This was our first time staying there and we truly enjoyed it. Front the start, the front desk specifically Sophia was great. She was very helpful and kind, made checking in very easy. We had one of the remodeled rooms and it was very clean and a good size. The fridge wasn’t working well , but nothing extreme To say it wasn’t good. We would stay there. The hotel wasn’t too large but I’m okay with that. I’d def stay there again.

I have very mixed reviews about the stay. The hotel itself was in a great location. The check-in and check out were horrible! There were only 3 people for check out and the line was long with 20 people waiting. It took forever. When it was my turn to finally check out, I said I needed an invoice with my company name and address on it. I was told one would be sent via email. That never came. An hour later, I got an email telling me I need to check out. Very disorganized. The check in had over 50 people in line. I tried using the kiosk where you put your info in and then you are supposed to get sent a QR code via text message where you can then create your own key card. After waiting 30 min, the text never came and I had to wait in the long line. Not great when you have a late flight and it is late and you just want to go to bed because you have early meetings in the morning. When I finally get to the room, I go to use the restroom and the toilet handle is broken. The toilet will not flush. So I have to go back down to the lobby to ask for a new room. The room itself was nice sized. But there is no desk so if you have to work, you will be out of luck. The chairs were dirty with crumbs and on the floor was remnants from of trash.

This is my 3rd visit to the MGM Grand. Its my favorite Budget friendly hotel on the Strip. We had a party of 10. We were celebrating Two newlyweds and me and my wife's 5th Anniversary. We also celebrated out 1st Anniversary here. Love the Resturants and the Wave pool. Please beware. You will do a lot of walking so bring good shoes lol

Marriott Gold Elite and Sapphire Reserve member who booked this hotel through Chase and got the $100 dining credit and 2pm check out through Marriott. Just a little background. So, last night (night before my checkout), I was sleep with my wife and kids and my wife wakes me from a dead sleep. My door is wide open and there is a housekeeper in my room. I’m talking about around midnight or somewhere around that time. Half naked and asleep I jump up and go to my door and all she is saying is “no service?” in a Spanish accent. I was so astonished as of what was happening, I asked “What?!?”. She repeated herself and I said no and kicked her out my room. Mid you, I have won a few thousand dollars that I had just sitting on the dresser. Because we were dead tired we agreed to talk to management when we woke. I went downstairs and spoke with management about this incident and he only offered me to comp my balance of $9 since I spent $109 and already used my $100 credit and let me check out at 3pm when I normally can checkout at 2pm being a Marriott Gold Elite member. Speaking with the manager her didn’t seem to believe my story or didn’t seem like this was a huge issue of a “housekeeper trying to clean my room at midnight”. So for the experience of someone breaking in my room seeing me half naked, with thousands on the dresser and my children sleep, all I get is $9 and an extra hour to checkout. This is unacceptable. He told me that he could talk with security and check the footage. I told him he needs to and call me back with why you allowed your workers to scare me half to death. I have stayed in high end hotels and Red Roof Inns. I have never had this experience until now. And in the MGM Grand of all establishments. I am mad at someone breaking into my room, and I an upset that management could only think of a hour extra and $9 for initiating my fight or flight response. If I would have knocked the person out for breaking into my room and defending my family I would have been in the wrong. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.

We really enjoyed our stay at MGM Grand. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself has everything you could want, with plenty of restaurants, bars, entertainment and a great atmosphere. It’s huge, but that’s part of the MGM Grand experience. The location on the Strip is also very convenient for exploring Las Vegas.
