We stayed at Treasure Island Las Vegas and overall had a good stay, but there are a few things worth knowing before you book. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a great job. We stayed on the 33rd floor, but we could still hear traffic noise from outside, especially at night. If your booking includes breakfast, don’t expect a full buffet. It consists of a pastry, a boiled egg, and your choice of a hot or cold drink. It was fine, but quite basic. The pool is clean, and the pool staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there are very few free shaded areas. If you want guaranteed shade, you’ll need to pay to hire a cabana or reserve premium loungers with a canopy. Otherwise, you’ll have to keep moving around during the day and hope the shade from nearby structures reaches your sunbed. One thing we found disappointing was that there are no tea or coffee-making facilities in the rooms. You can get hot water from the TI Coffee Shop if you want to make your own drink, but it would have been much more convenient to have a kettle in the room. Overall, Treasure Island is a clean hotel in a great location on the Strip with helpful staff, but it’s worth being aware of the basic breakfast, lack of in-room tea and coffee facilities, and limited free shade around the pool.

We had a great stay at Treasure Island. While the hotel is a bit older, it offers everything you need and provides very good value for the price. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall price-to-quality ratio was excellent. One of my favorite features was the pool with cool water—it was perfect after spending time outside in the Las Vegas heat. The location is also very convenient. There’s easy access to the CVS next door, which made it simple to grab water, snacks, or anything we needed. There are plenty of souvenir shops nearby, a Starbucks both inside the hotel and close by, and several good dining options. The casino wasn’t really my style because the ceilings felt a bit low, so I preferred to spend my time elsewhere. But overall, this is a solid hotel with a great location, good amenities, and excellent value. I would definitely stay here again.

It really pains me to write a review like this because I really wanted to like this place. I came to Vegas on Labor Day weekend so I always expected it to be busy, but I was greeted with a 3 hour wait to check in to my room. Once I finally got to the front of the line to the self check in kiosk, the machine then stopped working and wouldn’t accept my ID. I was then told to go wait in another line at the lobby in order to check in. That took another hour. By then, the evening was rapidly slipping away. Thankfully, the lady at the check in desk gave me free late check out and a strip view room due to the inconvenience, which I appreciate. When I got to the room, it was nice at first glance. The water pressure in the shower was not very good. I also found out later in the night that my TV didn’t work. The positives are that the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the view was nice. The saving grace of this hotel on my trip was the casino. I actually think the casino at TI is highly underrated and they have low minimums as well. $10 Blackjack, $15 Pai Gow, $15 Ultimate Hold Em. Considering this is a strip hotel, those minimums are low which allows folks like myself to play for a longer period of time. Like I said, I really wanted to like this place, but between the wait time and problems with the room I couldn’t bring myself to rate any higher than 2 stars. I want to give TI another chance, but there were just so many problems with this first visit.

A Huge Disappointment in Las Vegas Treasure Island was, without a doubt, one of the biggest disappointments of my experience in Las Vegas. The service is extremely poor, and the overall impression is one of complete lack of organization and proper structure. The check-in process took more than one hour and forty minutes, with only one employee serving the entire line. The situation became so chaotic that there was even an argument among guests because people were understandably frustrated and upset with the long wait. Another major issue is the lack of basic facilities for guests: there are no luggage carts available to help with your bags. Breakfast was also a terrible experience. There was an extremely long line, yet only half of the tables were available, apparently due to a lack of staff. Guests were forced to wait for more than 30 minutes at makeshift tables just to have breakfast. On top of that, there is a very unpleasant smell throughout the casino and lobby, a strong combination of cigarette smoke and mothballs, which makes the environment even more uncomfortable. This is truly disappointing because Las Vegas is a destination where I expected to have a much better experience. Unfortunately, my stay at Paradise Island was marked by poor organization, extremely long waits, understaffing, and service that was far below expectations. If I were the manager of this hotel, I would honestly be embarrassed to offer guests an experience like this.

Great hotel. Staff is very friendly. The casino is not super loud like so many others. Restaurants are good. Although I don't recommend Gilley's. It was very disappointing. Free parking is a big plus. Overall, a great hotel. Will continue to return to TI whenever I visit Las Vegas.
