Nice hotel, very clean and well maintained. Isolated from the nearest town but just 10 euros by taxi. We’re here just after the uk school holidays have finished and it’s quiet, just the way I like it. Beautiful gardens, a gym and heated indoor pool. The gym is ok but only one treadmill serviceable. Since it’s quiet it’s not been a problem. Daily transport provided into carveiro at 1000 returning at 1830. Housekeeping are 1st class and keep the rooms immaculate. A nice resort if you want to kick back and relax.

Stay was great. Tons of amenities and things to do. Location was secluded and quiet but also accessible to other towns if you have a car. Breakfast has tons of options and they upgraded our stay. Staff was super friendly and helped us make reservations for restaurants. Only negative was that the bathtub wasn't draining and after around 1 minute of showering, the water would pool significantly.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at this hotel. We received a free upgrade to a larger apartment, which was perfect for our family. The apartment was very clean, the kitchen well equipped, and there was plenty of space for our child. We also really enjoyed the beautiful garden. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff were extremely friendly. They were always kind and even took time to joke and interact with our son, which made our stay extra special. The only small downside is that in a few places you can see that the hotel is a bit older (some peeling paint, the sauna slightly worn, and the jacuzzi was out of order due to its age). However, it was being removed during our stay and will likely be replaced soon. It was not that bad to reduce the rating to 4 stars. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would gladly come back. Thank you!

Very nice and really calm hotel with friendly staff, amazing setting and landscape. Great facilities at the health center to keep the shape. Two really nice pools 1 outside and 1 inside with the spa. Amazing bedrooms with everything you need, beds extremely comfortable. Great restaurant with nice meals and breakfast. Great location too near beach and port. Special mention to Roberto a really nice, attentive and professional man who led the yoga, Pilates and meditation class with really good exercises for every levels and meditation script made by himself. He also led the aqua gym class with Ines dynamic and cheerful.

Pleasant stay here for a week in May. Ample parking, not too far from the beaches and local towns and it was nice and queit. The apartments are extremely spacious which is what you want traveling with kids and the outdoor pools are nice, although i didn't venture for a swim as it was pretty windy and cold at the start of May. Breakfast was good. We only ate at the restaurant once and it was adequate. All in all, a good stay. I'm not sure if the awarding bodies are different in Portugal but I wouldn't class this as a 5 star hotel, more like a decent 4 star.
