Speaking Truth
We have been here three times. All 3 times we did a villa with butler service. I wouldn’t do it any other way. The villas are furnished beautifully secluded and ever so comfortable. Everything is taken care of, you receive a cell phone to call your butler day or night. They arrange all your spa services in Your Villa or at the spa. They take care of all your reservations you’re outings. Your butlers know you anticipate your needs. My husband and I had a private area on the beach outside of our villa away from everybody ❤️🙌🏻🏝️our butler had our chairs and cabana ready every day. Lovely coolers filled a red stripe bottles of waters, pillows, towels everything we needed was ready and waiting for us. If you wanted to get out of the heat to cool off The butlers set up lunch in your living room for you enjoying the ocean view. The red lane spa has just everything you need. There’s a store on site that has everything from Cuban cigars, souvenirs, Snacks etc. if you don’t feel like making the trip to the store your butter will go for you. The turn down Service every night and the Floral baths That were drawn at night with fresh flowers and aromatherapy was just heavenly. Every single restaurant at the resort is just amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this Resort. We will definitely, be back soon. We’ve gone at Christmas, Spring time, and in the fall. Every time it was just magnificent, romantic and beautiful. If you want a completely relaxing week or two…. Where you don’t have to make any decisions other than what bathing suit you’re going to wear or what dress to wear to dinner, this is for you! Having high stress jobs, it’s nice to have a place like this that just takes care of all your needs and decision making. It’s just a great wonderful escape from reality and worth every penny.

We loved sandals for our honeymoon!!! We were there in July 2025 and everyone made us feel so at home. The entertainment staff at this resort was ASTOUNDING!!! They truly felt like family and I definitely am so grateful because it felt like home away from home. What a great establishment. The food was awesome and my husband and I had a great time. I will say food service is a little slow but that’s as expected because you’re on “island time”. But other than that, amazing! Thank you Sandals!!!

I will start by saying those who complain- you’re the problem 1. You can’t get any better than being 7 minutes from the airport with a prompt pickup after sliding through Club Mobay 2. The second we hit the resort (this is our 7th Sandals stay) everyone could not have been nicer, every single person/staff we encountered would say hi- ask how the day was- if we needed anything 3. The food actually was pretty good. Keep in mind- portions are smaller than home (which is prob for the best) but we didn’t have a bad meal. Got into Butchs twice/ they recently updated their menu and I LOVED IT (also they now offer a sit down breakfast which I think is new) 4. Get the signature roll from Soy 5. Get the Espresso Martini from the bar next to Soy/Butchs 6. To our butlers Dalton & Cassandra. Thank you. Thank you for being the warm, stress free energy we both needed. Thank you for the incredible lunches, the small details that made our anniversary trip unforgettable and the daily hugs (Cassandra). You have the most tiring job but you do it with a smile on your face and I wanted to let you know how much you are appreciated 7. Take care of the orange kitty Book the trip- make the memories and can’t wait to see you all again soon!!!

I have to share my horrible experience as a warning to anyone potentially booking with Sandals resorts in general. Before I tell my story let me start by saying I understand weather and storms are out of their control but how they handle things going forward is. I had booked my Honey Moon at Sandals Montego Bay for November of 2025. Due to the hurricane we were not able to go. I called them to reschedule and selected a request for a call back. I made that call 3 times with no call back. I then called again and waited on hold for 2 hours and 18 minutes only to get disconnected as soon as someone picked up. I then called back again the next day, this time I sat on hold for 3 hours and 21 minutes before I finally spoke with someone. I successfully moved my trip to approximately the same time the following year. Here we are in March of 2026 and I receive correspondence from Sandals stating that they are making massive renovations to the properties in the area and they will not be ready in time for my travel dates. These dates are the only dates I could make this type of trip and Jamaica, simply put is where we wanted to go. I called to process a refund of the trip which they were willing to do but they refused to refund the cost of my trip insurance. Granted the trip insurance cost is not a lot of money but it is $250 that they are basically stealing from me. I did not cancel the first trip….the resort was destroyed, not their fault. I rescheduled, this time they are not able to honor the booking dates which is their fault, not mine. I should be refunded my full trip cost including my insurance fee. I spoke to a supervisor as well. Nobody cares. Terrible customer service and a guaranteed way to lose a customer forever.

This was first trip to a Sandals resort. We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. I especially loved the entertainment each night. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did, so that is something I will definitely look for in future travel resorts. The staff members were very courteous, helpful, and polite. We did appreciate the variety of restaurants at the resorts as well. I do wish there were more menu options for in-room dining for the times we just wanted to relax in our room and not go out to a restaurant. There was construction going on in a lot next to the resort (next to our building) that was bothersome at some times. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and the amenities that the resort had to offer. We will definitely be back for future Sandals vacations. Thank you for a wonderful trip for our first Sandals experience!
