Harrah’s has one big thing going for it: location. Smack in the middle of the Strip, you can walk just about anywhere without needing an Uber or hiking boots. For convenience alone, it’s hard to beat. That said, the property itself feels a little… tired. Some areas show their age, and the overall vibe doesn’t quite match the newer, shinier resorts nearby. The rooms are fine, but not especially memorable. The casino floor works, but it could definitely use some refreshing to bring back that spark. Service is generally okay, nothing spectacular. It gets the job done, but it’s not exactly red-carpet treatment either. Now the upside: I usually do pretty well at the tables and slots here. For whatever reason, the games have been kind to me, and that always helps improve the experience. Winning has a funny way of making older carpet look better. So overall: not the most glamorous spot on the Strip and definitely due for some upgrades, but the location is excellent and if the games treat you right, it can still be a solid Vegas stay. 🎲💵

Mid-Budget hotel. Stayed at Mountain Tower and the room experience sucked. AC was not working but thankfully the outside weather was not summer hot. Previously stayed at the Valley Tower and rooms were newer/had a refresh and much better compared to my Mountain View stay. Location: Almost center strip and close to just about anything in the area. VIP services were amazing. Big thanks to Stephanie (Casino Host) and Elisa (VIP services) for taking care of my requests.

Diamond check in was a breeze and greeted with champagne upon arrival. Checked in early At 1:30p and no early check in fee was charged. Room was clean and comfortable with a strip view. Room 26003 in the valley tower was close to elevator and vending. Cocktail service was very good on the floor. I was treated rudely by a slow, older, grumpy Hispanic male bartender (I think his name was Vincent) wearing a raiders janikowski jersey. All of the beer taps were not working. All drinks were served in plastic cups. Not a real cocktail glass was served in the 3 days I was there. I asked for real glasses for my room and was told “we don’t offer that amenity”. I rembember the old Vegas when diamond players were never told NO! 2 sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches were over $30 at the food hall. The noodles shop in the food hall was very good. Shrimp fried rice, Mongolian beef was delicious. Slots, Casino: very good. NFL playoffs were on several tv’s throughout the casino. Slots were paying good. We loved the big Elvis show and all of the free shows in the piano bar. Great little bar with good service and good music. I would ask Harrahs management to look at the rude bartenders who are not fast and friendly and proactively asking customers with a smile, “can I offer you a drink?” Take care of your customers or someone else will. Valet was outstanding, fast and friendly. We miss the old Oyster bar, Toby Keith’s bar and grill And the buffet. Too much change is not good. Tip: bring real wine or cocktail glasses for your room. We had paper cups😩. Location is walkable to Sphere shows through Venetian located next door (who does have real cocktail glasses ).

I recently stayed here for a work trip and will not be back. This is a review of the hotel room specifically, not the casino or dining options. Within my first 24-hours I had to have maintenance to the room twice, and over the next three days had a couple other things I could have called about but decided to ignore. The room was a good size, and it was nice that there was both a fridge and a keurig coffee maker, though it would have been better if there was ever coffee in the room even with four days of servicing. Hotel beds are always difficult, if you're a soft bed person you'll be perfectly happy, if you like a firm mattress you are out of luck. I do appreciate that there were two types of pillow on the bed to pick from. The counter top mini-bar provided some nice options, if you don't mind $12 for a can of soda that you can get pre-chilled from a vending machine down the hall for $3. I understand there is a cost to convenience, but a $9 upcharge for an in-room warm can of soda basically encapsulates my entire feeling about this hotel. It feels designed to extract as much money from you as possible. Call me old fashioned, but that's the job of the casino, at which I spent plenty of money and had a good time doing it, not the hotel room. It's a shame that Harrah's/Caesars is doing so poorly financially that they aren't able to perform basic preventative maintenance on the rooms and instead rely on guests to report issues, and need to charge so much for such small conveniences to keep up the bottom line. I have stayed in much better maintained rooms, for much less money, and any return to Las Vegas will not involve this hotel.

Stayed at Harrah’s Las Vegas and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Every time I left my room and came back, the room smelled strongly like weed. I don’t smoke weed myself and actually don’t fancy the smell of it. I called to report the issue, hoping management would address it properly, but the customer service experience made things worse. The representative I spoke with, Lori, was very quick to tell me they could not change my room — even though I never asked for a room change in the first place. Instead of focusing on solving the issue or showing concern, the conversation felt dismissive. They eventually sent someone to spray a scent in the room, but that did absolutely nothing to resolve the smell. Overall, customer service was a 3/10. Guests should feel heard and valued when reporting concerns, especially something affecting the comfort of their stay. They really need to do better. Sadly, this experience made me decide I will not be staying at Harrah’s again when I visit Las Vegas.
