What a great hotel for families! Excellent location - there is a large market close to the hotel some days of the week, a promenade on the beach, a 7/11 close by. The rooms - were well maintained, clean, huge (we had a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator and all the necessary kitchen utensils). There were activities for children, a playground, huge pools that never felt crowded. And the breakfast was very rich and varied (it is recommended to taste the local desserts). All the hotel staff were very helpful, welcoming and I would especially mention Kob who helped us a lot and was very nice to us.

I recently stayed at Sunwing Kamala Beach with my family, and it was honestly one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. The resort facilities are outstanding; everything was extremely clean, well-maintained, and very family-friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options, and the main restaurant served amazing international food throughout our stay. One thing that really stood out for us was that all the chicken and meat served at the resort is halal, which made dining very comfortable and convenient for our family. This resort is truly designed for families and children. There are plenty of activities organized for kids according to different age groups, and my 5-year-old son absolutely loved every moment here. Even if you decide not to go out for sightseeing or tourist activities, you will never feel bored at the resort because there are so many activities available for both kids and adults. The swimming pools were another highlight as it was very clean and temperature controlled, which made them perfect for families and children. What made our experience even more special was the amazing staff. Everyone was humble, polite, friendly, and always willing to help. A special mention goes to Renelyn from Guest Relations, who was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. She guided us very well, arranged a room upgrade for us at a very reasonable price, and even allowed us a complimentary late check-out, which we truly appreciated. Another great advantage is that many of the staff members are Filipinos and communicate very well in English, making everything smooth and easy for international guests. I would highly recommend Sunwing Kamala Beach to anyone visiting Phuket, especially families with children. In my opinion, this is one of the best family-oriented resorts in Phuket, and I would definitely love to stay here again.

I absolutely loved my stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach Hotel! Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does an excellent job cleaning them every day. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of shops, beauty salons, and everything you need nearby. The massage service is outstanding, and the massage therapists are incredibly kind and professional. The food offers a great variety of delicious choices, and the inclusions make your stay even better. What truly makes this place special is the staff. Every single person is caring, attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure you have a wonderful stay. You can tell they truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and happy. Special mention to the fitness club trainer Ash (forget me not!) that made the exercise sessions very enjoyable and was flexible to my requests! And M in the restaurant for excellent customer service! I fell in love with this place and with the amazing people who work here. Thank you for such a memorable experience. I sincerely hope I can come back again very soon!

We had an amazing stay at this beach resort! The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and nearby attractions. The resort is exceptionally kids-friendly — there were plenty of activities for children, and the staff went out of their way to make families feel welcome and comfortable. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Everyone was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing family vacation. Highly recommend this resort for anyone traveling with kids and looking for a stress-free beach getaway! One personal small point for improvement as a passionate Zumba lover - the Zumba teacher was not really motivated nor professional. He started the class later and ended it earlier than scheduled, did the class in Crocs on Russian disco music 😂 I don’t expect a licensed Zumba instructor, but either don’t call it “Zumba” or be a bit more professional at least.
