Went there in November 2025 and had an excellent time. Beach and resort was beautiful. Staff was so friendly especially Woody at the front desk was very helpful and very friendly. Food, resort, entertainment and especially the huge pool was awesome. Will definitely be going back.

Black Friday of 2025 I booked a stay for the following year at this resort. The price was fantastic. A few months prior to our trip, our flight days got changed by the airline. This trip was no longer possible for us. I sent an email asking for my fully refundable deposit to be refunded. The first email was sent on 9/9/2026. I've yet to receive a response from the resort. I sent 4 follow up emails over the course of the last 2.5 weeks and still have yet to receive a reply. Not sure how else to get the reservation canceled and deposit refunded. I advised them that if I did not hear back I would take to posting a review hoping that would cause them to respond to an email, but that still has yet to happen.

The majestic colonial and elegance have been incredible for me and my fiance. The staff has been so accommodating and the resorts have been awesome. We came during Super Bowl Seattle vs. NE. The resort staff put together some fun football games for the big day. Franklin ran the games and was perfecto for keeping everyone hyped up. It was an awesome day.

I love this place, the pool, the beach, the activities, the people!! SO FUN. FRESA and HECTOR are awesome. 😁 This is my second time here because I loved it so much! I needed to add to my review, because MAURO and JENNIFER were wonderful as well!! I've been to a lot of resorts, and I've never had people like this that made me feel like a welcome friend. 💕 And all the others, they always had a friendly "Hola." I loved the evening beach party, the soap bubble party, the Michael Jackson show (WOW!), and the circus show. And a shout out to the best bartender, ALEJANDRO! I asked him for his drink recommendation and he made me the prettiest and one of the most delicious cocktails I've ever had!! With yummy fruit/seeds (passionfruit?). And seriously, the food is the BEST - I ate like a queen! I dreaded going back home and I will be back again for a third time. UPDATE: 2026, I came back for a third time. Loved it all over again! Wonderful ALEJANDRO, was still here! New people like HONEY, she was very sweet just like her name. And MARISOL in the dining area was the best - she brought us a bunch of coffee creamer packets we were missing in our room. MARINEZ the beach bartender was excellent. Most of the other employees were also friendly and welcoming. The only negative: The second and third day no one replaced our coffee or creamer packets, and we had to request them. They did bring a pitcher of coffee and milk to our room when I called the front desk! And there were a bunch of days when housekeeping did not replace hand towels and face towels- they put out one hand towel for two people. 😖 But the mini bar was always freshly stocked with water, which is very important. The Amstar excursion to Bavaro Adventure Park was awesome!!! We also went on an excursion to Saona Island, which was also excellent.

We have had a great vacation here. My kids and husband have all loved the resort, the food and the people. We would deff come back and recommend it to friends. Bingo and games by the pool with Victoria have been so fun.
