We have been here 3 times now. The hotel is immaculately kept. The rooms are being refurbished to bring them a more contemporary feel but are large and comfortable in any case. The first time we visited we went for the cheapest room which gave us a magnificent view of the los Gigantes cliffs but the downside was the road outside which could be noisy early mornings due to the delivery trucks. The last two times we have visited we upgraded to platinum which means our room overlooks the whole complex and out to sea and the island of la gomera. We deliberately leave our patio doors open to hear the gentle sea at night. It’s well worth the upgrade with a separate dining area that isn’t so busy, a private lounge area with self service to proper drinks - no unbranded substitutes and the infinity pool and bar/food area that has lovely options that meant we didn’t need to go near the main restaurant for lunch. It’s not that much more expensive than normal all inclusive so definitely worth the upgrade. My wife loves it so much she is taking a friend in September as well as our usual January escape to the warm weather. The entertainment is very good but we missed most of it do to being so tired and it starting at 9.45pm. It’s a fantastic place to explore the island from. We hire a car and leave it on the road outside and go all over the island from here. It’s easy to get to the north and Masca and we regularly travel over the mountain to go various routes to the north east. Overall it’s good value for money and well worth considering.

Our stay at Hotel Landmar Playa La Arena was simply outstanding. From the very first moment, the level of service sets this hotel apart. The staff is exceptionally kind, approachable, and professional. They are always attentive, efficient, and genuinely friendly, making you feel truly welcomed rather than just another guest. The buffet deserves special recognition. It is varied, generous, and of very good quality. There are options for every taste, with well-prepared dishes and enough rotation to keep meals interesting throughout the stay. Everything is well presented and constantly replenished. What truly elevates the experience is the Platinum wristband. It is absolutely worth it. The exclusive area adds a sense of calm and comfort that makes a real difference. The infinity pool is stunning, with beautiful views and a much more relaxed atmosphere. The self-service bar located in this area is extremely convenient, allowing you to enjoy drinks without waiting, in a quieter and more refined setting. Overall, the hotel combines excellent facilities with outstanding human service. We would definitely return and strongly recommend choosing the Platinum option to enjoy the full experience.

I would just like to personally thank the Animation Team for helping to make the holiday what it was. Entertainment was top notch and the enthusiasm from all the members was immense! Irene, Andrea and Manu clearly know what the hotel guests want and go above and beyond all expectations. Spent a week here but can honestly say I will be back again at some point to sample the hospitality from all staff and the awesome culinary delights that were on offer daily. Rooms were nice and clean and had a great view of the ocean. Take your own cup and Isabel and the other bar staff will happily put your favourite tipple into it. Tip the bar staff and they won’t let you down!

I spent a week at the hotel and felt incredibly comfortable. 🥳 From reception to the service staff and the kitchen team, everyone was absolutely friendly and very professional. I'd especially like to mention the animation- and sports team: Andrea Asemota, Manu (Italy), Irene (Italy) and Maria. Their fantastic offerings like water gym, water relax, water volley, water rugby or Archery made my days perfect and we had great fun. ☀️ I look forward to seeing each and every one of them again soon, because we parted as really good friends. It was really hard for me to leave. So, see you soon! 🥰

Spent a very relaxing week at the hotel, we had opted for the platinum package, which we are very happy we did so. Platinum pool area is well kept and had a good selection of drinks and food throughout the day. We had hired a car for the week, plenty of parking around the hotel, so didn’t use their car park. Would recommend if you want to eat at the Arena restaurant in the evenings, contact the hotel in advance and book before arrival, we were not told this was only open Sunday and Mondays, and as a result, were unable to book in. We did however use the Macaronesia food truck restaurant twice, the service was really good and the selection of food was good. Would also recommend using the grill restaurant at lunchtime if you want a lighter lunch. - shoutout to Andrea who served us both times in both restaurants, a friendly person, who provides great service. As someone who suffers with a food intolerance, the food signage in the Lava restaurant was good, everything was clearly labelled. Would like to mention our waitress (almost every breakfast) Luz Marina for making us always feel so welcome and looking after us (and bringing us strawberry juice each morning!) Would also like to mention both Damian and Anton - both really kind and helpful throughout our stay. Hope to one return as we throughly enjoyed our time there.
