Jumeirah became a quiet and relaxing respite after a two-week group tour in Northern Spain. We had hoped to tour the island, but an unfortunate “flu” bug hit us three days apart, so we had a forced “resort” vacation. We couldn’t have been at a nicer spot. The ocean and mountain views are gorgeous and we enjoyed the sunny days on the pool deck away from other quests. There is an outdoor and indoor restaurant that served an extraordinary buffet breakfast that also offered made to order breakfast items. The staff was extremely helpful and the shuttle driver into town was especially kind in running us to the local pharmacy on two occasions. We did feel well enough one afternoon to check out Port de Soller. Be advised that parking in the town is quite challenging so you are well off taking the hotel’s complementary shuttle! Overall, this is a luxury resort that is spotlessly cared for with staff who are welcoming and hospitable. The location is set up into a mountain on a winding road looking down on the sea, so if you are looking for a beach location, this may not suit you. One other note: if you have mobility concerns, advise the hotel staff and inquire about accessibility to all facilities. We don’t need special assistance so did’t take note. Again, the hotel is situated and built on a mountain!

We visited in late October, just before the hotel closed for the season. The rates were significantly reduced, allowing us to experience a spectacular hotel for a more affordable budget. The view from our room was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to help with any queries we had and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely aim to visit again.

There’s no denying that the Jumeirah Mallorca is a visually stunning property. The setting, perched along the cliffs with sweeping views of the Mediterranean, is breathtaking. The landscaping is immaculate, the pools are serene, and the design of the main building blends luxury with a tasteful Mediterranean charm. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, it checks all the boxes for a five-star getaway. However, beneath the surface of this beauty lies a fundamental issue with transparency that significantly impacted our experience. The accommodations listed on the website are misleading, particularly the so-called “Deluxe Mediterranean Sea View” rooms. The photos used to represent this room type are clearly taken from the main building, which is central to the resort experience. Unfortunately, our room was located in a lower annex, a completely separate building that feels disconnected both physically and atmospherically from the main hotel. This difference in location and quality should be clearly broken out as a distinct room type on their site. At $1,500 per night, being led to believe we’d be staying in one setting and finding ourselves in another felt like a bait and switch. Had we known in advance that our room would be in the "annex" - and that it would differ so significantly from the main building’s offering - we would likely have chosen a different property or at least a different room type. Compounding our disappointment was an issue with room 222, where the shower drain was broken. On multiple occasions, this caused flooding from the bathroom into the bedroom. While we raised the issue with staff, the response was underwhelming - simply, “Thanks for letting us know, we’ll inform the team.” There was no apology, no follow-up, and no indication that the issue would be addressed during our stay, despite us having several nights remaining. At this level of hospitality, we expected more proactive and thoughtful service. That leads me to the broader service experience. While the resort aspires to five-star standards, the delivery was inconsistent. One particularly noticeable shortfall was the poolside service - or lack thereof. Although buttons were provided to call staff to our loungers, we tried multiple times with no response. In the end, we often had to get up and go find someone ourselves. It’s a small detail, but at a luxury resort, those details matter. They’re part of what distinguishes five-star service from simply a beautiful location. With more transparent marketing and a stronger commitment to guest experience, it could truly live up to its five-star potential - but in our case, it fell short.

Perfect stay at Jumeirah Mallorca. The care and friendliness of all staff was outstanding, especially Bea in the sunset lounge and Loli at breakfast, but everyone was outstanding. The hotel and all facilities were immaculately clean and the views are stunning whichever way you look. We had a Mountain View room and the view was spectacular. The breakfast was amazing with a huge range of self serve options as well as being able to order specific dishes. The sunset lounge had a wonderful vibe and tasty food and Cap Roig was also excellent with local delicacies and great service. We stayed for 4 nights and whilst expensive it was a luxury experience,

Came to Jumeriah for my honeymoon in September. While the breakfast, the views, and the spa were fantastic, it does not make up for the strange/bad experience we had. We had 4 pieces of clothing go missing over the course of the 3 nights we were there. We never left the hotel except for dinner, so I know for a fact that we did not misplace the clothes. My pajamas even went missing after the second night, so I know for a fact I was wearing them in the room exclusively. I don’t want to imply malicious intent, but in all my years of travel this has never happened to me or my husband. One of the things that went missing was a $200 jacket (that I wore to the resort, so once again, I know I had it there). We brought it up to staff and they just said they’d “keep an eye out for them” but never found anything. For this reason, I would not return, and advise anyone who goes there to deny room service during the stay.
