We stayed at the Shangri-La Bangkok from the 27th to the 30th of June, and it was an absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a gorgeous riverside setting that makes you feel like you are in paradise. The location is completely on point—a perfect 10/10. It is incredibly scenic while still being exceptionally convenient for exploring the city. We booked a bed and breakfast package, and the breakfast was amazing. The food selection was vast and high quality, and eating in such a beautiful environment each morning was the perfect start to our day. Every single member of staff we encountered was amazing, incredibly welcoming, and went out of their way to look after us 😊

Just returned from a week's stay with my 2 kids. An exceptionally elegant, professional and beautiful hotel. The location is the best of all worlds-a quiet-ish low-rise area with direct river access, BTS stop, and an adjoining Central shopping centre with excellent (and cheap) food court. Because it's an older style resort it has very pleasant gardens that are missing from newer hotels. The room was immaculate and elegantly furnished. We got a Horizon club room with access to a club where they serve snacks and drinks all day-very handy for our kids, and us. The staff were so attentive, kind and experienced-every interaction we had was a pleasure. This is such a well oiled machine, and pretty good value all things considered. We're already planning our next visit

Our experience at Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok was a mix of disappointment and exceptional hospitality from the hotel management. We booked our stay through Booking.com, but the listing was misleading as it did not clearly explain that the hotel consists of two separate buildings—an older wing and a newer one. Unfortunately, our room was located in the older building, which is in need of significant renovation. The lights in our room flickered, there was a loud plumbing noise in the bedroom every time someone flushed the toilet, and the walls had noticeable black stains. These issues affected our initial impression of the hotel. The rooms in the old building are would greatly benefit from a full renovation. However, what truly made the difference was the outstanding service provided by the hotel management, especially Sandy and her team. Sandy went above and beyond to help me organize a surprise birthday celebration for my husband, arranging beautiful balloons, a delicious cake, and a wonderful dinner. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. When I raised my concerns about the room, Sandy responded immediately and arranged for us to be moved to a much great room. Her prompt action, genuine care, and commitment to guest satisfaction completely transformed our experience. Sandy and her team made our stay magical, memorable, and one we will always remember. They are a true credit to Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok.

We travel frequently, and so far this has been one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The customer service was exceptional, the rooms were beautiful and spotless, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food options. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and often anticipated our needs before we even asked. The hotel also has a beautiful view and an excellent location, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My only concern was that the pool closes at 8pm, whereas other Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts properties we’ve stayed at usually keep their pools open until 10pm. Extending the pool hours would make the experience even better.

Stayed at Shangri-La Bangkok and had a truly excellent experience. There was a small issue with our room upon arrival, but the hotel handled it immediately, professionally, and with genuine care. The team responded quickly, moved us to an upgraded suite that exceeded all expectations, and made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The level of service, hospitality, and attention to guests was exceptional. Every interaction with the staff was warm, respectful, and highly professional. What could have been a minor inconvenience was turned into an outstanding customer service experience, and we truly appreciated the way the hotel management handled everything. Highly recommended — beautiful hotel, excellent service, and a team that truly cares about its guests.
