We had a wonderful stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and the service truly stands out. The beach was excellent, with comfortable loungers, plenty of space, and very little seaweed. A sincere thank you to Yohangel for taking such great care of us at Liberi and Miraflores, along with Yuleisy, Angela, and Daniela for their consistently warm service. Our butler Reynaldo was attentive, responsive, and always available for anything we needed. Angelo at the VIP beach made every day relaxing and kept us well hydrated and fed. Dining overall was great, especially Sospiro, Chez Rose, and Seishin. The breakfast buffet and beachside lunches were also consistently very good. That said, management made a seriously poor decision that is hard to excuse. Heavy equipment was operated on the beach overnight directly outside guest rooms, and from about 1:30 am to 5:00 am we were kept awake by loud diesel engines and the constant beeping of backup alarms in our Tierra Suite (Building 8). This is simply unacceptable at a five-star resort. Continuing this work despite guest complaints shows a lack of respect for guests and very poor judgment by management. The staff were outstanding and did everything they could, but management needs to take accountability for keeping guests awake virtually all night and ensure this never happens again. It truly shows a lack of respect for guests and for the hard work their staff do every day to ensure guest satisfaction.

Awesome experience here, smaller resort compared to others but it dosent feel small. Great beach location and excellent staff. The only downside was room service food was not good and not enough breakfast options, just one buffet and we felt the food there was always cold. All other restaurants for lunch & dinner were awesome. Great drinks!! We stayed in the Tierra suite and it was amazing, private pool and beach front. Our mayordomo was awesome, David C. & Angelo at the beach service was amazing as well. Shoutouts to Emilia at the main lobby bar and Ligmy (hibachi chef) at Seishin. Customer service here is top notch & the entertainment team is awesome. High caliber resort, GO HERE.

Over the years, we’ve stayed at resorts like Sunscape and Dreams, with our last visit to Dreams being around 2018–2019. After COVID, we finally returned to celebrate my birthday and decided to stay at Live Aqua and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful and very clean, and the weather during our stay was perfect. What really made the trip special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. A special shout-out to Delvin, the manager of the pool area, whom we’ve known for many years from our previous visits to Dreams. Seeing him again made the trip even more special. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience—from helping with food and accommodations to making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. The restaurant staff were also fantastic, especially at the Italian restaurant and the buffet. The food was excellent, and one highlight was the authentic Dominican food that Delvin arranged for us through one of the hotel’s chefs—it was outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, and housekeeping did a wonderful job throughout our stay. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Absolutely beautiful resort. The staff was exceptional, so inviting and friendly and made every day so enjoyable. My husband and I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning with the wonderful Greilyn, Dario,Keiri, and of course Jakelin ready to serve and with smiling faces everytime! Also we can’t forget about Joel who was so accommodating every step of the way! The rooms were so nice and everyone was so helpful. We enjoyed all the conversations by the pool and beach with everyone too. A fabulous week all in all. Highly recommend Live Aqua Punta Cana!

We stayed in the Viento Suite Ocean View it was expensive but worth it. We had the second floor and rooftop looking out over the beach to the ocean it was beautiful and the sound of the waves was mesmerizing. The room was good size and the bed was very comfortable and a fully stocked bar and fridge. The cleaning service came twice a day once in the morning then mid afternoon they did a great job. Our butler Ronaldo was fantastic everything we asked for was done quickly and always with a smile . The staff was friendly and always smiled. The restaurant I enjoyed was the French, Italian and Mexican the Sport bar food sucked and the morning breakfast buffet ( opens at 7:00 am ) I suggest getting there first thing when the food is fresh because after a couple of hours the quality of the food gets bad. The beach was the best it was clean and well maintained, plenty of seating and the servicers were great at getting your drinks and food. We didn't watch any of the shows but from talking to other guests they said that they were good. The guest ages are from 20 to 75 (I'm guessing) and 90% white the other 10% were African, Asian, Latino. Now for the not so good experience starting with the maintenance crew these people were everywhere cleaning both inside and outside of the main buildings all day long including the landscapers it was annoying and noisy. Then came the night crew for two nights throughout the entire night they were doing construction on the beach planting palm trees and leveling the beach with a construction tractor it was so annoying so I and other guests complained to management about it. Also the place is noticeably aging I think it's time for remolding of the buildings and rooms but the pools were great very clean and nice. So the two things I say were the very best was the beach and the service but everything else was ok. The question is will I go back and the answer is no once was enough.
