Had a great time at the resort with my family. Decent food, rooms, amenities that serve both adults and kids. The gym was clean and a big shoutout to Francisco for hosting the Functional Training class, one of my best ones. Had a minor incident involving my child which was no fault of the resort. The Manager on Duty Ivannia Alcazar sprung into action and under 90 mins, we received medical support at the resort around midnight. It just showed Sensira's commitment and values towards the guests. Kids and adventure club was fantastic as they have well structured programs running throughout the day with high safety standards. Thank you to the entire staff for making it such a memorable experience.

This resort is for kids! - Location is good, 25 mins from the aerosport, not in the main Cancun strip. Unpaved and unkept road to access hotel. - Food, very repetitive options, especially for dinner at the main buffet. Great omelettes by Dominico and Guadalupe. Service from Hesver and Diego. Pool side restaurant food is fantastic. Italian and steak restaurant are great with notable wait staff "Javier" and "Ana". Restaurant manager Freddi is very serviable and respectful of guests. The Mexican restaurant is strange as in Mexico you expect to have the most authentic food but no one from my group enjoyed it. Also, wish I didn't have to look at the menus on my phone. - Bar - drinks are fantastic and all staff is excellent, they even have a kids drink menu. - Rooms, are great and spacious. I did hear of some guest with humidity or water issues but they where moved to a new room. - Pools are cold and have a rough texture, can hurt skin of feet and knees. Also, please put a swim diaper on your child if not potty trained. Pools had to close because of accidents. - Beach is horrible, muddy and full of red seaweed. Water was warmer than the pools. - Entertainment team is ok, honorable mentions to Samy and Luis who are great with all guests. - Nightly shows are ok, Michael Jackson, Stars and Disney show are the best ones. - Tea house is fantastic. - Kids activities are all great - like I said this is a kids resort. - They are definitely investing in the resort appearance as continuous repairs can be seen. It could be from all the rain they had but there were definitely areas where you could smell methane/sewage. Concierge service is very friendly "Laura". Alvaro from guest relations is great. Wifi internet service is fast and fantastic.

LOCATION - 25 mins from airport, which is nice, but the road is unpaved and is so bumpy, your back is going to hurt after a ride. Beach is very small, and water is usually muddy, with some seaweed, but is decent overall. There is nothing nearby the hotel, you would have to get an Uber to get anywhere. SERVICE - Check in was very slow. We spent 1 hour in line trying to check in. At the buffet we had to wait quite a bit to get our drinks. Not all bartenders know what they're doing, but some of them are true gems, like Edwin. Bars are usually quick. Cocktails were very solid. Waiters by the pools do a good job too. Amber Suites attendants Rafael and Humberto were amazing and took care of us really well. ROOM - Room was very nice, with comfy bed and everything you need. If you get an Amber Suite, the room service will be included and you will have your own jacuzzi. It's worth it. FOOD - this is my pain point. There is ZERO difference in food options between Lunch and Dinner. Same offerings. Boring. People wait in lines to get meats, as they grill them only by request, and it takes time to cook. Pizza was barely OK. They have restaurants you can make reservations at for dinners, they're better than buffets for sure, but by no means fancy or mind blowing. Food was a disappointment overall. ENTERTAINMENT - Probably you win if you have kids with you - all shows are mostly targeting kids, and would be quite boring for adults. They have play rooms for kids and pools for kids. The shop is very nice, it has everything you'd want. A little movie theater, disco club that works every night are on site as well. Wi Fi is actually very very good, to be honest. OVERALL - We've travelled a lot and stayed in several resorts and this one is definitely 3 out of 5. Staff is very nice, service is nice, but for the price you won't be able to enjoy food, which is very important for us, or find lots of space or things to do (unless you have kids). We won't come back here for the price.

We recently stayed at Sensira Resort & Spa. While several staff members were exceptional and there were great moments, the overall experience was affected by inconsistent service, communication issues, and operational challenges. What We Loved: Outstanding Staff Diego (Front): Above and beyond. Helped with local recommendations, coordinated with our driver, and treated our family with genuine warmth. Buffet team: Irving, Eva, Javier & Diego (also Eduardo from the Italian restaurant m) were consistently kind, attentive, and welcoming. Entertainment team: Luis (amazing with our kids), Samantha, Elisa & the dancers brought great energy. Excursion desk: Roberto and Graciela were honest, helpful, and never pushy. Spa: Great experience with Juanpa, Ofelia & Sandra. Tea House: Roberto was patient, friendly, and made us feel welcome. Pool service (last day): Jacobo was incredibly attentive, efficient, and kind. Kids Activities: Zipline, rock climbing, mini-golf, nightly movies, shows, and a functional Kids Club. What Needs Improvement Food & Service Inconsistencies Poolside service was extremely slow (1 hour to order + 1 hour to receive food). Breakfast “rotation” meant bacon, hash browns, and sausages were only available during specific hours and never together. Items like green tea and guacamole often ran out and weren’t replenished. Several buffet stations were closed, and variety was limited. Cabanas & Towels No system for cabanas—people reserved them overnight without enforcement. Pool towels often unavailable after 6 PM. Coupon & Restaurant Confusion A $50 coupon couldn’t be used as expected (shrimp “sold out” but a non-coupon shrimp offered only at extra cost). We ended up not using the coupon and just ordered from the all-inclusive menu. Dress code for the adult-only restaurant wasn’t communicated when booking (Jorge handled it kindly). Check-In & Mixed Messages We weren’t told about included spa/restaurant credits. Mixed policies (e.g., one day no straws for environmental reasons, next day straws with drinks). Sometimes water bottles were available; sometimes not. Beach Condition Seaweed and even some garbage were not cleaned, making the beach unusable on several days. Last-Day Breakfast Issue Miscommunication about carrying food out of the buffet led to an unnecessarily uncomfortable interaction with staff. Overall Sensira has wonderful staff and great potential, but inconsistent service, lack of communication, shortages, and maintenance issues affected our stay. With better organization—especially around food service, cabanas, beach upkeep, and consistent messaging—the resort could offer a much improved experience

we stayed at Sensira for 18 days and had a great time... from the Reception with Ivan and Sandy, the Bellboys Emilio, Diego and Antonio, to the Poolbar with Zury, everything was fantastic and everyone was kind and professional. Then Alvaro and Erwin really made us feel good.... An excellent place but needs some changes in the different restaurants within the Resort. The coffee guys absolutely needs to be improved. They told us several times... mi casa es tu casa... it really was like that!! Sensira in our hearts
