I do not know how this place calls itself a luxury resort. From the moment we arrived, the service was a complete disaster. We were not even assigned a butler at check in. We waited a day and a half before someone finally showed up. When we did get a butler, he was completely non responsive. We had to call the front desk every single day just to get basic things like towels and room service. Nothing was handled with care or urgency. The hospitality was awful across the board. Staff seemed indifferent and not interested in helping with anything. The food was another major disappointment. The only things that tasted decent were the pizza and nachos by the pool. The lunch buffet near the check in area was just okay, but everything else was bland or poorly made. On top of all that, I paid for a birthday package for my son’s twenty second birthday. It included balloons and a cake that was delivered to our room. After we had two slices, I asked multiple staff members for a box so we could store the rest of the cake. After being bounced around and ignored, I was finally told they did not have a single box available. The rest of the cake went to waste. It was ridiculous and just added to the disappointment. My sister got married there and our group brought this resort over forty thousand dollars in revenue. You would think they would treat us well, but our entire party left frustrated and unhappy. None of us will ever return. I would not recommend this place to a single person. Not even a rat. Completely horrible.

Having a blast during our second visit to TRS Coral. The grounds are gorgeous, and between the golf carts and the free boat rides, getting around is super easy. The food options are plentiful, truly something for every palate. You get access to all the restaurants on the Grand Palladium property, not just TRS, and there are some absolute gems at the main resort. Kudos to Bhogali with Chef Deepak and La Adelita (our server Gil was great and kept our drinks full all night). At Adelita, Luis the sommelier did offer us a premium wine bottle menu, and even though we didn't end up getting a bottle, he was very nice, didn't pressure us, and spent some time at our table sharing about the history of wine in Mexico. You couldn't ask for a nicer staff at a resort, and honestly, the guest population is pretty fab too. We've made so many friends during our stays here! The entertainment was a very welcome surprise -- we're normally pretty disappointed in the shows at all-inclusive resorts like this, but loved the more intimate, up close shows that were put on at TRS Coral. The magic show by the magician HB was so fun and made me feel like a kid in the best way. Way more polished than your average act, and crowd work was top notch. I have the feeling we're going to be back here soon!

This hotel really gave us mixed feelings, some parts were amazing, like the view and the atmosphere (but we booked ocean view and it was blocked by trees) all the bars service were awesome. Lunches and breakfast were great. However, the dinner experiences were not so good. Starting with one dinner we thought was fantastic and flawless BEFORE checking out. We went to El Gaucho, the server was extremely nice to us, offering to take pics for us and all those. We weren’t planning to order any bottled wines coz there’s free house wine and we don’t tell difference between wines honestly. But he was so kind and recommended one bottle and said it was only 25usd. We were 10000% sure we heard 25usd, both me and my partner, that’s the only reason we were like okay it’s cheap so why not. (I even search the wine on wine searcher and the price was around 20). However, the bill said 75usd. In the end, we were kinda tipsy (the server also offered us 4 tequila shots at the end) and were really enjoying our dinner, so we signed the bill without confirming. When checking out we notice the price is NOT AT ALL what the server mentioned, and we have no evidence to prove that he said 25usd. So we have to pay it. And for the other three nights of dinner. First night at the French, the waitress got our order wrong. I pointed on the menu specific for her, she also comes again with a menu asking what I ordered. During the dinner, I asked her for three times is our foie gras coming, but we never got it. And for main we ordered duck but she gave us pork, it tastes fine so we didn’t say anything. Last night at el gaucho, the server got our order wrong again. He’s in training so we were fine about it, but I guess just wasn’t some best experience. Lastly, we lost an earring in the room. We left it on the bedside table and when we return it was gone. Obviously we have no proof whatsoever if the maid sweep it away or something, but it did had quite a lot sentimental value and we didn’t find it. I do want to compliment the butler service. Our butler was friendly and helpful and replies instantly. Overall, it’s hard to say if I’d recommend it. For the view of course, but do be cautious of any additional charge you might pay.

While not everything at TRS Coral is five-star, the staff absolutely is. Every team member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. Our butlers, Hector and Ivan, were outstanding and handled all our dining and activity reservations with patience and kindness. Pool and bar service was excellent, especially Fernando (“Speedy Gonzales”), who took great care of us at our swim-up pool. Dining servers—especially at El Gaucho—and the Thanksgiving brunch staff were also fantastic. We also loved interacting with the activities team. Dante, Alan, and the rest of the staff made every activity fun, engaging, and entertaining. And finally, housekeeping did an incredible job. Our room was perfectly made up each day and turned down beautifully every night. The rooms were comfortable but show some wear, and while the food was mostly just okay, the Italian restaurant and Thanksgiving brunch stood out. One downside on the adults-only TRS side is the lack of quick snack options. Unfortunately, check-in was the most frustrating part of our stay. When we arrived, the resort did not have us listed in swim-up rooms, and our family ultimately ended up in separate buildings. Overall: The staff truly made our stay special. With better reservation management and refreshed rooms, TRS Coral could fully match the incredible service their team already delivers.

Cons: If you are looking forward to a nice welcome at this resort look elsewhere. When we arrived we were supposed to get a welcome drink as they had us fill out a questionnaire prior to our arrival. However no welcome drink given and we had to carry our own bags to the room, the gentlemen that showed us where our room was located we later realized he was a spa salesperson and only did it to get a sale from us which we declined This place prioritizes spa sales over customer service. Everywhere we go there was someone trying to approach us on the resort to book the spa. I wish they would use these sales people for other tasks. Our room: Upon entering our room we were greeted with a moldy smell and towels all had stains on them. We asked for replacements and which also had stains.I recommend they use bleach for towels to get stains removed as a 5star resort we expect these little things to be perfect. Food: Out of all the resorts I’ve been to this one dropped the ball when it came to food. Pros: The hot tub in the balcony and the lounges was a nice treat to get back to. The beach was amazing and clear only one day it was murky after a night of rain. The butler service was on point, they helped save the day many times and their responses were quick and timely. The resort in itself is very nice and massive, the boat shuttles was a nice little treat. They also cleaned the rooms twice a day which was quite nice and good to come back to after being out all day. The French restaurant is a must such amazing food and experience. All the restaurants are well designed and decorated inside. Overall this resort is not bad if they can work on customer service and food it will indeed be a 5star
