Rooms are nice. Very friendly and approachable staff. Very sociable and they run mini events around the pool (today it was bingo). Great to see vs our last hotel that seemed very ‘clinical’. Disappointed by the pricing. Given a $ amount per night, that we paid upfront. But then when we get to the hotel, charged an extra $25/night for fees. Huh? Apparently fees are for “free drinks” between 4-5… although a very small selection (2 wines; 3 beers). My wife drinks wine, but only moscato. That isn’t on the list of free wine, so we paid $9 a glass and didn't get part of the “fees” back. So the “free drinks” are not actually free and you are paying for a service (free drinks) that you may not use. If a fee is mandatory, then include it in the advertised price, not a tacked on $ amount afterwards. Seems shady to include it afterwards.

Disappointing stay at the Melia. This does not seem like it is a 4 star resort, which is what we thought we were booking. Firstly, we were put in an adjoining room with strangers and could hear everything! And we mean everything: from them tearing open the wrapper for their coffee, the entire coffee making process, and every word they spoke and they were not being loud at all. It was like they were in our room with us. Then the staff started vacuuming the hallways outside our door at 7:30am. And again so loud. My daughter joked that if we punched the walls, we’d probably tear right through them. Next were the mosquitos. We live in Florida so we expect them, but we must have killed at least 6 in our room which had no door/open window and was far into the building, so we don’t know how they were getting in. And then the blood or-something-similar stain that was on one of the pillows. And a dirty coffee pot, so I went and bought a coffee at the restaurant which was $7.53 plus tip for a very small cappuccino. That’s the negatives. I am giving them 2 stars though as the staff were nice, the bed was comfy, and besides what I mentioned above, the rest of the room and bathroom were clean, and it was a great location, but we would not stay here again.

We have stayed at the Melia Orlando Celebration several times. Any of the rooms we stayed in are always very clean and always provided with several towels. The staff are professional, courteous and helpful. The rates are also reasonable. We are always very pleased with the time we have spent there.

She made everything smooth, stress-free, and I felt confident because she explained every step. I truly appreciate her support and great service. Plus a huge shout out to the whole front desk team, as soon as we walked in, they were so welcoming to us and made us feel special!!! Thank you Meliá hotel for this great experience!!

Great resort, the rooms were clean, comfortable beds, with a fridge. Staff was great, especially Iberica who was very helpful and assisted us when we needed to change rooms. She was accomidating and welcoming. Also, this hotel is walking distance to a few restaurants, in addition to the hotel restaurant. Nice pool too.
