We started our honeymoon off here and were very happy. The suite we got was very nice. Spacious, clean, nice amenities, amazing view of the sea with its own terrace. There were not many other rooms on our level. We rarely saw anyone else and never heard any noise in our room. Very private. We do wish we upgraded to a suite above the lobby so we could have been closer to the infinity pool and gym, both of which are very nice and we used every day. Breakfast was also very good with a great view. Service was friendly and quick, unlike some other reviews I’ve read. The shuttle down to the port and back runs every hour between 10 am and 11 pm. We do wish it was every 30 minutes just for convenience but overall, every hour isn’t bad. And please note calling taxis can take awhile since they have a limited number and try to make efficiency on pickups while dropping off. It took about 45 minutes for our taxi to arrive to transfer us to our next hotel in Valldemossa. The hotel has a lot of levels and sprawls along the cliff side. So you could end up taking multiple elevators or stairs depending on where your room is. We do wish the hotel was a tad smaller so it was more personal but the service received was pretty top notch all around. I did call for more coffee pods twice and never received them, most likely because the request has to get passed a long and was lost along the way. Still, we would stay here again in a heartbeat and actually wished we had stayed an additional night instead of the 3 nights we were there.

By far one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Very kind and accommodating staff, high attention to detail and the hotel was very welcoming towards our dog (a small poodle), which made for an even better vacation. We are already thinking about coming back ! The only recommendation is that the whirlpool in the spa is a bit cold and would benefit from being a bit more heated.

So let’s start with the good. The staff were uniformly amazing (big shout out to Anna at breakfast) - all really friendly and helpful. The location was lovely with extra special views and the pools were ace. Prices for drinks/food very expensive indeed so be prepared for that. However, this is a property in desperate need of renovation - it is looking very tired. Others have said as much in other reviews so rather than repeat previous comments I thought I would cover the gym as an example. Every other cardio machine was broken, even the ones that worked were falling apart (see photo). This is a cheap and easy fix and we don’t understand why you would have a gym in this state. We also included a photo of our bath surround with the sealant falling off and one of a lift that was broken forcing people to trek outside in the rain. I know things break but this is beyond that. In all honestly it was lovely and we would go back but it could be so much better with a bit of expenditure and attention.

Jumeirah became a quiet and relaxing respite after a two-week group tour in Northern Spain. We had hoped to tour the island, but an unfortunate “flu” bug hit us three days apart, so we had a forced “resort” vacation. We couldn’t have been at a nicer spot. The ocean and mountain views are gorgeous and we enjoyed the sunny days on the pool deck away from other quests. There is an outdoor and indoor restaurant that served an extraordinary buffet breakfast that also offered made to order breakfast items. The staff was extremely helpful and the shuttle driver into town was especially kind in running us to the local pharmacy on two occasions. We did feel well enough one afternoon to check out Port de Soller. Be advised that parking in the town is quite challenging so you are well off taking the hotel’s complementary shuttle! Overall, this is a luxury resort that is spotlessly cared for with staff who are welcoming and hospitable. The location is set up into a mountain on a winding road looking down on the sea, so if you are looking for a beach location, this may not suit you. One other note: if you have mobility concerns, advise the hotel staff and inquire about accessibility to all facilities. We don’t need special assistance so did’t take note. Again, the hotel is situated and built on a mountain!

Be very careful with payments at this hotel and monitor your bank account closely. In my case, instead of simply pre-authorising or blocking the security deposit, the hotel fully charged the amount from my card. I have now been trying for more than two weeks to obtain the return of my deposit, despite multiple reminders and promises from their side. What is most concerning is the lack of transparency and the absence of any proper payment confirmation or refund documentation. It honestly gives the impression that they may be relying on guests not checking their bank accounts carefully, especially guests who are financially comfortable and less likely to notice unexpected charges immediately. Please pay close attention to your statements and verify all transactions carefully. Extremely disappointing experience for a hotel of this level.
