There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Sanibel Inn is! We stayed here Monday-Thursday, leaving Friday morning. The entire Inn has been renovated as Hurricane Ian totally destroyed it. It was nice before the storm, but now it is absolutely stunning. The rooms are just gorgeous with so many amenities, as well as being sparkling clean. Every one there was so pleasant and welcoming. The grounds have been totally transformed and are so lush and perfectly maintained, with beautiful flowering plants everywhere. Views from the room were lovely, even with the 3 foot iguana that ran by one afternoon! The GM, Bill Wellman, is probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever met . He assisted us with our reservations and could not have been more gracious. We could not have managed this trip without his assistance. We are already looking forward to visiting again next year. Bill-thank you again.

We initially booked two nights and decided to stay for a third! The resort is immaculate! The grounds are incredibly beautiful. Everything is maintained and up kept perfectly. Housekeeping does a fabulous job! The rooms were very clean! And cleanliness is my top priority and what I look for. We had beautiful views of the water from the room. We enjoyed the screened balcony. We thought the updates were beautifully done. Had breakfast two mornings at Dante’s which was delicious. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!

Beautiful grounds right on the beach where they provide umbrella and loungers. All new clean and beautiful rooms (post Ian). Room is not huge but enough and nice, screened deck. Full fridge and micro but very small kitchen counter. Also small closet. Front lobby is 24 hours and has some supplies. Pool is nice and bar offered good service, lunch and drinks. Restaurant on property (separately owned) also offered good food, service and drinks.

We had a pleasant stay, and the room was nice. However I feel like some of the staff there are dresses too casually. One read haired woman from management was wearing a short skirt that you could see her her underwear through and white blouse that was see through also. Essentially just a short skirt and a bra, since the top was so transparent. I felt inappropriate and attention seeking. We're not paying these prices to be around that, it feels inappropriate. Maybe the owners will see this and consider a dress code. Beautiful place and great service otherwise. But we will look into a different hotel for our next stay, and ask the managers about appropriate staff attire.

This was my 6th time staying at the Sanibel Inn, and I'm always impressed with the staff, rooms and beautiful views. A shout out to Katherine the housekeeper. I asked her for some extra toiletries and with a big smile, she said that we're all family here. She truly made ME feel like family.
