We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Mauritius. The location is beautiful, with amazing views and direct access to the beach. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with any questions. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and welcoming. It was a great place to unwind and enjoy our holiday. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay enjoyable. We would be happy to return in the future and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mauritius.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The only positive aspect of our stay was the food, which was enjoyable. Everything else was a huge disappointment. From the moment we checked in, we felt unwelcome. The staff lacked basic courtesy, professionalism, and hospitality. Several employees, especially at the bar, seemed irritated whenever guests approached them, making us feel like we were a burden rather than valued customers. The hotel was clearly overcrowded and appeared to be overbooked. Instead of a relaxing getaway, it felt more like a busy fairground. The staff struggled to cope with the number of guests, resulting in slow service and a poor overall experience. As Mauritians, we couldn’t help but wonder if we were being treated differently. Ironically, we found the foreign staff members to be far more polite, welcoming, and attentive than some of the local employees, who seemed to lack the training and customer service skills expected from a hotel of this standard. We had booked an all-inclusive package, but the selection of non-alcoholic beverages was surprisingly limited, which was disappointing for families and guests who don’t consume alcohol. The Kids Club was another letdown. The staff member there made no effort to welcome or engage with my daughter, creating an uninviting atmosphere where children should feel excited and included. I have stayed at many hotels, both locally and abroad, and I can honestly say this ranks among my worst experiences. Beautiful surroundings and good food cannot compensate for poor service, unprofessional staff, and a complete lack of genuine hospitality. I left feeling frustrated and deeply disappointed. Unless the hotel makes significant improvements to its customer service, staff training, and overall guest experience, I would not recommend it to anyone.

I recently stayed at Riu Turquoise Hotel with my family and kids, and we had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and perfect for families. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food options were excellent with a good variety to keep everyone happy—including the kids! The entertainment team was fantastic, always full of energy and offering activities throughout the day. What we loved most was how family-friendly the entire resort is. The kids had a great time at the pool and RUILand, and we could truly relax knowing they were enjoying themselves in a safe and fun environment. Overall, our stay at Riu Turquoise was memorable, enjoyable, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommended for families looking for a stress-free and fun holiday experience!

We had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The views were beautiful, and it was very easy to find sunbeds both by the ocean and the pools. There was plenty of greenery around, creating a calm and refreshing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help or accommodate any requests. The food selection was impressive, with wide variety of cuisines and plenty of fish options. The hotel also offers diverse entertaiment, so there is always smth to do. Overall, a very enjoyable and comforteble stay.

The hotel is beautifully located near the stunning Le Morne Brabant, with breathtaking views and direct access to a gorgeous beach. The scenery alone makes it worth the stay—perfect for relaxing sunsets and amazing photos. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make sure guests feel at ease. Food was varied and generally good, with multiple buffet options and themed dinners. Drinks and cocktails were also well prepared, especially by the pool area. The hotel offers a nice range of activities during the day and entertainment in the evening, which keeps the atmosphere lively without being overwhelming.
