Absolutely beautiful resort. The staff was exceptional, so inviting and friendly and made every day so enjoyable. My husband and I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning with the wonderful Greilyn, Dario,Keiri, and of course Jakelin ready to serve and with smiling faces everytime! Also we can’t forget about Joel who was so accommodating every step of the way! The rooms were so nice and everyone was so helpful. We enjoyed all the conversations by the pool and beach with everyone too. A fabulous week all in all. Highly recommend Live Aqua Punta Cana!

I would have given a 5 star rating but we had to stay one night at a different resort because our reservation was changed due to there being a conference that bumped our first night. Bumped us from a butler swim up. It would have gone a long way if Live Aqua would have shown some remorse and offered us a complementary massage at the spa but alas nothing was offered and we just had to accept the bump otherwise we would have had to change our flights. The bump was to a resort called the W Punta Cana which we were told was nicer. Well it wasn't. The staff wasn't nice and the drive was longer from the airport. We got a swim up room, but no butler service. Funny thing is, after we had our first massage at Live Aqua (paid full price less a 15% discount because we were there with 8 people), two days later a spa representative offered us half off for each of us for a massage. Live Aqua could have made the situation right. They didn't, and for that the 3 star rating is warranted and very well deserved. If we didn't have a poor experience, a 5 star rating would have been given. The resort was beautiful. Our room was lovely. Majority of the staff were friendly. Room was maintained daily. Food was great.

Beautiful resort. Friendly enough staff but we spent the whole week avoiding them because of their CONSTANT attempt to discuss their “promotion” for you to come back to the DR. Just let us enjoy our trip. We watched so many people get swindled by friendly staff, it was so off putting. And when we weren’t available to the staff for face to face conversation, they called our room. No joke! We focused on having a good time at the party pool by the beach and we enjoyed champagne as often as possible. Food was eh. I recommend the Mediterranean restaurant for lunch (octopus and shrimp) and the Italian restaurant for dinner. The Japanese restaurant was next best, followed by the French restaurant.

I stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana with my mom, and overall we had a wonderful experience. I’ve been to Punta Cana several times and stayed at multiple resorts, but the food here was truly the highlight of the trip. It was noticeably better than other resorts I’ve stayed at in the past—fresh, flavorful, and consistently impressive. The room was absolutely gorgeous, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. There was some entertainment throughout the stay, the drinks were really good, and the atmosphere felt relaxed yet upscale. We did have a small issue with the phone in our room and room service, but it was minor and didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’ve stayed at Fiesta Americana properties before (their family-friendly brand) and always loved the food, which is exactly why I wanted to try Live Aqua. It definitely lived up to my expectations. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’m already looking forward to visiting their Cancun property next. My mother and I also use the spa while we were there and we both had such a wonderful massage and the hydro therapy pool is totally worth it!

Tremendous service, top notch! Live Aqua will not disappoint. Amenities are readily available and grounds space is adequate for all guests. This resort is far from over crowded and the weather is perfect for relaxation. Cabanas, pools, ocean, and all the service you would dream of and more! The spa is a heavenly experience to say the least. 10/10 spa and hydrotherapy pool. It is a must for your stay!
