Our stay at Jamaica Inn was defined by a rare and genuine sense of connection. The staff doesn't just provide service; they welcome you into the fold, making up inside jokes and treating you like true family from day one. There is a profound beauty in the simplicity of this resort. We spent our mornings enjoying leisurely two-hour breakfasts on the verandah and peaceful strolls along the beach. Even on the overcast and rainy days, the property remains incredibly elegant and serene. It’s the perfect place to slow down and appreciate the quiet moments. The dining experience was equally impressive. The food was consistently delicious, and the staff was exceptionally attentive and cautious regarding food allergies at every single meal. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough! We will absolutely be returning for a full week next time to soak up every bit of this magic. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable and perfect!

Incredible property with a very chilled vibe. The staff are the friendliest in the world. The food, especially dinner is over the top delicious and fresh. We had a veranda suite with a room attached. The bedding is very comfortable and the entire property is impeccably clean. Probably the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Oh by the way, the beach is lovely and the water so warm and clear.

There aren't enough stars to fairly rate the Jamaica Inn. We just spent our third year in a row there; and ever year the greeting: "Welcome Home," is more appropriate than before. If you are looking for a quiet, high service resort this is THE one. Most staff have been there for years and their focus is always on the guest experience throughout the dayand throughout the stay. My daughter and I just returned from a girls' trip to celebrate her Sweet 16 at the Jamaica Inn. She did not want to leave! I now understand why so many guests choose to return to the Inn year after year. Everything about this hotel is special... the staff is seriously the kindest and most helpful staff I've encountered (countless staff members have worked at the Inn for many years- they said it's like their family), the beach and views are postcard perfect, the food and drinks are delicious, the sunsets breathtaking, and the rooms are both well-appointed and comfortable. Each night, we drifted to sleep with the sound of the ocean gently lulling us to slumber. Shadow, the owners' loving Black Lab, is a joyful regular on the property. The Inn's timeless traditions (daily tea at 4 p.m., nightly live music, and the manager's cocktail hour are not to be missed). We even met one of the owners, Eric, at both check-in and check-out. It's clear that much love, attention, and care go into the management of this family-owned Inn. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so amazing... my daughter and I cannot wait to return!!

This is our 4th or 5th stay at Jamaica Inn & we quite like the it- we especially love the silence & the on time Room service. But has management changed in the last 18 months- 2 years? The attention to detail & level of follow up that we usually get was noticeably missing. In addition there were things wrong in the room (which sometimes cant be helped with an older property) but: -The bottom of the toilet & the faucet leaking (so we had to put towels down so the bathroom didn't get messy) - The smell of something dead behind the headboard of the bed- my husband & I slept at the other end of the bed & used pillows to stuff down the side to keep the smell down. House keeping came the next day & sprayed anti bacterial spray & the fumes were so bad we had to open all the doors & windows & leave the room to let everything out thereafter, no one called or asked if the problem was solved. There was also a similar decomposing smell coming from the fridge but less of a concern as most of our stuff was bottled or canned but still VERY off putting. And lastly, the phone jarring us awake at 7am because staff made a mistake & thought we were doing a buggy tour? No apologies, no "How was your stay?" after checkout as per usual. Please, please, please remember its all about attention to detail & following through that makes a stay exceptional.
