Hello, We vacationed here from April 6th- April 10th. We had a great time but did have some minor problems. First, when we got to the hotel we were welcomed, and told us to go to the concierge, we went there but the lady told us to come back after we have breakfast. So we did, when we came back she didn’t attend us because she was with another family and she recommended going to the pool and come back in a while, again we came back and she was gone. No one of the staff members who checked us in told us about the amenities and events they were going to use for Easter weekend. We did enjoy the first day playing soccer and enjoying the family pool- although we noticed and kept stepping on loose tiles in the pool. The beach isn’t the best as the water is not clear and looks really brown. In addition, one of the reasons we booked here was because on the Expedia posting it said they provide free transportation to the Xcaret parks - they don’t to regular visitors, only to members. Bummer! The rooms we nice. Our room was clean but did noticed the door to the shower was falling off the hinges, which we called it to he fixed and no one came to fix it. Also, when stepping into the balcony we would get a foul smell from the downstairs private pools that were not clean. The water was brown and murky. In all, the staff members were nice and polite, and the wild life was cool to experience.

😬 Beautiful hotel, but an uncomfortable incident you should know about before booking.. I want to start by saying that my first stay at this hotel was one of my favorite vacations in Cancún — the rooms, amenities, restaurants, and staff were truly exceptional. That experience was so memorable that I decided to return this year. Unfortunately, this visit left me with mixed feelings I feel compelled to share with anyone considering this hotel. On my last day, while I was taking photos to remember my trip, I was approached in a disrespectful manner by a guest identified as a VIP member. She asked me to leave the beach area through the red bridge — a zone that was never described anywhere on the hotel's website or check-in materials as restricted to a specific category of guests. To make matters worse, she photographed me without my consent, which is not only invasive but also illegal under Mexican law. "Offering premium benefits to VIP members is perfectly understandable, but those benefits should never come at the expense of other guests' dignity and comfort". Everyone who books this hotel has worked hard to afford a relaxing vacation. No one should be made to feel like an intruder in a space they paid for, or have their personal photos taken without permission. The rooms, amenities, and most of the staff are genuinely wonderful — this could easily be a 5-star review. But the way this situation unfolded on my final day made it impossible for me to recommend this hotel to my family and friends. .... One last thing worth mentioning.. the guest who caused this situation appears to be a frequent visitor to the resort you know .. "VIP Member". Unfortunately, that means your experience here may depend entirely on whether or not she happens to be there during your stay. 🫤

Went here for a “rental owner club” presentation. While the renovated rooms are beautiful, the breakfast was subpar. They consider an array of condiments a buffet. We took a tour of the property and they state they’re in a “renovation phase” but I think this is in part an excuse for the trash on site. Best parts: the rooms, cenotes, and the beach. Worst parts: the food, the trash

We have been members since 2012 and are experienced Google reviewers. This review is intended to provide an accurate and balanced reflection of our recent stay so future guests can make informed decisions. The food quality and consistency were below expectations. While there is a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, the hot food and restaurant meals varied significantly. On multiple occasions, the same dish was ordered at the same table and arrived noticeably different each time, despite the menu having a clear description. Changes were not communicated and meals were simply served as presented. Dining felt functional rather than enjoyable. Restaurant and buffet hours also do not overlap, which can create gaps with no food available unless meals are carefully timed. We also experienced issues with basic beverage access. While on the beach with our children at approximately 10:40 am, we attempted to get water or juice and were told service did not begin until 11:00. When asking if a water bottle could be provided, we were told to wait the remaining twenty minutes. This resulted in having to walk back to the hotel to get water and then return once service opened, which was inconvenient and avoidable, especially with children present. It is unclear if this is standard policy or individual enforcement, but it was frustrating in the moment. Although the resort is marketed as family oriented, our experience suggests it may not be ideal for families with younger children. Activity rules appeared inconsistent and often depended on staff discretion. We were frequently unable to participate in activities with our kids, and the kids club age restrictions resulted in one child being allowed while the other was not. Guests with mobility concerns should be aware that many tours and activities we inquired about were unavailable and alternatives were limited. We were informed two years ago that renovations would be completed. However several areas remain closed and poorly maintained, particularly around the mangroves where garbage was visible. Staff indicated this was related to ongoing renovations. Some internal water areas appeared murky and had noticeable odors. Beyond spending time at the beach, activity options felt limited. Wildlife especially coatis were very common throughout the property and frequently accessed garbage and unattended guest belongings. Service levels have changed compared to past visits. While some staff were polite, overall attentiveness and consistency did not meet what we previously experienced. Given our long history with the property, this visit was disappointing. While the resort still has potential, we left feeling discouraged and uncertain about continuing our investment.

I am here now celebrating my birthday. We are members and just recently upgraded. Geo was amazing and explained all the perks we were unaware of. Customer service is amazing. Cesar, Jose, Ariel, Rosa, and Alexander were very accommodating and amazing. Now let me tell the worst part of this vacation. Leon is one of the worst individuals I've ever encountered while visiting here. He is nasty and very condescending! I had an encounter, not once but again last night while celebrating my birthday in the sports bar. My husband finally saw that this guy doesn't like me, and it's okay he doesn't have to. I overheard him speaking about me in Spanish to his colleagues who surpringly disagreed with him. Nonetheless, my husband walked over to him and asked his name. I love this place and did not let my encounter with him affect this review. However, I just hope I don't see him for the remainder of my stay. Other staff apologized to me for his actions.
