Hello, We vacationed here from April 6th- April 10th. We had a great time but did have some minor problems. First, when we got to the hotel we were welcomed, and told us to go to the concierge, we went there but the lady told us to come back after we have breakfast. So we did, when we came back she didn’t attend us because she was with another family and she recommended going to the pool and come back in a while, again we came back and she was gone. No one of the staff members who checked us in told us about the amenities and events they were going to use for Easter weekend. We did enjoy the first day playing soccer and enjoying the family pool- although we noticed and kept stepping on loose tiles in the pool. The beach isn’t the best as the water is not clear and looks really brown. In addition, one of the reasons we booked here was because on the Expedia posting it said they provide free transportation to the Xcaret parks - they don’t to regular visitors, only to members. Bummer! The rooms we nice. Our room was clean but did noticed the door to the shower was falling off the hinges, which we called it to he fixed and no one came to fix it. Also, when stepping into the balcony we would get a foul smell from the downstairs private pools that were not clean. The water was brown and murky. In all, the staff members were nice and polite, and the wild life was cool to experience.

😬 Beautiful hotel, but an uncomfortable incident you should know about before booking.. I want to start by saying that my first stay at this hotel was one of my favorite vacations in Cancún — the rooms, amenities, restaurants, and staff were truly exceptional. That experience was so memorable that I decided to return this year. Unfortunately, this visit left me with mixed feelings I feel compelled to share with anyone considering this hotel. On my last day, while I was taking photos to remember my trip, I was approached in a disrespectful manner by a guest identified as a VIP member. She asked me to leave the beach area through the red bridge — a zone that was never described anywhere on the hotel's website or check-in materials as restricted to a specific category of guests. To make matters worse, she photographed me without my consent, which is not only invasive but also illegal under Mexican law. "Offering premium benefits to VIP members is perfectly understandable, but those benefits should never come at the expense of other guests' dignity and comfort". Everyone who books this hotel has worked hard to afford a relaxing vacation. No one should be made to feel like an intruder in a space they paid for, or have their personal photos taken without permission. The rooms, amenities, and most of the staff are genuinely wonderful — this could easily be a 5-star review. But the way this situation unfolded on my final day made it impossible for me to recommend this hotel to my family and friends. .... One last thing worth mentioning.. the guest who caused this situation appears to be a frequent visitor to the resort you know .. "VIP Member". Unfortunately, that means your experience here may depend entirely on whether or not she happens to be there during your stay. 🫤

Hacienda Tres Rios is a clean, quiet resort. It's approximately 40 minutes from the Cancun airport. The property is well maintained with few wild animals running around. The staff offers some of the best service that I've experienced in Mexico. On the downside, the resort is quite small with limited activities for adult entertainment. The food also leaves much to be desired.

We had a family spring break Vacatom and was tricked into this timeshare presentation by this hotel group. Promised 90 to120. Minutes but actually wasted our whole day. Hotel pick up 7.15 am so we had to wake up by am. Took 2 transportation outside cancun 1 hr away, passed armed trop blockage on the road, went deep inside hotel, no Uber, No taxi app service. When we honored their therm time 120 min done by 11.20 am. They tricked us, said your group wont be done till 1.30pm so no transportation. Which mean we will not back to hotel by 3pm, dragging 2 small children. We decided to pay taxi and get the heck out, their hotel staff jacked up price $80 to drop of to a near town 20min. We demanded a registered taxi and the guy only charge $40 to puero moralos and catch a uber only $20 moremore

Overall not a great place to stay food was sub par at best amenities and events on the resort are stretched thin if they exist at all. Menu items arrive completely different than what is described. The only thing that made our trip enjoyable to be quite honest was our servers and bartenders we found that Carlos (or dex ter! ) was our favourite by far super friendly very knowledgeable and went over and above for drinks/food or w.e we needed. Likewise for jose he was serving us at the adult bar as well as the family pool throughout the week. we also had Victor for pool sode service who was also amazing. For the beach sode we had Jonah and he was amazing as well thank you gentlemen for making our trip enjoyable given that the rest was not so enjoyable. Hermina at the Omellette buffet is by far one of the nicest ladies here and also cares about what she does we had food allergies and she went out of her way to get things to clean and prepare the station so tjat we too could enjoy some food. She was the only one to do this out of any of the places we ate. We looked forward to going to the sports bar for Carlos the beach for Jonah the pool for Victor and Jose and hermina for our ommellette every morning thank yiu again!
