool entertainment crew keep us very well engaged and entertained! They are fun, kind and very accommodating of all three languages (French, English and Spanish) of the guests around the pool. The circus show with elastic man and crew was awesome, foam party was great too! Lots to see and do around the resort Food at the ULC restaurant is great, a la cartes have been good, non-alcoholic drinks are plentiful, can't speak for alcohol as I don't drink, but my husband seems happy with them. Dolores, our coffee guy, is the best of the best! It's not hard to find a shady spot at ULC pool or beach area even if you show up later in the day. Kids have had a ball floating, making sandcastles, snorkeling to see fish, etc. Most people in this part of the resort are from Europe, Canada, Puerto Rico, etc, it's been lovely. Our family suite is a bit worn/dated and damp (I think this is typical in this climate, swimsuits don't even dry in 12 hours when hung outside in the sun), but the air conditioning works very well and we hardly spend any time in our room anyway! As a low maintenance, Canadian family of five, it is more than adequate for us. Our housekeeper, Amelia, has been fantastic, anticipating some of our extra needs without us having to ask (extra water, soft drinks and towels are even replenished after we all shower to go to our evening a la carte reservations.) A few tips (1-5 USD) here and there go a very long way here! You will get great service if you are appreciative, kind, and patient. Cheers to 4 more days of wonderful, relaxing vacation!
