Beautifully maintained villas amid a manicured garden. Super friendly staff who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, comfortable and safe. Food was decent and the resort wasn't very crowded at the end of October. Loved the golf carts to go around the property. Scuba Diving was an extra treat I gave myself. Would definitely do it again. Amazing well knowledgeable staff from all around the world!!

My (now) wife and I had 60 friends and family stay at the Bavaro and Coral suites this past November 2025 to celebrate our wedding. Katiuska Arache Rodriguez was our wedding coordinator. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience working with her on this very special weekend. Katiuska is professional, calm, warm, and extremely good at her job. You can tell she has done many of these, yet at the same time made our wedding feel so unique, special, and important to her. She was with us every step of the way from planning the events remotely, and then greeting us right as we first arrived. She walked us through every aspect of planning and helped us with decision-making about how we wanted our wedding to go. She was there with us for both the welcome event and the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to ensure everything went smoothly and on schedule. She went above and beyond to make this a wonderful experience for us. If you are a couple considering whether this resort is the one for you, I would strongly encourage you to say yes to Iberostar Selection Coral and Bavaro Suites with Katiuska as your coordinator. Beyond the wedding celebrations, we were extremely happy with our decision to bring our friends and family here. The whole resort was incredibly well maintained, the food variety was very good, the beach is beautiful, and the activities were an absolute blast for all ages. The staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. A lot of our guests had a blast playing beach volleyball, dance lessons, and all sorts of other activities with "El Nino" who was an activities coordinator. The rooms are clean and well stocked daily in terms of drinks and fresh towels. There were no issues at all at night in terms of noise levels. Location-wise, the drive from the airport from the resort was very easy and convenient. Overall, our stay at this resort was a great value and we are excited to go back in the future!

The best part of this resort is the beach, fantastic sand that seemed cool on my feet despite the hot weather. We got lucky with clean sand and no sargassum weeds. The water by the resort was very clean. The food at the buffet is great if you get there when it opens, once it gets busy it's a bit too crowded. The a la carte restaurants were mostly a waste of time here, the steakhouse was closed, the Asian cuisine was fried rice with a performance (good service), the Italian restaurant had abysmal service, couldn't get a drink refill and ended up serving myself. The kids star camp was lovely and I wish we used it more than we did, the staff there were plentiful and abundantly friendly. Our room had a functional layout that felt roomy. However we were ridiculously far from all the amenities and I really got my steps in this week. While I do appreciate the exercise, it was very awkward when you forget something back in the room. The room was continually infested with millipedes. I flushed perhaps 30 to 40 of them down the toilet. Also encountered some cockroach and a fair number of mosquitoes in the room. This is likely due to the poor seals around the doors, you can see sunlight pouring through the crack all around the doors. That being said, the cleaning staff were fantastic and very helpful. The entertainment was good, on par with what I expected. A good mix of kid friendly stuff and the crowd interaction. Overall I felt that the staff really want you to have a good time and I felt there was effort on their part to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful beach with soft sand and clear water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. There’s plenty of natural shade under the trees, making it easy to relax even during the hottest hours. The small villas are cozy and comfortable, with spacious rooms and all the necessary amenities. Overall, it’s a peaceful and charming place to unwind and enjoy nature.

Great golf trip. Twenty friends. Rooms and restrooms were great. Quiet, scenic, beautiful and lots fun. Daily activities by the main pool. Beach secondes away. Service is spot on and the do not let up. Rooms are cleaned daily. Five restaurants, French, Italian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Steak House a d a large Buffet area. I do recommend you reserve asap once you arrive limited seating on the restaurants. Also a 24 hour coffee/tea shop with tones sweets, sandwiches and pizza. But tiny size. Night life is also great. Different themes every night. Clean water stations everywhere. So bring your water bottle to hydrate.
