Spring Hotel Bitacora

Ade Williams

For the third year running, we have just enjoyed a fantastic holiday at the Bitcora. This hotel has everything you would want for a couple getting away or a family with kids. The staff are always really polite, helpful and good fun. Andrès in particular did a great job of looking after us and making sure we had everything we needed. The UP! Dinner experience on Monday evenings is very good value and not to be missed! I highly recommend adding this after you arrive. Until we are back again next time, thanks and very best wishes!

We had an amazing stay, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was cleaned daily and always spotless, the food was delicious and very diverse, with different themed dinners every day. The location is perfect, very central, and several beautiful beaches are just a 5–10 minute walk away. During the day, the pool area was full of fun activities and entertainment, which created a great atmosphere for both adults and children. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is fantastic and in a great location; both the black sand beach and the white sand beach are within a 10-minute walk. Rooms: Comfortable beds, daily cleaning, and the staff are incredibly friendly! Restaurant: Varied breakfast and dinner options—we used the poolside snack bar for lunch, which suited us perfectly. The food is delicious, offering a wide range of flavors; a real plus is the dedicated breakfast corner for lactose-free and gluten-free items (cold cuts, cheese, milk, etc.), giving it an "ultra all-inclusive" vibe reminiscent of Turkey. Pool: There were plenty of sun loungers, so reserving one wasn't necessary, and the pool water was pleasantly warm. Evening entertainment was excellent; a great bonus was the roaming waitstaff, allowing you to order drinks right from your table! I was left with three negative impressions: 1. At breakfast, there were three types of plant-based milk and one lactose-free option, yet during the day, none of the bars offered even lactose-free milk for coffee. While the restaurant did provide a glass even when closed, this really ought to be a standard offering at the bars! 2. Coffee... decent espresso was only available in the UP section; the other machines made such bad coffee that I think an Italian would have committed suicide over the taste :) 3. Cocktails... unfortunately, they couldn't even get the basics right; Mojitos and Cuba Libres aren't exactly difficult to make, but they didn't really pull it off—so I stuck to gin and tonic... Despite this, we’ll likely go back next year, because in terms of value for money, this hotel is a 5-star experience

Stayed here for 7 nights for our anniversary, really lovely hotel great location. We did the Up! Full package all inclusive which was great we go an extra special tasting dinner with that and also the summer party on the Friday night with a DJ and pool access until late. It was brilliant - we came as a couple but there was so much here for families too. Would highly recommend! The activities team were fantastic, special shout out to Pelayo! We look forward to returning 💕

Great hotel, great entertainments. Good selection of food. Very nice that Not overcrowded by the pools, was easy to find a sunbed on every day. Also during all breakfast, lunch and dinner not too overcrowded too which is nice. Breakfast could be extended by 11am as wanted to sleep longer :) Entertainment team is great too with cool competitions. My son enjoyed slides, basketball area and game rooms. Very good location too.
