Hotel de Mar Gran Melia

Roam & Review

A truly relaxing luxury stay in Mallorca. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a balcony that opened directly to stunning sea views — definitely one of the highlights of the experience. The entire property has a calm and premium atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The pool area, bar, and wellness centre all add to the relaxing vibe and make the stay feel complete. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive throughout, always ready to assist with any request. One thing to note is that certain amenities like toiletries, an iron, and a table are available on demand rather than readily placed in the room. However, the minibar is conveniently included in the room. Overall, De Mar Gran Meliá Mallorca offers a peaceful and luxurious escape with excellent service and breathtaking surroundings It's bit over pricy but it's worth each penny.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gran Meliá! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and the ocean view from our balcony was absolutely stunning. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffetit was easily one of the best we’ve experienced, with an amazing variety of options and even local specialties to try. We also loved the waterfront access. It was easy to find a chair by the water on both days we were there, and they even have a ladder where you can jump directly into the water, which was such a fun touch. The hotel is also very centrally located, making it easy to get around. They offer a shuttle car during certain hours of the day, and I’d recommend asking the front desk to reserve it in advance. One small callout is that the gym is fairly small. There is a larger gym available, but it’s only accessible if you book a personal training session. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hotel Gran Meliá. We’d definitely stay here again!

Worth it! Nothing is better than coming home after a long day to luxury, incredible views, thoughtful interiors, and every space smells clean. A good reason to stay in while you’re on holiday. The cabana views outside are truly out of this worth .

This is honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Every single staff member went above and beyond—from the reception, concierge, housekeeping, breakfast team, gym, and beach staff. Everyone works together seamlessly, and you can genuinely feel the passion and teamwork. The hotel itself is simply magical. The design, the atmosphere, and every little detail create a place that feels like paradise. I truly didn’t want to leave. Thank you to the entire team for such an unforgettable experience.

Had a fabulous 4 night stay at this hotel. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff Chelsy from Guest Relations, Jamie at Reception, and all the staff around the pool were so helpful and friendly. The Mississippi Mudpie cocktail that was created for us by the pool bar staff was incredible. Had a lovely relaxing stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a luxurious retreat experience.
