I love this place first time here. Last day today so sad to leave. The beds are comfy and the room was cleaned and tidied daily. The food is wonderful 😋 hot, tasty, varied and plentiful. We didn't bother with the a la carte as got mixed reviews by others. There's great evening entertainment to suit anyone. There's a lovely walk to Los Gigantes and bars and restaurants just outside, but most importantly the staff are so warm and welcoming which seems to make all the punters so friendly too. A special shout out to Irene who was part of the daily pool entertainment team who is just a very special human being and the hotel are very lucky to have her. We will be back

I would just like to personally thank the Animation Team for helping to make the holiday what it was. Entertainment was top notch and the enthusiasm from all the members was immense! Irene, Andrea and Manu clearly know what the hotel guests want and go above and beyond all expectations. Spent a week here but can honestly say I will be back again at some point to sample the hospitality from all staff and the awesome culinary delights that were on offer daily. Rooms were nice and clean and had a great view of the ocean. Take your own cup and Isabel and the other bar staff will happily put your favourite tipple into it. Tip the bar staff and they won’t let you down!

A great place you simply want to come back to. The service is fantastic — everyone is kind, attentive, and highly professional. The food is tasty and varied. You can admire beautiful sunsets from the hotel. Special thanks to Mr. Damian, who takes excellent care of the guests’ comfort and well-being, and who knows how to make the evenings truly enjoyable with a great musical performance. All of this makes the days in this hotel feel blissful — exactly the way holidays should be. The only downside is that you always feel like your stay was too short. ;)

Spent a very relaxing week at the hotel, we had opted for the platinum package, which we are very happy we did so. Platinum pool area is well kept and had a good selection of drinks and food throughout the day. We had hired a car for the week, plenty of parking around the hotel, so didn’t use their car park. Would recommend if you want to eat at the Arena restaurant in the evenings, contact the hotel in advance and book before arrival, we were not told this was only open Sunday and Mondays, and as a result, were unable to book in. We did however use the Macaronesia food truck restaurant twice, the service was really good and the selection of food was good. Would also recommend using the grill restaurant at lunchtime if you want a lighter lunch. - shoutout to Andrea who served us both times in both restaurants, a friendly person, who provides great service. As someone who suffers with a food intolerance, the food signage in the Lava restaurant was good, everything was clearly labelled. Would like to mention our waitress (almost every breakfast) Luz Marina for making us always feel so welcome and looking after us (and bringing us strawberry juice each morning!) Would also like to mention both Damian and Anton - both really kind and helpful throughout our stay. Hope to one return as we throughly enjoyed our time there.

We stayed at the Landmar Hotel Playa La Arena for a week in November 2025, having last visited back in 2019 before the rebrand, and wow—what an incredible experience! The hotel was amazing during our first stay, but this time it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home. They truly cannot do enough for you and always serve with a smile. A special mention to Damian, who greeted us warmly every morning and evening when we arrived for breakfast and dinner—such a lovely touch that made our stay even more memorable. The food is simply delicious, with a huge variety to choose from. The à la carte at the Macedonia Food Truck is unbelievable—the flavours, the presentation, and the portion sizes are incredible. An absolute must-try! The location is another big plus. Playa La Arena is quiet, quaint, and perfect if you’re looking for a more peaceful area of Tenerife while still having beautiful surroundings and everything you need close by. We loved every minute of our stay and we will 100% be back! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, amazing food, and a relaxing holiday experience.
