My boyfriend and I just returned from Secrets Playa Mujeres and we have nothing bad to say about this place. It is beautiful with staff that is friendly and welcoming. The resort is peaceful and calm, but the activities and events make the nightlife exciting. During the day, they had activities like hat painting and finger painting lessons which made for a great souvenir to take home. The food is incredible! We did not have a bad meal and there was many options to chose from each night. The rooms were clean and we had no issue contacting housekeeping if we needed. The events at the theater, like the magic show, the African show, and the circus, were fun and exciting! The pools are super clean and not too crowded. During our trip, they had vendors come and sell souvenirs, paintings, etc which was sooo nice. We got a deep tissue couples massage which was amazing, and they offer additionally time in the spa as part of the experience. There was no reason to leave the resort because of how much they had! We will definitely be returning based off our experience here.

Had a wonderful trip and an amazing stay at the refurnished Secrets Playa Mujeres. The rooms are beautiful and the vanity for the ladies is a nice touch. The groups are just stunning, a perfect blend of tropical and modern which I loved the most and was hardest to find. The service was wonderful considering they are mostly all newer employees learning their jobs and will only improve with time. If there is something you are missing or expecting just ask! They really want to make you happy. The restaurants were all open and rotate except for the new Amazonian restaurant they are completing. Food was good to excellent and again feel like it will get even better as the new chefs get more comfortable with the menu but for all inclusive food overall was very good. The entertainment was great, lots of talent, and again feel they will add even more variety of shows in the theater and the new sports bar/night club is beautifully redone and has a really nice outdoor seating area where the dj also was doing silent disco. The golf cart service was a little slow but again for only being open a month since renovations, I think that will improve as well. The new preferred club building is beautiful and their restaurant KiKiChi had wonderful breakfasts and an awesome 7 course small plate dinner which had the best filet mignon and mashed potatoes that melted on your tongue. The drinks were some of the strongest I have had at an all inclusive which we appreciated not having to ask for an extra shot of alcohol in our drinks. The staff is friendly and fun! For anyone complaining about little things like mini bars not being restocked or service is slow etc., all I can say is you are in paradise at an amazing resort that will only get better every day! Have a drink and have some fun and don’t complain about the little things or take full stars off for one or two small complaints. Its a 4 diamond resort and a price point of less than most with this level! Enjoy :)

This resort was everything we hoped it would. A perfect balance of tropical but not jungle like, modern but not over the top where you don't feel like you're in Mexico. The staff were all wonderful to work with from the time we checked in until checkout. Was it perfect? No! They just reopened after a huge remodel of the resort. The usual opening hiccups but nothing that time won't correct. The brand new Preferred Club building with lounge and bar, a beautiful upstairs restaurant serving breakfast and the most amazing 7 course dinner with amazing view of the ocean, and a new pool area complete with Bali beds, really is a major perk. The restaurants are on rotation currently assuming due to occupancy being lower as they are still renovating some of the areas. Food was good to excellent and again think it will improve more as new staff adjusts. I wish they had a brick oven pizza outdoors like Secrets Maroma. They had the best pizza there! The theater and sports bar areas is a great set up and the shows were great. The silent disco is always fun but they need to have a better variety of music like 80's on one channel, Rock on another and then today's top hits maybe to make it fun for everyone and 3 channels like other resorts do but again I think still learning. Beautiful grounds and walkways. The golf cart wait varied at different times but again I think will improve. Overall, I think SPM is living up to the Secrets standards and will only get better every day and we will be back :)

We stayed here as a family of four and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The team greeting us at the entrance was warm and professional, and check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free thanks to Rafael, who went out of his way to make everything easy for us. The service throughout the resort was outstanding. All the restaurant staff were attentive, friendly, and consistently kind, making every meal enjoyable. A special thank you to Diego and Memo from the entertainment team they were incredibly friendly, energetic, and made the atmosphere even more fun. Poolside service was excellent, rooms were comfortable, and the overall organization and hospitality exceeded our expectations. We were truly satisfied in every aspect of our stay. We are already planning to come back next year. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and high-quality vacation.

We loved our time here at Secrets! We had the opportunity to enjoy both resorts, Dreams and Secrets. Great food, coffee, and guest experience. Our favorite part was the pool volleyball. Two staff in particular consistently went out of their way to make it fun and enjoyable for us, the entertainers Carlos and Memo!
