An overall amazing experience. I came here with my parents and boyfriend we had a great time! The hotel is a great luxury hotel with so many facilities, so many food options and the staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. We chose the half board option but at the hotel we got offered to change to all inclusive if we wanted to. I believe this is something I definitely will do next time I visit. Our rooms were of the highest standard with a private massive lounger bed. Big bathtub in the room really creates a very romantic and relaxing atmosphere😍So clean and well organised, our cleaner Iulia was amazing. Very hardworking and had opportunity to talk to her about her job, she should be promoted. (Check the room video) We all loved the heated indoor pool and spent most of our time there as the outdoor pool was a bit too cold for our liking. I wish there was a way for them to heat up the outdoor pool too but maybe if you visit later in the summer the water is warmer. Although the food for breakfast and dinner was really good I do have to say that the burgers in the snack bar could be a lot better. As I believe for a luxurious hotel burgers should not come frozen. I do also wish there was a hairdryer in the room as this would make packing a bit easier Overall thank you for the welcome stay I wish to return here in the future

Holiday has been amazing! Hotel is absolutely stunning and all the staff are great. Sergio and Edwardo were unreal! Always have a smile on their face and so so helpful. The staff are so attentive and always making sure you are having the best time! The cleaners for our room have also been amazing! Will definitely be back

Beautiful, modern hotel with friendly staff! The buffet had something for everyone regardless of preferences and dietary restrictions. It was a quick walk to the beach and a quick Uber into Old Town Lagos if you want to explore. I had an amazing stay and recommend it!

From the day we arrived to the day we left, our experience at Iberostar was good. We'd arrived at the hotel a couple hours before check-in (due to early flight) and we knew that an early check-in would be subject to availability so we'd planned to visit the town while we waited. However, the reception staff went above and beyond to get us an available room earlier. They were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room itself was a sea-view room on the first floor and was nice. I did expect a vanity kit to be provided but it wasn't a big deal. We booked half board so breakfast and dinner were included in our stay. The restaurant was nice and spacious, lots of seating options inside and outside. The buffet always had a good selection of food, though I will say that some of the meat and seafood dishes were often overcooked (both buffet items and from the fresh grill). Not a big deal but was a shame as I was excited to enjoy the seafood. The restaurant staff are also very kind and attentive, however did seem a little pushy at dinner service as they were keen for us to order drinks every time. The pool area and other facilities were a highlight. As we visited in May, it wasn't too busy so there were plenty of sun loungers available each day and it was peaceful. The gym was well equipped though there was no AC so it was difficult to stay cool while working out. The entertainment team were also great. The hotel had a schedule of activities each day which you could check on the printed board or mobile app. However, it was a shame that some activities were cancelled last minute (maybe due to lack of interest). But the ones we did attend were well run and the staff are lovely. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar. It was in a very convenient location, just a 5 min drive or 40 min walk on the boardwalk to Lagos. Only 7 mins to the nearest local convenience store and train stop. It's an hour from Faro airport and ubers are relatively cheap so easy to get around. Would recommend if you're looking for a relaxing holiday and place to stay to explore the Algarve.

Just back from staying here. It is a lovely hotel and the rooms are very nice. We had a sea view room with a balcony. The cleaning wasn't the best as our bathroom was not cleaned for 2 days and we found a bag of rubbish on the floor in our room one evening that looked like it was left there when cleaning and the forgotten. The location is a little bit isolated but we used Uber to get to Lagos town for only about £4 which was very good. We did have a nice stay, it was just a couple of little things that dropped the standard of what I would expect.
