I usually only stay at Hilton mainline properties, but this was part of the curio collection and I am a huge fan of Virgin Voyages, so I decided to check it out. My stay here exceeded my expectations. First, the front desk employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was only staying a few hours as I needed a place to crash before my red eye flight. They let me check in early to maximize rest time. Of course this is based on availability, but this property has a lot of rooms. They clearly explained the food and beverage credit (tip: use it before 1pm as that is when most options are available). The room was modern, functional, clean and comfortable. Even though I didn’t stay in a suite, it was cool that there was a dressing and desk area outside of the closed spacious bedroom where someone can work or get dressed while the other sleeps. The only thing I would have preferred more is if the mini fridge was actually usable, but it’s Vegas standard to have it full of convenience priced drinks. A microwave, kettle and/or coffee maker would have also been nice to have, but I understand they could be annoying to clean. Location wise, it is one short bus ride from the airport and close to restaurants and fast food options. Obviously not located on the strip, so it is still accessible.

Have stayed here for a couple of trips for work. A couple of good restaurants are on property: Lucia and One Steakhouse. The Funny Library has good coffee. I like how the property is situated near the airport for ease of arrival and departure. The con is you have to leave the property via vehicle to get to most other typical Vegas places. Rooms are nice. Service is generally friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, this stay at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas was a major disappointment compared to our previous visit. Right from check-in, the experience went downhill. We were denied a room upgrade without any explanation from the front desk agent. What made it worse was that when I checked online immediately after, upgraded rooms were clearly available—so it felt like our benefits were simply ignored rather than unavailable. On top of that, the agent failed to properly input our guest information, which caused our food and beverage credits not to be applied correctly. Thankfully, the checkout agent was excellent and took the time to fix the issue and adjust the bill properly. She was the only bright spot in this entire experience. Housekeeping was also extremely poor. The room was barely cleaned—only the bed was made, and the towels we left on the floor were not replaced, forcing us to request a new set. The following day was even worse: we left the room and returned at 3 PM to find it hadn’t been cleaned at all. Once again, I had to call just to get basic housekeeping service. Overall, this was an awful experience and far below the standards we expected based on our past stay. Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has clearly declined in service, and unless significant improvements are made, we would seriously reconsider staying here again.

I stayed at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas for a solo trip on my first ever visit to Vegas, booking via Booking.com. Overall, it was a very positive stay, with a few “Vegas quirks” worth mentioning. The hotel’s proximity to the airport is a major win — about a 10-minute drive, which is ideal when you’ve just landed and want to get horizontal as quickly as possible. Check-in was fast and efficient, although the staff member who checked me in didn’t smile once and gave off strong “counting down to the end of my shift” energy. Not rude — just not exactly bursting with Virgin-brand enthusiasm. The room itself was excellent. Beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was large and genuinely cosy (dangerously good if you’re trying to avoid jet lag naps). There was plenty of storage space, and the large windows were a real highlight — perfect for watching both sunrise and sunset and reminding yourself you’re in the desert. I stayed on a Tuesday night, and the hotel felt fairly quiet. The casino didn’t have a huge buzz, but that may simply have been the night I was there. What it lacked in chaos, it made up for in friendliness. The casino staff were lovely, especially at the roulette tables. A special shout-out to Rosa, who was warm, welcoming, and far more entertaining than the wheel itself. Location-wise, the hotel is around a 9–10 minute drive from the main Las Vegas Strip. You can walk it (around 30 minutes), but I wouldn’t recommend it unless your idea of fun is trudging alongside busy roads questioning your life choices. Uber is your friend here. There’s a good range of food outlets within the hotel. I grabbed two pizza slices from the pizza outlet at the rear of the building — convenient, yes; value for money, less so. Let’s just say the price reflected the postcode rather than the portion size. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well maintained throughout. The pool area looked fantastic, which made it all the more frustrating that it was closed during my visit. A classic case of “looks great from a distance”. Overall A stylish, comfortable, and well-run hotel that I’d happily stay in again. It’s a great option if you want something a bit calmer and close to the airport — just don’t book it thinking you’ll be rolling out of bed straight onto the Strip.

All the workers here are very nice and accommodating. The room was good with a few issues. Overall clean and smelled really pleasant. Comfortable. Prices for room service a bit silly but it is a nice hotel. But 9 dollars for 2 eggs is kinda comical. Hotel itself was nice, didn't really go to the casino area for gambling. The location is close enough to get to the strip without having to deal with all of that traffic and close enough to Spring Mountain rd where you can drive down to hit all the good food in Vegas asian district / China town. Very ideal. I will note the room we had was a little worn in certain aspect but still fairly clean. The floors have seen better days, rugs definitely needed to be serviced. White tables had dirt build stuck between the wood grain. Not a big deal normally but if you have white furniture its really noticeable. Lots of dust buildup in the hallways too. Also the bed frame has what I would call a "cuddle corner" and it had lots of oil build of from being used. Should probably be steam cleaned because that was icky. But what can you expect when a room supplies a "lovers box" ontop of a dresser. Lol. I do wish there was an actual fridge we could use instead of a bar fridge filled to the brim with everything on censors. Also no microwave. Hotel expects you to eat and drink there so I get it. But seeing as I had a baby with me it would of been nice to have a place to keep his food and milk cool. So we got a foam cooler from a CVS and filled it with ice. Worked out great.
