Loved our trip. Great rooms. Great food. Great, great service. The staff were awesome. The negatives: (1) limited # of preferred bali beds. Had to get there 645am to get best ones, and by 745am, half were occupied. Other Bali beds located on property cost $$. (2) Our preferred room, which we loved the view, was located 8-10 minutes away and 4 flights up. Not bad, unless you want to go back to your room a couple of times a day. Not all room locations are like that. (3) The beach was covered with sargassum in May. There was no place to stick your feet in the Gulf and not have seaweed. Not the hotel's fault.

From the moment you arrive, you are treated like absolute royalty. The check-in process was seamless, the staff immediately make you feel welcome, and throughout the entire stay we felt genuinely cared for. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always making sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. The level of service at this resort is truly exceptional. The resort itself is stunning. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are modern and beautiful, and the property feels very safe, private, and exclusive. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, walking the beach, or enjoying our ocean view room, everything felt peaceful and luxurious. The food was, without exaggeration, some of the best we have ever experienced at an all-inclusive resort. Every meal was outstanding, with incredible quality, variety, and presentation. One thing we especially loved was that there was always something available to eat no matter the time of day. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, dinner, late-night snacks, or coffee and treats throughout the day, we never found ourselves searching for options. The nightlife and entertainment exceeded all of our expectations. There was always something fun happening around the resort, but it never felt overwhelming or noisy. Secrets Playa Mujeres has found the perfect balance between offering exciting activities and maintaining a relaxing atmosphere. We always had something to do when we wanted it, but could still enjoy the peace and tranquility of the resort. A special thank you to the entertainment team, especially Elizabeth and Carlos, who truly helped make our trip unforgettable. Their energy, kindness, and enthusiasm made every activity more enjoyable and created so many memorable moments throughout our stay. We would also like to recognize several incredible staff members who went above and beyond. Thank you to Ricardo from housekeeping for his outstanding service and hospitality. Thank you to bartenders Abraham and Diana for always providing excellent service with a smile, and to Fernanda at the Market Café for making every visit so enjoyable. These individuals are wonderful examples of the incredible staff throughout the resort. One thing that really stood out to us was how much the staff genuinely cared about guest wellbeing. During our stay, we unfortunately experienced a brief illness that affected a few members of our group. The resort staff immediately checked in on us, made sure we were comfortable, and even offered access to a doctor if needed. Their compassion and professionalism during that situation meant a great deal to us. Another huge advantage of staying at Secrets Playa Mujeres is the access to Dreams Playa Mujeres. Being able to enjoy the water park, lazy river, and additional amenities gave us the best of both worlds while still returning to our peaceful adults-only resort. Overall, Secrets Playa Mujeres exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The food was exceptional, the service was unmatched, the entertainment was fantastic, the property was beautiful, and the staff made us feel valued every single day. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already discussing when we can come back. We would recommend this resort without hesitation to anyone looking for a luxury all-inclusive experience in Mexico. We stayed here as a family of four and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The team greeting us at the entrance was warm and professional, and check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free thanks to Rafael, who went out of his way to make everything easy for us. The service throughout the resort was outstanding. All the restaurant staff were attentive, friendly, and consistently kind, making every meal enjoyable. A special thank you to Diego and Memo from the entertainment team they were incredibly friendly, energetic, and made the atmosphere even more fun. Poolside service was excellent, rooms were comfortable, and the overall organization and hospitality exceeded our expectations. We were truly satisfied in every aspect of our stay. We are already planning to come back next year. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and high-quality vacation.

For all inclusive, you win by showing up and getting all you paid for. Unfortunately, the service seemed to lack quite a bit. Multiple times/days without cleaning or servicing the room, the food through room service unfortunately tastes like someone else ordered it, didn't want it, and somehow it ended up in your room melted all together and Luke warm. I'll say our concierge tried very hard to make our stay great, Albin was amazing, and overall the trip was great too, but you don't want all inclusive to include garbage food and no matter what you want to do, it is a golf cart away, walking you get lost and eaten by bugs. Sorry for the negativity, but as good as Secrets is, we won't be going back for this one. Oh, and they made me late for both of my tee times despite calling the night before in preparation. It's a golf resort, prioritize golf

Awesome service and all of the staff are very accommodating. The rooms are so nicely upgraded and the whole resort seems fresh and new. The only downside is the distance from the airport, so be prepared for a long drive, it took us about an hour by shuttle, but once there it is totally worth the drive!
