We had a wonderful 7-night stay at La Pirogue and can highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean every day, the entire resort has a beautiful atmosphere, and especially in the evenings the ambience is simply stunning. The combination of the tropical setting, the lighting, and the relaxed vibe made every evening very special. What truly made our stay outstanding, however, was the excellent service. A special thank you goes to Dya and Nirmal, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. Their professionalism and warm attitude really made a difference and added a personal touch to our holiday. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay such a memorable experience. We would definitely love to come back!

From the beautiful setting to the relaxing atmosphere, everything was perfect — but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. My mother and I spent seven wonderful days at La Pirogue Hotel. We loved everything! The staff were friendly and always ready to help and answer any questions. The bungalow rooms were great, with authentic interiors. The grounds were large, green, and well-kept, with constant maintenance. Breakfasts were good and dinners were incredible, with a wide variety of food and desserts. Thank you very much for an unforgettable vacation.

Our 6-night stay was wonderful, made even more special by the exceptionally warm and friendly staff. If feeling welcomed and at home is important to you, this is definitely a place to consider. This is not a hotel for those seeking luxury, but rather for travelers looking for quality holidays in a great location, with good food and genuinely attentive service. One small nuance that was slightly disappointing: while the idea of refillable reusable water bottles in the room is excellent, guests arrive at different times, and in my case, I arrived late in the evening with a half-board package. Upon check-in and entering the room with luggage, there was no clear information that the drinking water in the minibar comes at an extra charge, and that to access complimentary water, you need to find refill stations around the hotel. From a human perspective, after a long journey, fatigue naturally reduces attention and focus—you arrive, want to settle in, have a drink, freshen up, and rest. The concept itself is great, but for some travelers, especially on the first night, it may feel a bit inconvenient. As I was traveling with a group, it was kindly suggested that we would be introduced to the hotel facilities after a night’s rest. Also, knowing that hotel operations are complex and involve many moving parts, I communicated with several staff members both before arrival and on-site. Unfortunately, a request to arrange a birthday greeting for one of my group members was missed, even though it had been reconfirmed multiple times. These things can happen, especially when teams are busy and information flow can sometimes be slower than expected. All in all, I would still recommend coming here to relax and enjoy your stay at La Pirogue.

Hotel & Buffet: Beautiful hotel on the beach with great pool, facilities and lovely rooms! We had the dinner and breakfast buffet and there were a lot of options and a different theme each night. Lobin was extra wonderful at our various requests and we really appreciate him and all the staff for their attention to detail and going out of their way for making the stay truly lovely. Thank you! Restaurant: Perfect lunch on the beach at Le Morne restaurant! Anand was so kind and such a great host. The food was delicious and appreciate that there were many vegan options!
