This is an excellent family resort. We had a fantastic holiday at Sunwing Kamala Beach and would definitely stay there again. The location next to the beach, with restaurants, markets, and shops within walking distance, was ideal. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-designed, and we greatly appreciated the convenience of the kitchenette. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The resort facilities provided endless joy for our daughter and us, especially the multiple pools, waterslides, and the swim-up pool bar. We also enjoyed the food throughout our stay, with its great variety of Thai and standard menu options. What truly set our stay apart was the outstanding service from the friendly, welcoming staff, who made a point to remember my daughter's name. We would especially like to recognise: - Sherm, for consistently making our dining experiences so pleasant. - AOF, who gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and kindly let our daughter ride on the baggage trolley to our room. - Myra and Yuyah at the Lollo & Bernie Kids Club, who are amazing with the children. My daughter loved spending time there. Seeing a big lizard visit the pool on our last day was an extra special memory for us! We fell in love with Sunwing Kamala Beach and its wonderful staff, and will highly recommend the resort to any families looking for a relaxing holiday in Phuket.

It had been quite a while since my wife's pregnancy and the subsequent birth of our son last year that we had a vacation and I was longing for one. I had Phuket in mind since I had been there earlier, and I absolutely love Thailand for its hospitality and courteous people. However, the challenge was travelling with our one-year-old. Since it was his first long vacation, we wanted to choose a place that was family friendly and provided amenities for babies. After some research, I came across the Sunwing Kamala Resort, offering Happy Baby Studios, designed specifically for babies and booked the same from 8th - 14th October 2026. On our arrival, we were delighted to see that the room had the exact same amenities as promised while booking - it had everything that a 1-year-old might need. A high chair for feeding, a baby potty, a tub for bathing, a stroller, a cot with a mosquito net, toys, a diaper-disposal bin - you name it and you have it. My wife asked them for a sterilizer machine and got that as well, at a rent of 100 THB per night. The on-site restaurant, Som's Kitchen also prepared customized food for the baby as requested. We asked them to prepare some boiled rice,vegetables and chicken and blend it together and they made it perfectly. It was due to these amenities and the co-operation from the staff that our experience of travelling with our 1-year-old was made a lot smoother. For the 6 nights that we stayed there, Sunwing Kamala almost became our second home. For anyone looking to travel with a toddler in Phuket, the Happy Baby Studio is an amazing choice. The resort also has 8 outdoor swimming pools, all well-maintained. They even have activities such as water aerobics from time to time. The breakfast buffet is expansive. With additions such as the Teens Lounge, Lollo and Bernie's Club, this resort is a great choice for families looking to travel with Kids. Only thing I'd say is to add some more variety to the Room Service Menu. Also, one more thing to be aware of is that they charge 50 THB extra if your room service order is less than 500 THB. Also, they charge a security deposit of 2000 THB on arrival, which is refundable upon check-out. They clean the room daily but keep your towels on the floor if you want them changed. The resort is right on the beach and has a nice restaurant - Fino's by the beachside. We had a grilled salmon with hollandaise sauce and lobster cream one day and it was delicious. Kamala Beach is a much quieter area as compared to the bustling Patong area but has it's fair share of shops, cafes and a 7/11 as well. Overall, a great choice if you're looking to spend some time at a beachfront resort that is kid-friendly and at a quiet location, while not being too far from Patong. Note that they have scheduled round-trip/one-way shuttle buses leaving daily at 6:30 PM and 8 PM from the hotel for Jungceylong Mall, Patong and it takes about 30 mins to reach.

I absolutely loved my stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach Hotel! Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does an excellent job cleaning them every day. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of shops, beauty salons, and everything you need nearby. The massage service is outstanding, and the massage therapists are incredibly kind and professional. The food offers a great variety of delicious choices, and the inclusions make your stay even better. What truly makes this place special is the staff. Every single person is caring, attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure you have a wonderful stay. You can tell they truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and happy. Special mention to the fitness club trainer Ash (forget me not!) that made the exercise sessions very enjoyable and was flexible to my requests! And M in the restaurant for excellent customer service! I fell in love with this place and with the amazing people who work here. Thank you for such a memorable experience. I sincerely hope I can come back again very soon!

Our stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach was truly exceptional—a wonderful experience that felt comfortable, thoughtful, and genuinely family-friendly from the very beginning. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with clean and well-kept bathrooms. What we particularly loved were the lovely views from our balcony—simply sitting there and watching the ever-changing clouds and open skies was a pleasure in itself. As a kid-friendly resort, Sunwing has clearly thought of everything. From dedicated kids’ meals and a fantastic children’s pool with slides to the overall family-oriented atmosphere, every little detail seemed designed to make travelling with children easier and more enjoyable. The location is another major highlight. The resort sits right on the edge of beautiful Kamala Beach, while just outside you have virtually everything you might need—7-Eleven stores, massage centres, restaurants, cafés, and local conveniences, all within easy walking distance. For families, especially those travelling with young children, we would highly recommend Kamala over the much more crowded Patong area. And if you do want to enjoy Patong’s nightlife, it is still very accessible by Grab, or by walking to the main road and taking a shuttle. Overall, Sunwing Kamala Beach gave us exactly what we wanted from a family holiday—space, cleanliness, beautiful surroundings, convenience, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. A heartfelt recommendation for families looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Phuket. We would happily return! ❤️

Exceptional family holiday. Staff are so wonderful and friendy, to mention Kat our room attendant, Namfon in the resturant, Yam in the kitchen, and Bank, Aif, and Farid at reception. And Ding at the swim up bar! The location is so clean- the toilets and shower block is kept very clean by staff. The swim up pool bar in the kid area was my favourite, many wonderful affordable mocktails, juice smoothies and coconut. At the swim up bar we played many game of their connect 4 games there too.
