Well, I have to say that I am really impressed with the quality of the service. Every single member of the staff was always willing to help. The food was always available and high quality. The Asian restaurant was the best imo. The kids club and the water park were great for our kids. They always had something scheduled for children!!!! A lot of fun activities. The only negative thing were the rooms, could be more clean and the finish of the upgrades could have been better. Other than that fantastic experience.

Our stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana was absolutely incredible! From the beautiful resort, amazing food, and outstanding service to the endless activities and entertainment, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, clean, and has such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Raibel and Eugene deserve a special mention! They were absolutely amazing—so friendly, energetic, and genuinely wonderful people. They went above and beyond to make sure we were entertained and enjoying ourselves. Once again, I confirmed that this is the best hotel for a family vacation. It is very peaceful, and from the moment you arrive at the club to check in, you are welcomed by Lady and Bryan with their cocktails and kindness. The buffet food is excellent, and all the waiters are very friendly and professional. My son loves being at the Kids Club—he never wants to leave. The staff there are so kind and keep the kids busy with so many activities, especially Yaya, whom my son adores—10/10. All the workers are 10/10. The rooms are super clean, with attention to the smallest details. I can’t wait to go back. For me, it’s the best all-inclusive hotel (I’ve been to about eight different ones). Definitely an A+ in everything.

Our second stay here, and once again the Hyatt Ziva exceeded our expectations in every way. The fact that we keep coming back says it all — and what stands out most is the exceptional staff who genuinely make our trips. At the Club bar, Leydi and Brian were fantastic bartenders — friendly, attentive, and always making us feel welcome. In the evenings, Sorolla and Christopher at the Club bar were equally wonderful and kept the good energy going. Christopher, our concierge, was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly. Valentin took great care of our luggage and made arrival effortless. At the Mercado Buffet, Wander, Alfredo, and George provided warm, professional service that made every meal a pleasure. Our kids had an amazing time thanks to Yaya and the rest of the kids club team, who were attentive, fun, and clearly love what they do. Every member of the team treated us with genuine care and hospitality. We left feeling truly looked after and are already looking forward to our next visit. We staying at Hyatt Ziva for a longer family vacation (14 days), which gave us enough time to experience the resort beyond the first few exciting days. I really wanted to love it, but by the end of our stay, there were too many things that made me question what we were actually paying for especially after upgrading to Club Level, which I can only describe as anti-luxury. Let me start with breakfast because it became one of the most frustrating parts of staying here for this long. There is basically one main breakfast restaurant for the entire resort, so every morning everyone is funneled into the same place. The buffet also isn’t really a normal buffet because you don’t serve yourself; staff stand behind the food and put whatever you ask for onto your plate. I understand the reasoning is probably to stop hundreds of people from touching the same serving spoons, but the result honestly feels like being served prison-style. And the hygiene reasoning becomes a little pointless when you’re still cramming the entire resort into one restaurant every morning, with everyone standing together in the same lines and crowding around the same food stations. The breakfast selection also barely changes, which becomes extremely noticeable during a longer stay. There is a huge emphasis on pork, so if you don’t eat pork, prepare to eat a lot of the same things over and over again. I understand that every resort will have repeat items, but for a property catering to international guests, there should be enough variety that you’re not completely over breakfast halfway through your vacation. And if you’re hoping for a decent cup of coffee or something sweet afterward, lower your expectations even further. This was the worst possible coffee you could have at a resort, and the dessert selection was just as disappointing. The coffee was the worst and unpleasant, and the desserts were extremely limited, repetitive and underwhelming. We thought Club Level might give us some better options, but somehow the Club breakfast was actually worse. Honestly, Club Level here is anti-luxury. It sounds like an upgrade when you’re booking, but very little about our experience with it actually felt elevated. The Club pool was another perfect example. We went there once and it smelled so strongly of sewage that it completely grossed us out. We left and never returned. When you’re paying extra specifically for these supposedly upgraded spaces, walking into your exclusive pool area and being hit with the smell of sewage is almost laughable. Cleanliness was a big issue for us and I won’t go on by explaining why but I will leave you with some photos of some cockroaches we found throughout our first day just outside of our elevator, which will pretty much sum that up. I don’t see our family ever returning. After our experience, it’s difficult to understand the countless influencer videos calling this place five stars or one of the best resorts they’ve visited. It genuinely left me questioning whether some of these glowing reviews came from paid or complimentary stays, or from people who simply have a very different definition of a true five star resort.
