We had such a wonderful day at La Pirogue in Mauritius with a day pass. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and accommodating. A special thank you to Pamela, who greeted us on arrival and without any hesitation, made sure everyone at the hotel was aware of my dietary requirements. It was so reassuring to know that the team was informed and that I wouldn’t have to keep explaining my requirements throughout the day. As I’m vegan, I really appreciated how attentive everyone was. They prepared delicious vegan pancakes especially for me at breakfast, and the chef also prepared a lovely three-course lunch with my dietary needs in mind. Everything was fresh, thoughtful, and delicious. We also had a great time using the kayaks and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff at the restaurant were especially lovely - Kamla was absolutely wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout lunch. Everyone we met was so friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating, and they really made us feel looked after. I would definitely recommend La Pirogue, especially to anyone who is vegan or has food allergies or other dietary requirements. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you to Pamela, Kamla, the chef, and the entire team for making our day so special. We would absolutely love to come back! 🌴☀️

We had a great stay and really enjoyed our vacation at La Pirogue. One of the biggest highlights was the wide range of complimentary water activities. We loved using the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards almost every day. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The only downside was the number of insects, especially in the evenings, but that’s probably something to expect in a tropical destination. The buffet restaurant was good, with a decent variety of food. However, the lunches at Magenta were outstanding. The fresh fish was excellent, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. A very special thank to Kamla, who took such great care of us during our lunches. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always made us feel at home. Our son absolutely loved her, and she made our stay even more memorable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mauritius.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at La Pirogue and can highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean every day, the entire resort has a beautiful atmosphere, and especially in the evenings the ambience is simply stunning. The combination of the tropical setting, the lighting, and the relaxed vibe made every evening very special. What truly made our stay outstanding, however, was the excellent service. A special thank you goes to Dya and Nirmal, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. Their professionalism and warm attitude really made a difference and added a personal touch to our holiday. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay such a memorable experience. We would definitely love to come back!

Wow!! What a beautiful place. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a beach bure making it extra special. A stunning long lagoon beach, fringed with perfect white sand, outer reef for diving. There is lots of space so no one feels crowded, lots private space on the beach. Lovely swimming pool surrounded by several restaurants and cafes whether you prefer cafe, buffet or à la carte. Lots of choice. Can also walk next door to Sugar Beach resort with reciprocal facilities although I didn’t feel the need to do this. Plenty of free activities plus alternatives for boating, fishing and diving.

Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well looked after, and had a memorable experience. My mom celebrated her birthday during our stay, and the team helped make it feel truly special. She had an amazing experience, and we are very grateful for the kindness and attention shown to us.
