We just got back from an amazing two weeks here. We all enjoyed, especially the children. Before we arrived I emailed to ask for a ground floor suite and if they can get the room ready for us as we will arrive earlier than check in. They did it all and we was so grateful for this. We had a ground floor suite, one bedroom, room number 1110. It was the last apartment in a quiet corner and we ended up having all the extra side garden space to ourselves which was lovely. The room was cleaned everyday by the lovely Alendia (mimi) we had perfect air con although we didn’t need to use it often as the room was quite shaded. We had no cockroaches/insects or mosquitoes. We was mainly chilling in the young kids pool side, so we didn’t have an issue with loungers. My eldest who’s 12 loved the pool by the gym and her and my husband would go often there to swim. My husband played basketball often and volleyball everyone really enjoyed. The ladies at Kids club were amazing and although my youngest was under 4 they included him in everything with a parent there and they just adored him. He loved the disco!! He enjoyed cooking too! They are truly missed. The main buffet was my go too, sometimes the food was a little random, but can make a meal out of it, so was good. The kids enjoyed it too. Kepa the server there was so sweet he had great personality. Fresco restaurant was ok too, I loved going there for the pastry’s and ice cream! My husband loved Fresco as he love pizza, burgers and hotdogs for lunch 😅 Popcorn beach is walking distance, a lovely beach. We went to Playa Grande beach a few times as I prefer golden sand beaches 😊 (only about 7€ by taxi) we went to the market on Sunday and it was wonderful so many lovely things to buy. There is a local Dino market literally next door so handy too! The entertainment team was great, we enjoyed watching the Mamma Mia performance and watched the acrobatics one night and that was fabulous ❤️ after dinner we can usually hear the lovely songs/singing from the Spot, but as my youngest is quite small he found it too loud and we mainly headed back to our room in evenings, but my husband always when to grab a drink at the bar there, and he made friends with the bartender 😄 He also took photos with him, Haakem the sports guy, and the other guys from ths entertainment team he made friends with! Will see it I can post the pics to this 😅 My daughter is 12 made friends and even exchanged numbers with them. So she had a fab time. We had great time and I am glad we came to Alua Suites, we have made some fantastic memories here.
Em Furn
We were shocked in the best way when we arrived here, in person the hotel was 10x better than expected. Very nice layout, like a little village, not one huge pool with a giant hotel so it feels quiet even when the hotel may be full. Plenty of pools to choose from. Food is okay, I think alcoholic drinks are watered down. Entertainment is amazing, in the day and evening, there is something for everyone. There were 2 days in a row that the room wasn’t cleaned which was odd. Most staff are very friendly. Shop on site which is convenient. Close by to popcorn beach however it’s a big walk to the town.

Good location for Corralejo and suitable for families. Found it an unusual concept though, as pretty much everything was self-service. Buffet, drinks etc- virtually no service offered. You have a token for a plastic cup which gets refilled or replaced, you must have the token though. All house brand drinks from bar which meant limited options for me. No premium brands. Cocktails were premixed and sugary. Couldn’t offer cranberry juice oddly..: No towels offered for pool (unless you pay €20, but even still- not cleaned!) Pools were good and there was a social team but generally didn’t meet expectation for price point paid. Booked a one bedroom suite, fine for family of 4, but the sleeper sofa in living room does need passing or cushions between the two mattresses as my son fell through and hurt himself on exposed metal. Very basic bathroom amenities. Breakfast was probably the best meal, didn’t rate dinner (went out instead after first night) lunch was better in the poolside restaurant than the main one.

Large rooms with a very comfortable bed maid service every day, all the food and drinks you could possibly need with nightly entertainment worth watching the flamenco dancing was superb. Very easy to find and not too far to walk to the centre. Friendly staff and very helpful. The whole place is kept in superb condition would stay again no problem.

Not a bad place to spend your holiday, but definitely a huge room for improvement. Positive is the food in the main restaurant, that is part of the all inclusive package. Delicious and well made, good variety. Negatives are the relatively old rooms, amortised interior and even not working amenities. Reception personnel is useless and not trained properly. Same goes for the animation staff, that supposed to entertain children. You often even find rude and unprofessional attitude from the restaurants and bars - Fresco, in particular , that could ruin your stay, if you decide to pay attention to this. There were a few exceptions and people that made our stay overly positive, however, if you paid extra, it doesn’t meet the necessary standards for a good quality hotel.
