Sunrise Attitude, Mauritius – A Lovely Holiday with a Side of Room Number Verification - We had a fantastic two-week stay at Sunrise Attitude. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always happy to help. A special mention to Delphine, who went above and beyond throughout our stay and is a real credit to the hotel. Mauritius is stunning, the entertainment team worked tirelessly, and the food was good, although the buffet became a little repetitive after the first week. The cocktails varied in quality, the older rooms could do with updating, and having to collect your own tea, coffee and drinks supplies from the shop was a bit inconvenient. More toilets around the pool and restaurants would also be welcome. My only real gripe was being asked for our room number and whether we were all-inclusive every single time we visited a bar or restaurant. By the end of the holiday, I knew my room number better than my own phone number! Colour-coded wristbands would make life much easier. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful staff, and a relaxing atmosphere. We'd happily return—though next time I might have my room number printed on my T-shirt!

Hello Sunrise Attitude. I wanted to thank you all for the absolute wonderful service that I has experienced with you guys. Words truly can't do justice to this hotel, especially the wonderful atmosphere and the exceptional staff. I booked the private villa that came with a swimming pool. Ive loved the re-invented version of the Mauritian cuisine. My partner and I were in a food coma. I am so grateful for the wonderful birthday cake you arranged. It was a lovely gesture that made my stay even more memorable. The Australian Steak was divine. Huge thank you to Yeshna for being so patient with me, who has helped me with the booking and looking for dates back and forth. She has made all the booking and payments went smoothly since I was having issues with the payment links. The lady who did a smooth check in, thank you for the drinks. Dylan, whom on the eve of my stay, I've managed to get hold of to do the reservation of the restaurants and the cake. I really appreciated that day. It was stressful not to hear anything about it for a week. Neelam, KOT NOU, who looked after my partner and I on that day and made sure we had a perfect dinner. The food was WOW. but couldn't finish it all. Vicky, The Social House, who recommended me my starters. And has been checking on me till I moved by the pool with my drinksand dessert. And looked after my guests when I was checking out during lunch. Finally Kavy and Priano, those two who kept pouring in my glass and looked after my guests. Kavy, for accommodating my guests for lunch even though the hotel was full. Both has been a great company to me by the bar. So guys, heads up if you go to Papaya, look for them, best hosts ever !! Drinking Retreat Cheers guys ! Shameem, for the smooth check out. I wish I could explore the hotel more but your villa kept me occupied with the solace atmosphere. Sorry for the long review but you guys are worth it ! A MUST TRY, THE SORBENT(passionfruit and mango flavored) FROM THE SHOP. Until next time for sure.

A very well thought out hotel, with plenty of different areas to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. I particularly liked the "Quiet" pool. Food was more than acceptable and actually improved as our stay progressed. The hotel's "Food truck" restaurant was ideal for a lunchtime snack. Access to the beach was excellent with plenty of sunloungers. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Mr.Emmanuel kindness and professionalism truly stood out. The hotel itself is wonderful, the atmosphere is very relaxing. The food was excellent and the beverages were just as enjoyable. I would especially like to thank Mr.Sunny Aundhoo for his outstanding service, his dedication and welcoming attitude made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again with my family.

We had an amazing stay at the resort. As a couple we were looking for a relaxing week vacation with nice weather, good food and not too much to do. I chose this resort specifically for the good reviews on vegan food. I have a vegetarian diet and my husband does eat meat on occasion. We were really impressed by the quality of food and choices. There was enough variety on a daily basis and the different restaurants gave us some change every other day. Our room was small and basic but had everything we needed and was cleaned every day. Personally the bed was not the best I ever had, but I guess that is personal preference. We usually started our day at the beach wich is lovely and peaceful. It can get a bit busier over the weekends with locals an their children but didn’t disturb us at all. Then ending our day with a sundowner at the lovely pool cabana’s. Lastly the staff is so kind and helpfull, they work very long shifts, sometimes in the heat but stay very kind. We will definitely be coming back here!
