Great stay, We had an ocean front suite with Butler. View was amazing. Loved our breakfast on balcony each morning. Very nice pool area, where you can choose your vibe from quiet pool, activity pool, or pool with swim ip bar and infinity edge overlooking the beach. Lots of padded loungers and cabanas. Also enjoyed being able to walk next door to Iberostar Selection and use lazy river. All the workers were pleasant and happy to serve. Poolside service was nice. The grounds are kept so clean with workers constantly tending different areas. The beach was raked and cleared of seaweed in the mornings. The only negative I feel is important to mention, is the ocean water is pretty from a distance, but murky brown at the shoreline. (No fault of theirs) Just dont expect crystal clear pretty caribbean blue waters. The pools, good food, service, cleanliness, and staff make up for the beach not being perfect. I would 100% recommend this place to others

Alrick is the ultimate hype man - he kept the party going all week we were there and made us feel so welcome & cherished. Absolutely beautiful resort we hung out on the beach every day taking dips in the pool to cool off - service was always incredible and we felt very taken care of. The food we have been raving about, we can’t recommend this resort enough to everyone! Our room was always well kept and comfortable, the room service was always a plus. Thank you so much for all you do. One love!

The entertainment is amazing, Bubbles and Deivy are amazing. MoMo is an awesome aqua fit instructor. He is hilarious. Shout out to Twinkle and Trini too, made some cool bracelets and stenciled bags this week. Good food, shows are top notch. I will be returning for sure! One love.

The people are fantastic. Our butlers (Rohan, Ohrain, Glen, Devon and Rennardo) were so helpful and loved their little check ins with us. Housekeeping was always on time and did a great job, including the little chocolates at turn down service. The bar staff were knowledgeable and gave great service. The food was incredible. By far the best food we’ve ever had on a resort. Definitely have the jerk plate and the spring rolls at the Jamaican a la carte, we went back again the next night. Even the maintenance crews doing repairs after the hurricane were friendly. I have a lot more positive stuff to say (no negatives) but, I’m running out of space. Thanks JOIA for the amazing job.

We just spent 7 days at the Iberostar Joia Rose Hall and wanted to provide our feedback. We had an ocean front room with butler service. Our room was exactly what we expected. The mini bar and snacks were very much appreciated and restocked regularly. The butlers were able to help if there were any gaps. The resort staff were absolutely all so accommodating and happy to have us there. They always made us feel that it was Betty much appreciated that we were there. So many resorts in Montego Bay are still closed and recovering from hurricane Melissa. Many of the staff members were just recently returned to work and the hotel was not at full capacity so that was a positive albeit unrealistic short term benefit. More people were arriving daily so that is good for everyone. We walked the beach to and from each of the Iberostar properties Joia to Selections and finally Waves and always felt safe. There were about a dozen vendors who kayaked to the beach edge in spite of this being a no vendor zone. They were all polite did not give us a hard time. We swam in the ocean and the pool and both were lovely. We snorkelled in front of the three hotel properties and saw many different fish and coral near the two reefs that were within the swimming area. The food quality was excellent and we enjoyed the a la carte restaurants. The Surf n turf, Japanese, Italian were out favorites and the Jamaican buffet was a staple while we were there. We enjoyed all the events of the entertainment & craft teams and appreciated the fun that Deivy and Bubbles both provided. We enjoyed the butler service and were always able to chat with and seek help from them. Of special note we will miss the positivity and charm of Berris and the extra attention provided by Omar as he helped us celebrate our wedding anniversary. From our arrival to our departure we were spoiled by Karl who spent all the extra time needed to get us to our room and to see us off for our departure as he answered many questions with his million dollar smile. Everyday we were spoiled by Tishone by the pool as she provided excellent drinks and great suggestions when we wanted to try something different. It was truly sad to say goodbye to her. Of additional special mention, Karen at the Galleon surf and turf restaurant made our first night dinner so very special, we were truly spoiled. Shanea at the star Cafe always has a smile and a random coffee that did not disappoint all while working many long shifts in a row. Jessica the cat lady and her husband Jimy are truly special human beings for their care and love provided to the cats as they transition from their temporary home to the newly restored cat sanctuary. Iberostar you have an amazing brand ambassador in Jimy, I very much enjoyed our talks and his explanation of what makes Iberostar so different from other resorts. Marcus at the coconut station at the selections buffet was very kind to prepare our coconut so we could drink from them and again when we wanted to eat the insides. To the staff of Iberostar Montego Bay Joia Selections and Waves you definitely made our stay enjoyable and unforgettable. To those who love Jamaica thinking that you might wait until things get more restored before you go back, I say go now. The things that make Jamaica great, the People, need your visit no more than ever. The beach, the sun and ocean are still there. It's not hard to notice the great impact of the hurricane and most people we spoke with are still dealing with repairs to their homes. These wonderful people are still so happy to be alive and back at work. What great optimistic that all displayed while in these tremendously challenging times for them. We love you Jamaica, until we see you again.
